Every time he returned home from school, Rei was as usual carrying out his duties as the manager of Seirin's basketball team.

"Today's training is over! Change your clothes and get your things done!" Riko orders after the exercise is over.

Rei tidied up the items previously used for practice aided by the new members of the basketball club.

When he finished, he took his bag and went out to the gym and intended to go home. On the way he remembered something and checked his bag.

'My notebook is not there, is it left in class or at the gym? The book contains all the data of the basketball team members as well as data from other school basketball teams, if it is lost it can be critical.' Inner Rei then walked quickly back to school.

After arriving at school, he checked the class first. A dark day gives a creepy impression while in school. Rei quickly checked his class.

He went to the gym because he didn't find his notebook in class. He ran a little to get to the gym. When he arrived at the door of the gym, he stopped his steps because he heard a voice.

'Is there anyone in the gym? Hasn't everyone gone home?' Inner Rei then slowly and carefully opened the gym door.

A red-haired figure with branched eyebrows running bounces on a basketball and doing a dunk.

"Kagami-kun's? Why are you here?" Rei asked which made Kagami turn to him.

"I asked the coach for permission to train longer. You alone? Why are you still here? Didn't you go home?" Ask Kagami.

"I left my notes, so I came back to get them." Rei then looked around the gym and found his notebook on the bench he had used to sit during training hours.

Rei immediately walked towards the bench and took his notebook and put it in his bag, while Kagami resumed his training. He saw it and wanted to play too.

"Kagami-kun, can I join you? How about we play one on one?" Rei's words that made Kagami turn back to him.

"Do you want to play in a skirt like that?" Said Kagami while glancing at the skirt used by Rei.

"I can replace it. Just a minute." Rei said then picked up his bag and ran small towards the changing room.

It didn't take long, Rei walked out of the locker room wearing his shoes and sportswear. He then put his bag on the bench and approached Kagami who was still training by himself.

"I'm done. Can we start?" Rei said with a smile.

They take their respective positions and Rei brings the ball first. Kagami struggled a bit to take the ball from him because he was quite agile and had a short body.

Rei continued to score with three point shots, while Kagami often did dunks. As Rei was about to snatch the ball from Kagami, he accidentally slipped and made it fall. Kagami approached him immediately.

"Daijobu? Are you hurt?" Ask Kagami worried.

"I'm fine." Rei said with a smile.

"Belda! You should be more careful." Said Kagami nagging Rei.

Rei stood up again.

"Let's play again! I won't lose to you." Rei said with a serious face.

"I won't budge on you, either, even if you're a girl." Said Kagami with a serious face.

"How about we bet? The loser must treat the winner to a meal at the maji burger." Rei Said.

"Yes! I won't lose!" Kagami said excitedly.

They're back in the game again, but this time it's more serious than ever. Eventually Rei managed to win from Kagami by just one point.

"Ha'i ha'i." Kagami said lethargic.

"You shouldn't be lethargic like that, I won't eat much so you don't lose anything. Precisely if you win, I lose big because of your large portion of food." Rei Said.

Rei then walked towards the bench to pick up his bag, he then walked towards the changing room. A few minutes later, he had finished changing his clothes, while Kagami was still busy playing basketball by himself.

"Let's go, Kagami-kun." Rei said that made Kagami stop playing basketball and take his bag and basketball.

They both walked towards the burger maji. After arriving there, Rei ordered the usual menu, as well as Kagami who ordered as many burgers as usual. They took their seats near the window.

They were enjoying their own food, Kagami was eating very voraciously, in contrast to Rei who was eating quietly.

"Kagami-kun, eat quietly, otherwise you can choke." Said Rei advising.

Hearing this, Kagami ate quietly. Rei leaned back, and wiped Kagami's lips with tissue. Kagami was shocked by Rei's actions, his face was also met with red because of it.

"Kagami-kun." Call Rei who sees Kagami speechless. "Kagami-kun." Call him again and wave his hand in front of Kagami's face.

Kagami then regained his senses from his shock.

"Kagami-kun, huh? Why are you daydreaming?" Ask Rei.

"N-Nandemone." Kagami said nervously and resumed eating.

Rei also resumed eating. After they finished eating, they came out of the burger maji.

"His love..." Rei was satisfied. He turned to face Kagami. "Armato, Kagami-kun. Next time buy me again, will you?" Continue with a big smile.

"Basic, you can be fat if you eat too much." Kagami.

"Not going to." Rei said sure.

They walk home together.

"Kagami-kun, if you may know..what is the reason you like me?" Rei asked without looking at Kagami.

Kagami was surprised to hear Rei's question, his face was also met with red. He also scratched his own cheek because he did not know what to answer.

"I wonder why you guys like girls like me?" Rei stopped his steps and looked at the ceiling. Kagami also stopped his steps and turned to look at Rei who was staring at the ceiling.

"I am from another world, I am not special even I am an unwanted child. Why do you like me?" Rei said that was implied sadness from his eyes.

Kagami hugged Rei.

"It doesn't have to be special, for me you are yourself. I like you for who you are. No matter you are from another world, no matter you are not wanted by others. We'll still like you. I think they will think the same of me. Otherwise, how could I possibly have to compete with them for you." Kagami said seriously.

"Although I don't believe in destiny, divination and such things. But I feel like you're destined to meet us, you're the one who turns us into better people." Further.

Rei who heard it became moved, overwhelmed with relief and gratitude from Kagami's words.

'I think it may have been fate that brought me to this world.' Inner Rei with a smile.
