End Chapter

After arriving at his dimension, Rei immediately packed up and headed for the hospital that Rin was told about.

After arriving at the hospital, Rei immediately headed to the room where his father was being treated. There, his father lies weakly using various medical devices to help him survive. Rei felt like crying seeing his father's apprehensive condition.

There was a grown man sitting in a chair near his father's bed, as if he were waiting for his father to come to his senses. The man then turned his head and smiled looking at Rei who was standing near the hospital room door. The man was a lawyer and his father's right-hand man. Rei then approached the man.

"Sir Hermanto, how's dad doing?" Asked Rei with teary eyes.

"The doctor said he didn't know when he would wake up. It may take a long time or it may never wake up again." Said Mr. Hermanto.

Rei who heard that tried to strengthen himself so as not to cry. Although his father never cared for him, he still loved his father. Mr. Hermanto then brought Rei to sit on the sofa.

"There's a will for Miss Rei from the father." Said Mr. Hermanto and handed him a document.

Rei then accepted and read it. It says that most of his father's shares were handed over to him.

"What does this mean sir?" Rei asked not understanding.

"Father left a legacy for Miss Rei and hoped you could take care of her company after she was not around. He believed that Miss Rei was able to lead the company even though Miss Rei was very young." Said Mr. Hermanto.

"She also left this letter for Miss." Said Mr. Hermanto again while giving a letter. Rei then opened it and read it.

To Rei, though,

Forgive the father who has not cared for you much less cared for you. I was always busy with my job and made it as an escape so I wouldn't remember your dead mother. I failed at being a good father to you. I wish you could be happy even without a father beside you.

Rei felt disbelief, the tears he had been holding back since then finally spilled. He was crying so much. The father she thought didn't care about her was still trusting and loving her.

SKIP TIME

It's been 6 months since his father fell into a coma. Rei continued to visit his father on the sidelines of school activities and busy taking care of the company in his father's place assisted by Mr. Hermanto as his father's right hand. He continued to hope that his father could come to his senses from the coma.

Rei was currently sitting on a chair near his father's bed and looking at his father who was still in a coma.

"Dad, get up. I want us to be together again." Rei Said.

Suddenly the heart rate detection device showed a straight line, Rei frantically pressed the bell to call the doctor and nurse. After the doctor and nurse arrived, they immediately examined her father.

The doctor who examined his father then turned to Rei and shook his head. While the two sisters who had come to cover his father's face with a white cloth then brought his father's gurney to the morgue.

Rei who was standing in the corner of the room immediately limp his legs and could not support his body. He sat on the floor and cried.

'Why do you have to go?! Why?!' Inner Rei was still crying.

After crying for a while, Rei finally decided to call Mr. Hermanto and ask him to take care of his father's funeral.

Rei then decided to go home. He immediately went up to the second floor to his room, strangely he heard a noise coming from his room.

"Aominecchi, what are you doing?" Say a familiar voice in her ear.

"I'm just checking his room."

"Stop Daiki, you shouldn't be carelessly checking a girl's room."

Rei opened his room and was surprised to see who was in his room.

"How did you get here?!" Rei said in disbelief.

They all turned and looked at Rei. They immediately hugged Rei tightly. They hugged for quite a while. As they had already let go of his embrace, Rei stared at them sharply asking for an explanation.

"Explain to me how you can be here." Rei said with a commanding tone.

The flashback

Kiseki no Sedai and Kagami are gathering at Akashi's house. They are currently in the living room of Akashi's house. They looked at each other, waiting for someone to start a conversation.

"So, we're gathered here to talk about Rei." Akashi. They all watched him speak seriously.

"We haven't seen her in six months. I want to meet him, what about you?" Akashi asked and saw them one by one asking for an opinion.

"I miss Reicchi, I want to see him." Say Kise.

"Me, too, doesn't mean I miss him." Midorima said, raising her glasses.

"I want to meet him." Aomine.

"me too. I want to know how she is." Kagami.

"I want to eat the cake that Rei-chin made." Murasakibara said while eating his maibou.

"I also wanted to meet with Rei-san, but she already told me to wait for her to return right?" Kuroko.

"It's been a while Tetsuya. What if we go to see him?" Akashi.

"How is it?" Ask Kagami.

"I don't know either, but there must be a way." Akashi.

They remained silent for a long time until a voice spoke.

"You really want to meet him?" Ask that voice.

The seven of them looked for where the voice came from.

"No need to look for me, I'm in front of you." Say that voice again and Rin appeared before them.

"A-Are you a ghost?" Ask the trembling Kise.

"It's not polite to call me a ghost." Said Rin pouting. "Include my name Rin, I'm the one who brought Rei into your world."

Akashi then stepped forward and stood before Rin.

"So you brought him into our world. Why are you showing up in front of us now?" Ask Akashi.

"You want to meet him, right?" Ask Rin.

They all nodded in response.

"I can take you to meet him." Rin.

"How is it?" Ask Akashi.

"Of course by passing through the inter-dimensional space of the venerable master Akashi." Rin insinuated Akashi.

The satirized Akashi tried to hold back his anger. Rin is the only way they can go to see Rei.

"You really can take us to see him?" Ask Akashi.

"Of course you can." Said Rin sure.

Akashi then turned his head, they all nodded in response.

"Take us to see him." Akashi represents everything.

Flashback off

After listening to their story, Rei fell silent for quite a while.

'I need to talk to Rin.' Inner Rei.

"Rin, where are you?!" Shouted Rei but no voice answered.

Kiseki no Sedai and Kagami only pay attention to what Rei does.

"Rin, get out now or I'll be so mad!" Shouted Rei again while holding back his nearly exploding anger. Those who saw him were so shocked by the nature of this one Rei.

"Can't you not yell? Your voice could be bothering the neighbors." Rin said annoyedly.

"I want to ask you. It's very important." Rei said seriously.

"Ask me." Rin.

"Does it matter if they leave their world?"

"It doesn't really matter. After all, those who want to meet you."

"Who are you really? I've been wanting to ask you about this for a long time, but you never showed up."

"I? I am a fairy of happiness. My job is to bring happiness to people like you."

"People like me? Whatchu mean?" Rei asked again not understanding.

"In short, a person who has never felt happiness for 17 years of his life and has always been lonely is more or less so. That's why I came to bring you happiness and now my job is done." Rin clearly.

"Then, why did you say that the chances of me returning to their world were so small?"

"At that time I was testing you, whether you would be selfish and choose your own happiness or go back and give up your happiness." Rin clearly. "You've passed the test I gave you. You deserve the happiness you want."

Rei hugged Rin for a long time, then relaxed his embrace and looked at Rin.

"Arygato, Rin. I'm so grateful to have met you." Rei said with a sincere smile.

Rin also smiled. Rei then let go of his embrace.

"Rin, may I ask you one more thing?" Ask Rei.

"Of course I can." Answer Rin.

"Can you make an inter-dimensional door for us to use at any time?"

"Of course." Rin said and then started making inter-dimensional doors on the walls of Rei's room.

"Why do I have to make the door inter-dimensional again?" Ask the curious Kise.

"Of course you should go back." Rei replied which made them all surprised.

"Why should we go back?" Ask Kise

"We don't care if we have to stay here forever." Aomine.

Rei then pinched his forehead.

"You can't just leave your world. You guys still have to finish your school." Rei explained. "We can still meet again with the inter-dimensional door that Rin made. You can come every weekend."

"It's done!" Rin said happily.

"Go back for now. Come back next week. There's still something I need to take care of here." Rei Said.

They all look unwilling. Rei then sighed. He approached them one by one and kissed them on the forehead. They then hugged Rei before finally using the inter-dimensional door to return to their world.
