Chapter 40's

After breakfast, Kiseki no Sandai invites Kagami to speak outside Rei's house. Rei and Momoi were chatting in the living room.

"So Kagami, what did you do to Rei this morning?" Ask Akashi to the point.

"That's right. You didn't do anything weird, did you, Kagamicchi?" Say Kise.

Kagami just kept quiet and thought about what he was going to say, while the others were waiting for his answer.

'Do I have to lie? Wait, why am I lying? After all, now is the time to show my feelings to Rei. I don't have to lie.' Inner Kagami.

"Nothing happened, I just helped her with cooking breakfast because I thought she must be tired. I didn't do anything weird either." Kagami.

Rei then stood up and headed for the door. He looked a little surprised when he saw who was knocking on his door.

"Akashi-kun, what's wrong? Is there any of your stuff left behind?" Ask Rei

"No, I just want to see you again. I feel like I've always wanted to be by your side and keep seeing you." Akashi said while showing his smile.

Rei's face flushed from it. He didn't know what to say until he decided to turn his face away.

"Don't you like me being here?" Ask Akashi.

Immediately, Rei raised his face.

"I-Ie, I just..." Rei could not continue his words because it was too embarrassed. He turned his face back.

Akashi smiled wider and wider at the reaction shown by Rei.

"Let's go in first, Akashi-kun." Rei said at last but still did not stare at Akashi.

Akashi came in and sat on the living room couch. Rei chose to sit in front of him.

For a few seconds Rei just stayed where he sat.

'Push or not?' Inner Rei.

"Why just shut up?" Ask Akashi.

'I am also free to dispute it. He was always absolute.' Inner Rei then sat down next to Akashi.

Rei still did not see Akashi, he chose to lower his head. While Akashi smiled seeing Rei sitting next to him.

'Why am I so nervous? Calm heart...' Inner Rei while trying to normalize his heartbeat.

"Just..." Call Akashi who made Rei ventured to raise his head and look at him.

Akashi immediately brought his face closer and kissed Rei right on his lips. It took me a few seconds to realize what Akashi was doing to her. He then glared in surprise and his body was sculpted. They kissed long enough.

The moment Akashi released their kiss, Rei immediately turned his face away and lowered his head deeply. His face was already very flushed like a boiled crab.

'Akashi kissed me! That was my first kiss! I have to what now? Just act ordinary? But I can't, my face alone must have turned red by now! How's this?!' The frustrated inner Rei.

"Just..." Call Akashi who makes Rei raise his head and ventured again to look at Akashi.

Akashi again kissed Rei's lips briefly then looked into his eyes.

Rei could only silently grunt, he could not speak. After being silent for a long time, he was finally able to think back.

"A-Akashi-kun, you know that I can't choose yet?" Rei hesitated.

"I know, that's why I'm gonna make you pick me for as long as you have." Akashi said with a serious face. "I hope you'll choose me in the end." Then stand up from his seat.

"I have to go now." Akashi.

Rei immediately stood up and escorted Akashi to his house.

"I'll come again if there's time." Akashi then kissed Rei on the forehead and left.

Rei only sees Akashi's back from behind until he enters his car.

'What should I do? If Akashi had been like this, the others would have done the same.' Rei's mind then touched his left chest. 'Oh my heart.Hopefully I can hold on and make a decision later.'

Rei then moved from his standing position and entered his house.

He began doing homework such as sweeping, mopping and so forth. But his mind could not be separated from the seven of them, who else if not Kiseki no Sandai and Kagami.

"Armgh!" Frustrated scream. "Why do they keep appearing in my mind in turn? Can't I like them all? It's crazy!"

Rei then settles down on the sofa while relieving his tiredness after cleaning the house and trying to eliminate the seven of them from his mind. Then she recalled the moment Akashi kissed her. Recalling the incident, it made his face turn red again.

'Why should I remember that again anyway?!' Inner Rei while trying to forget the incident earlier.

He closed his eyes and finally fell asleep.
