Chapter 6's

"Kagami is not able to face Kise, but the weakness is the weakest player on the pitch who can only pass. Kuroko-kun is?" Said Riko who did not understand.

"That's because, Kise's ability is to mimic the movements of other players. He can't face Kuroko because he can't replicate the abilities Kuroko has. That's his weakness." Rei Said.

"Then? It's true that it's only Kurokocchi's game that I can't replicate. But, if that's all that can change?" Say Kise.

The first quarter is finished.

"That's gonna change everything. We'll make you cry in the second quarter." Kagami.

The players are resting on the bench. Riko gets the idea to face Kaijou's team.

"Kuroko-kun and Kagami-kun, your cooperation will determine everything. Can you guys?" Riko.

Kagami hesitated to say something. Kuroko also stabbed Kagami in the waist.

"Damn it, what are you doing?" Said Kagami while enduring the pain on her waist.

"You're gonna beat Kise-kun, right?" Kuroko asked with her flat face.

"Surely so!" Kagami said and stabbed Kuroko in the waist back.

The second quarter begins. Kagami and Kuroko did a good combination against Kise and managed to score.

"Kise-kun is strong. I can't do anything, Kagami-kun can't match you either. But, if we unite forces, we can both fight you." Kuroko.

"You've really changed, Kurokocchi. You never played like this in Teikou. But, you still can't stop me! I'm the one who's gonna win!" Say Kise. "It's true I won't be able to replicate your combination play. But, because Kurokocchi could only use his ability for 40 minutes. Everything will turn around after the third quarter!"

"Is that right?" Kagami.

"What?!" Kise is confronted by Kuroko.

Everyone who saw him was shocked because of the difference in strength between the two of them.

"I never imagined it would be like this. Fight Kurokocchi in one on one." Say Kise.

"I am too." Kuroko.

"I don't know what your goal is, but Kurokocchi won't be able to stop me!" Said Kise then dribble and pass Kuroko, but he was then confronted by Kagami.

"You're wrong. We're not gonna stop you!" Kagami.

"We took the ball!" Riko.

Kuroko then did a back tip and snatched the ball from Kise.

"It doesn't matter how good you play against us. Because our goal is to get the ball!" Kagami.

The ball was passed to Izuki. Tim Seirin managed to score again. Kise's hand hits Kuroko's face, causing her to bleed. The game was stopped. Rei immediately approached Kuroko.

"Kuroko-kun, are you okay?" Tanya Rei made sure of Kuroko's situation.

"I'm fine, just a little dizzy." Kuroko.

Not long after, Kuroko collapsed leaning on Rei's shoulder. The other members immediately help her bring Kuroko's fainted body back to the bench.

'When I knew this would happen. I should have warned him to be more careful. It'sfault.' Inner Rei who felt guilty.

"How is he doing?" Asked Rei who looked worried.

"Kuroko-kun can't play anymore. We have to cover it with the rest of our members." Riko. "Offense (attack) is handed over to a second-grader. It's still the second quarter, but we shouldn't be left far behind. I know it's too soon but the time is serious, Hyuga-kun."

"Yes" Hyuga said as she nodded.

"Kise-kun can imitate you, so don't attack Kagami-kun. Focus on surviving. Do everything you can to prevent Kise-kun from scoring." Riko.

"What's? Is it okay?" Kagami.

"It's okay. Trust us." Hyuga.

"But..."

'Hyuga was indeed frightening when his other personality appeared.' Inner Rei who shuddered was horrified.

The match resumed. Kuroko was replaced by Koganei. Hyuga also showed his ability as a shooting guard (one who is an expert in scoring). He also shows his other personality when serious.

Elsewhere, a black-haired man was pulling a wagon with his bicycle with a green-haired man sitting inside.

"Damn! Though we always suit every passing crossroad!" Said the black haired man. "But you haven't pedaled a bike at all!"

"I'm sure I won't ride a bike. Because, the star divination event 'Oha Asa' this morning said, that today is a lucky day for a Cancer zodiac sign like me." Said the green-haired man and drank a canned drink.

"What does this have to do?" Said the black haired man. "In addition, we came all the way here just to watch the match practice, what is your friend as strong as?"

"Personator, and shadow player." Said the green-haired man.

"What is strong?!"

"Just paddle fast, the game is over!"

"It's because you've been reading the stars all the time, right!" Complain the black haired man

At Kaijou High School gym, the match resumes after the incident that befell Kuroko. While the head of Kuroko is in Rei's lap on the bench.

'Hurry up, Kuroko.' Inner Rei while watching Kuroko's fainted face.

Not long after, Kuroko came to her senses. Rei who saw Kuroko was aware was also happy to mix worry.

"Kuroko-kun, are you okay? Is it still dizzy?" Ask Rei.

"I'm fine." Kuroko said and stood up. "I'll go first." He then walked closer to the field.

"Wait!" Rei then confronted Kuroko. "Are you sure? You still need a break."

"They need me."

"But..."

"Just calm down, Rei-san. I'm fine, you don't have to worry." Kuroko said then patted Rei softly on the head to calm her who was still worried.

Riko who heard their conversation sighed and approached them.

"I'll put you down, Kuroko-kun. But, if I see your condition getting worse I'll replace you soon!" Riko.

Koganei was replaced with Kuroko. Seirin's team managed to catch up and make the score into a series. Kise ignited her emotions and became stronger.

"I won't lose. Not from anyone. Not from Kurokocchi!" Said Kise who showed a creepy face.

'Kise is different than usual. Creepy.' Inner Rei who saw Kise's face change.

"Great, everyone fight! The flow of the match will be back as it was during the first quarter. Struggles to fight over numbers!" Hyuga.

Seirin's team finally won with a score of 100-98. They cheered their victory. Rei immediately approached Kuroko.

"Are you okay, Kuroko-kun?" Asked Rei who was still worried.

"I'm fine." Kuroko.

"You've fought well, Kuroko-kun. You're so amazing." Rei said and smiled. Kuroko smiled as well.

"I.lost?" Said Kise who did not believe what had just happened.

Unknowingly, Kise was crying. Rei who realized that immediately approached him. While Kise immediately wiped her tears when she saw Rei who approached her.

"You don't have to hide your tears, Kise-kun. When you want to cry, cry. Make this a lesson and be stronger." Said Rei who gave his smile back. Kise was stunned for a moment.

"Arigatou, Reicchi." Kise smiled.
