Chapter 26's

Both teams entered the stadium and were greeted by cheers from the crowd. Other members of Kiseki no Sedai also watched their matches.

'They look excited.' Inner Rei who was looking at the expression of the Seirin team players who were sitting on the bench. Then she smiled a little.

When both teams were asked to enter the field, Kagami approached Aomine who was looking down like he was thinking of something.

"Yo" Call Kagami who makes Aomine raise her head and look at Kagami who is standing in front of her.

Aomine was surprised to see Kagami, then grinned.

"It seems you've improved a little." Aomine.

"That's how." Aomine.

Kuroko also comes to Aomine and closes her eyes to remember all her memories with Aomine and Kagami. Then he opened his eyes.

"This time, we will definitely not lose." Kuroko.

Aomine looked smirked again.

The match between Seirin and Touou began. Aomine manages to score first for Touou's team by doing Alley-oop.

Kuroko then passes the ball to Teppei using Ignite Pass Kai technique. Teppei received it well, but the moment he was about to dunk Wakamatsu prevented it. Teppei then passed the ball to Kagami who was in the back. Kagami then performs an Alley-oop and scores for Seirin.

Then there was one on one between Kagami and Aomine. But Kagami directly passes Izuki's ball. Then he sighed.

"I can't." Kagami said that made Aomine not understand. "It's annoying, but I can't win. Right now, I can't." And went forth from before Aomine.

Riko then asked for a time out. Seirin thought of a plan to face Touou especially Aomine.

"alright. Then, I'll start printing numbers from the outside. Izuki, give me the ball." Hyuga.

"What?" That was the reaction the other members gave.

"Tou's defense inside is also very strong, so I'll draw their attention out." Hyuga explained his plan. "We start the strategy from there." Then stand up from his seat.

"alright. We're counting on you, Hyuga-kun." Riko agreed to Hyuga's plan.

Hyuga and Sakurai just kept on scoring. No one wants to give up. The first quarter was finished with a series, both teams were resting on the bench.

"We managed to survive. Kuroko, you better rest a little." Kagami Advice.

"No, I can hold on any minute." Kuroko. "Coach. When the second quarter starts, let me use the vanishing drive again. We're a series, but we've been terrible chasing them. I don't want to stay behind." He said with a serious face.

Riko agreed. In the second quarter, there was one on one between Kuroko and Aomine. Kuroko does a vanishing drive, but Aomine manages to snatch the ball from her and scores a number.

"Don't get me wrong, Tetsu. A shadow cannot exist without light. No matter how much you fight, your efforts won't work." Aomine then approached Kuroko and stood before her. "Shadows can never defeat light." Then go and go.

Kuroko who heard that sentence greatly affected her mentally. He then performs Ignite Pass Kai and is directed at Aomine. But, Aomine managed to hold the ball. Kuroko was so surprised.

"Don't keep disappointing me, Tetsu." Aomine. "If this is your answer to defeat me, then let me make it clear. Your efforts are in vain." Then back to printing numbers.

Kuroko is still depressed. Riko immediately asked for another time out.

"Kuroko-kun, you're out." Riko.

Kuroko who heard it was so shocked that she raised her head which had been lowered.

"Dec." Said Kuroko who was back down.

Riko began to explain the strategy. Kuroko was busy with her thoughts. Unknowingly, he was crying. Rei then patted Kuroko on the shoulder to calm her down.

"Don't give up, Kuroko-kun. In this world, there is no wasted effort." Rei said with a smile.

The match started without Kuroko on Seirin's team. Although Kuroko is absent, Kagami manages to confront Aomine alone.

'His pent-up strength has risen.' Inner Rei smiled.

Everyone who saw him was surprised. Aomine became more serious, but he kept playing by himself. Kagami can play balanced against Aomine. There was one on one between them.

The first round is over. Rest for 10 minutes before the second half starts.

Aomine was on an outdoor field close to the stadium. Aomine is smiling. Rei intends to meet him.

"You seem very happy, don't you?" Rei Said.

Aomine then turned to her still with a smile adorning her face.

"Yes, I haven't felt this happy in a long time." Aomine.

"Have fun." Rei said then went back to join the others. Then it stopped. "One more," he said and looked. "Kuroko-kun hasn't given up yet." He continued with a smile and then completely left.

The second round began. Kuroko went back into the match. Aomine succeeds in fighting Kagami, and Kuroko confronts him so Aomine commits a foul.

"If Aomine-kun knows all my moves. It would be the opposite, right? We spent a lot of time together. Our thinking would be in line if in basketball, Aomine-kun." Kuroko.

"You did it, Tetsu." Say Aomine and then leave.

'So this is what he meant by not giving up.' Inner Aomine then grinned.

Seirin started counterattacking. But Touou also brought out their true abilities. Seirin's having a hard time.

The number gap is getting bigger. But Seirin had not given up. Their spirits are getting bigger.

Seirin continued to catch up. Both teams just keep attacking and defending each other.

Aomine smiled. He entered the zone. No one can stop him. Seirin then hopes for Kagami to stop Aomine.

Kagami continues to fail to stop Aomine until finally, he enters the zone.

Everyone who saw him was surprised.

'The real duel has just begun!' Inner Rei while grinning.

There was a fight between the two users. The outcome of the game depends on both of them being the Ace of both teams.

With the confidence of his friends, Kagami managed to put the ball in the final seconds and make Seirin win the game.

After the match, Aomine laid himself outside the stadium while looking at the night sky.

"Mitsuke!" Said Rei who approached Aomine and sat beside her who was still lying down.

"What are you doing here?" Aomine asked without looking at Rei.

"Just take a walk." Answer Rei how he is.

"Will you accompany me shopping tomorrow?" Aomine said then looked at Rei who also saw him. "I want to buy new basketball shoes. I want to practice." Further.

"certain. You know, you were really cool." Rei said with a smile.

Aomine's face was red because of it. He also shifted his eyes.

"This is my number. The place and time you met you set." Rei gave me his number. He stood up from his seat. "I have to go now. They must have been waiting for me." Then he left Aomine.

Aomine then remembered something.

'That means I asked her out!' Aomine's mind then his face turned red again. 'What should I do?!' His mind was starting to get frustrated.
