Chapter 20's

After changing their wet clothes, Seirin's team decides to go to school on orders from Riko. When he arrived at school, it turned out that there was Momoi who immediately ran over to Kuroko and hugged her until she sat on the floor. While those who saw the arrival of Momoi were so surprised and envious of Kuroko. Unlike Rei who had a flat expression.

They then allowed Momoi to sit on the chair they had provided while they just stood in front of her to listen to her story.

"What are you doing here, Momoi-san? Is something going on?" Ask Rei.

"Looks...Aomine-kun already hates me." Momoi begins the story. "Aomine-kun didn't play in this year's Inter High semifinals or finals."

"We've heard it. But, why?" Ask Rei again.

"Yes. I expected it. The reason must be because of the quarter-final match against Kise-kun and Kaijou, right?" Riko.

"That's right." Momoi.

"If the 5 members of the miracle generation have weaknesses, it is the burden of their talents." Kuroko said that made them surprised. "Because of that, they had to withstand their strength. Otherwise, they would just hurt themselves." Rei Said.

"Aomine-kun was already careless when dealing with Kise-kun. I asked the coach not to play it. Aomine-kun keeps getting angry, but the coach keeps forcing him not to play during the championship. But, he finally knew..." Momoi said hanging up her sentence.

"And angry at you, right?" Ask Rei.

Momoi simply nodded her head in response and lowered her head.

"I'll try to talk to him." Said Rei while scratching his non-itchy nape.

Hearing that, Momoi immediately raised her head and smiled happily.

"Arigatou, Rei-chan!" Said Momoi who just hugged Rei tightly, making it difficult for Rei to breathe. It was fortunate that Momoi immediately noticed it and let go of her embrace. "But wait a minute, since when did you get close to Aomine-kun?" Momoi asked who made Rei flutter.

"That's..." Said Rei while scratching his cheek with his index finger.

'How's this? They will start asking questions. Did I answer honestly?' Inner Rei

"I'm sorry!!" Rei immediately ran out of the gym.

Rei who did not answer that question and immediately blurred left many questions in their minds.

"Actually, what is the relationship between Rei and Aomine?" Hyuga asked that made them all think.

"Didn't they.they were dating?" Said Riko trying to guess the relationship of Rei and Aomine.

Hearing Riko's words, Kuroko and Kagami already gave off their black aura.

Not felt, the rain has gone. Elsewhere, Rei was walking alone. She happened to see Aomine standing in front of the mini market using her hoodie and looking at the overcast sky.

"Aomine-kun!!!" Call Rei while running towards Aomine. Aomine who heard Rei's call turned to him.

"What are you doing here?!" Aomine asked who was still surprised.

"I happened to be looking for you. It's about your problem with Momoi." Rei said as he stood in front of Aomine. "You know, she came to see us at the gym and cried. You shouldn't talk to her like that. He's just worried about you." Further.

"I didn't mean to tell him that." Aomine said with his head down and a guilty face.

"I'm sorry to him. You've been friends since you were little, he must have understood and forgiven you." Rei said with a smile.

Aomine looked hesitant and Rei realized that.

Hearing Rei's words, Aomine was convinced to go straight to Momoi and apologize. The two of them walk to Seirin High School gym to meet Momoi.

"Momoi-san, I've brought her." Rei said as he entered the gym.

The other members instantly turned their attention to the two of them. They then walked closer to the other members.

"There's something he wants to tell you, Momoi-san." Rei said with a smile and pushed Aomine's body closer to Momoi.

"I-I'm sorry I spoke rudely to you, Momoi." Said Aomine with a guilty face and head lowered. Momoi remained silent for a while before finally answering.

"I forgive you, Aomine-kun." Momoi said with a smile.

Seeing that the two of them had made up, they all smiled happily. After that, they decided to go home. Aomine, Momoi, Kagami, Kuroko and Rei return home together. No one talking at all makes things awkward.

"Rei-chan, if I may know..." Said Momoi who hung up her sentence and made them notice what she was going to say next. "Who do you like?" Further.

Hearing that question, made them all shocked.

"I thought..." Said Rei who hung up his sentence and put on a thinking pose. Kagami, Kuroko and Aomine hope their names are called. "I don't like anybody yet." That makes them speechless.

"If you guys how? Who do you like?" Rei asked which made the three men turn their faces to hide the red tinge on their faces.

"I am of course Tetsu-kun!" Momoi said as she hugged Kuroko's arm.

"If you three?" Ask Rei.

"That's a secret." Kagami.

"That's right, we won't tell you." Aomine.

Kuroko just kept quiet.

"What don't-don't..." Rei said hanging up his sentence. "He's here? Or is he someone I or Momoi-san know?" It made their faces even more red.

'The person I like is you, Rei.' Inner Kagami.

'Rei-san, I like you.' Inner Kuroko.

'It's obvious the person I like is you.' Inner Aomine.

"I think I'm right." Said Rei who was smiling triumphantly. "I won't force you to tell me who you like, because that's your right." Further.

They split up at a crossroads. Aomine goes with Momoi, while Rei goes with Kagami and Kuroko. It didn't feel like they had arrived in front of Rei's house.

"Thank you for driving me home, Kuroko-kun, Kagami-kun." Rei said as he bowed 90 degrees.

"You don't always have to be this formal, do you?" Ask Kagami who is a little uncomfortable because of Rei's attitude.

"I'm sorry, unknowingly this has become a habit." Rei said with a smile. "Then I go in first." Then he went into his house.

After Rei entered his house, Kagami and Kuroko were still thinking about Rei's question earlier. Their faces were red. They try to forget the question from their minds and go home to each other.
