Chapter 45's

After the lesson was over, Rei tidied up his books on the table. He prepares to head to the gym, but Kuroko stops him.

"What's Kuroko-kun?" Rei asked confusedly.

"The coach said today we don't work out, so there's no need to go to the gym and go straight home." Kuroko.

"Have you told Kagami-kun?" Rei Said.

"I've called him but he didn't hear and just left." Kuroko.

"I'll send him a message." Rei then pulled out his phone from the bag and started typing a message to Kagami. After he finished sending the message, he put his phone back in the bag.

"Ano...Rei-san." Call Kuroko.

Rei who had just put his phone into the bag raised his head.

"What's up, Kuroko-kun?" Ask Rei.

"Can Rei-san help me learn math? There's something I don't understand." Kuroko.

"Why don't you ask sensei? If you study with sensei you'll understand more easily." Rei Said.

"I've tried it, but sensei doesn't realize my whereabouts and just leaves. So I can't ask sensei." Kuroko.

"It must be very difficult for you to communicate with others. Especially with the air of your thin existence." Rei Said. "No problem, I'll help as much as I can." Continue with a smile.

They decided to study at Rei's house. After reaching Rei's house, they sat in the living room and took out a math book.

Kuroko asked him things that he could not understand and Rei explained them as simply as possible in order to be easily understood.

The clock had already shown at 7pm, Rei decided to cook dinner.

"Kuroko-kun, what do you want to eat? Let me cook for you." Rei Said.

"Anything can." Kuroko.

"If kare doesn't matter, right?" Rei's question was answered nodding by Kuroko.

Rei walked towards the kitchen and opened the refrigerator. He took out the ingredients needed to make the curry and started cooking.

'Wait a sec. Why think about it now? Aren't we like a couple?' Inner Rei with a face met with red then shook his head. 'What am I thinking?! Stupid me!'

Rei then hit his own head for thinking a no-no.

After a few minutes, the curry is finished. Rei prepares two kare plates for her and Kuroko. He then takes her to the living room where Kuroko is still busy studying alone.

"Kuroko-kun, time to eat." Rei said that made Kuroko raise her head.

Rei then gave the curry he had made to Kuroko.

"Arigatou, Rei-san." Said Kuroko while receiving the curry given by Rei.

They enjoy each other's work. After they finished eating, they continued to study until late.

Rei who was busy himself was unaware of Kuroko who was already soundly asleep.

"Kuroko-kun, do you want coffee?" Rei asked while looking at Kuroko.

Kuroko had fallen asleep with her head on the table with both hands she made as a pillow and her head facing to the side.

'Is he asleep? Good thing tomorrow's holiday, if not, how do I wake her up?' Inner Rei then walked to the second floor to pick up the blanket.

Rei enveloped Kuroko and noticed Kuroko's face every inch.

'You know, she stays cute. I'd love to pinch her cheek, but she'll wake up.' Inner Rei.

Rei then walked up the hand towards the room slowly so as not to wake Kuroko up. When he got to the room, he decided to take a shower.

When she finished her bath, she sat down at the dresser and dried her hair.

After that, he went up to his bed and lay down.

'Is it okay to let Kuroko sleep like that? Would I rather wake him up and tell him to sleep in the guest room?' Inner Rei then took a sitting position. 'I'm sure his body will hurt. I better tell you to move.' He then got off his bed.

Rei then went downstairs and headed towards the living room. Kuroko was still asleep in the same position as before. Nearby Kuroko who is still sound asleep.

"Kuroko-kun, Kuroko-kun." Rei said while gently shaking Kuroko's body. Kuroko opened her eyes slightly and was still half conscious.

"Rei-san, what's wrong?" Kuroko asked in a semi-conscious state.

"Sleep in the guest room, if you sleep here your body will hurt tomorrow." Rei's speech was only replied by murmur by Kuroko.

Rei then rubbed Kuroko's half-conscious body into the guest room. He then covered her and came out of the room.

Rei went back to his room and decided to go straight to sleep. The next morning, he woke up at 6 as usual. After finishing the bath, he went down to the first floor and prepared breakfast.

Kuroko came down from the second floor with her hair still messy and in a semi-conscious state.

"Ohayou gozaimasu, Rei-san." Kuroko said while rubbing her eyes.

"Ohayou, Kuroko-kun." Rei said as he turned to look at Kuroko.

'Malays...' Inner Rei when he saw Kuroko.

"Kuroko-kun, your hair needs to be tidied up." Rei then walked up to Kuroko and started to tidy up Kuroko's hair.

"Rei-san, do you think of me as a child?" Ask Kuroko suddenly.

Rei who was tidying up Kuroko's hair came to a halt. Then he lowered his hand.

"What do you mean, Kuroko-kun?" Rei asked confusedly.

"I feel like you're treating me like a kid. I just don't like being treated like that. I want Rei-san to treat me like a grown man." Kuroko.

"I don't think of you as a child, just that you're too cute. I can't help myself, gomen." Rei felt guilty.

Kuroko then hugged Rei and placed her head on Rei's shoulder.

"I love you, Rei-san." Kuroko. "Rei-san, promise me you'll never leave me."

Kuroko then relaxed her embrace and looked into Rei's eyes. He was waiting for Rei's answer.

'What should I answer? I'm...' Inner Rei hesitated a little. Finally, he made his heart and made a decision.

"I promise." Rei said and smiled.

Kuroko then smiled and hugged her back. After they finished breakfast together, Kuroko went home.

Rei then cleaned his house. When he finished, he laid himself on the sofa to relieve his fatigue. He looked at the ceiling of his house with a bright view.

'Why would they like a girl like me? I don't understand.' Inner Rei then covered his face with a pillow that was on the sofa and moved uneasily.

He then removed the pillow from his face and took a sitting position.

"You think how many times I still don't understand." Mumbled.

Finally, he decided to do his usual activities while getting rid of the questions that were in his head.
