Chapter 21's

It does not feel like it has entered the winter and will be held the Winter Cup qualifying round. Kagami could not sleep anymore so excited. They were ready to go to the stadium.

"We're leaving soon! Is everything complete?" Riko asked to make sure the team members were complete.

"We're still short of 1 person." Hyuga said while watching his team members, he then realized something. "Oh, Kuroko?"

"I'm right here." Said Kuroko who again appeared suddenly and made them surprised. "I've been here since." Further.

Kuroko was seen sighing in relief and Kagami realized that.

"No, this time you're lying! You just got here by running!" Said Kagami while pointing at Kuroko.

Kuroko just kept quiet and did not respond to Kagami's remarks. Kagami became upset.

"Alright, Kagami-kun. We have to leave soon." Rei's words managed to calm Kagami down.

They then went to the stadium where the qualifying match took place.

In the qualifying round, Seirin High School will play Josei High School. Kagami was also blocked by 2 people and he looked annoyed.

"Kagami-kun, relax!! Don't get carried away by emotions!!" Shouted Rei from the bench and it was a success to make Kagami calm again.

Seirin seemed to have trouble fighting Josei at first. But, with Kiyoshi Teppei they managed to excel.

While Kagami was again upset, he was even more upset than before because he scored very few numbers inversely with Hyuga who scored a lot.

'Kagami.you cannot be said. What do I do to get him back to calm down?' The inner Rei who saw Kagami was so upset that his face turned red.

Kuroko then throws the black writer she used to wear on Kagami's face and makes her even more upset.

"That's enough." Said Kuroko still with her flat face.

"What did you say, Kuroko?!" Said Kagami who was still upset.

"They're easy to shoot because their defense is watching you too much. You shouldn't have to worry. When you've calmed down, we'll show you our abilities." Kuroko.

"I can't do it with a cold head. But, just leave it to me. I'll make them feel it." Kagami.

'It looks like it's okay. Thankfully.' It was the inner Rei who saw the interaction between Kagami and Kuroko.

After that, Kagami jumps high and will do dunk. Simultaneously, the five members of Kiseki no Sedai felt something.

That is, the presence of someone whose ability can match Kiseki no Sedai. Kagami manages to dunk and score. Seirin won decisively against Josei.

'It's time.' Inner Rei while grinning.

Shutoku High School, Senshinkan High School, Kirisaki Dai Ichi High School, and Seirin High School all qualified for the league round. Among these four teams, there will be two schools representing Tokyo in the Winter Cup.

In the first round of the league, Seirin High School will play against Senshinkan High School. Right now, Seirin's team was walking home to each other. Kuroko then takes Kagami to the basketball court. Rei just followed the two of them.

"So, what do you want to do?" Ask Kagami when they're on the basketball court. Rei just stood on the sidelines while paying attention to what they were going to do next.

"Will you help me train my new drive?" Kuroko asked while holding a basketball.

"What's? You still haven't perfected it?"

"I've done everything I could. I just need you to perfect it."

"I understand. Alright. Go ahead."

Kagami is in a position to head off Kuroko, while Kuroko is dribbling. Kuroko made it past Kagami, but unfortunately he lost the ball. Kagami starts nagging Kuroko.

"Pffttt" Rei tried to hold back his laughter which made the two of them look towards him. "Sorry, sorry, you two are so funny that it makes me want to laugh."

"Let's go home." Said Rei who stood up and walked first ahead of them. The two of them followed him immediately. There was only silence between them.

"Had the drive been perfect, nothing would have stopped you, Kuroko-kun. Kagami-kun also grew stronger. You guys are amazing." Rei praised those who made the two of them slightly misbehaved. "I'm hungry, let's eat first."

They both just nodded. They decided to eat at a burger. Kagami orders burgers in large portions while Kuroko orders only vanilla milkshakes. Rei ordered one burger, fries and chocolate milkshakes. No one spoke, they ate quietly.

'Kise? What the hell is he doing? Is he being chased by his fans?' Inner Rei.

The man went into the toilet in the restaurant. The toilet is in the corner of the room. Outside the restaurant, many girls look for something or someone. Since they did not find him, they decided to give up and go home. 

"I want to go to the toilet for a minute." Said Rei then stood up from his chair and walked to the toilet. He was standing in front of the toilet waiting for the person inside to come out. Not long after, the person came out after feeling that things were safe. 

"It's a real hassle, being a model." Rei said with a smile.

The man looked surprised but then he breathed a sigh of relief.

"Reicchi just surprised me. I thought you were my fan." Said Kise and took off her glasses.

"Your fans are gone. Join us in. Coincidentally, we're eating here too."

Kise simply nodded and followed Rei towards their table. After arriving at their table, Kise just sat down next to Rei. While Kuroko and Kagami are a little surprised by Kise's appearance but they are later upset that Kise is sitting next to Rei.

"What are you doing here, Kise-kun?" Ask Kuroko.

"I have a photo shoot near here. After the photo shoot I intended to go home, but in the middle of the road I was chased by my fans so I hid in the restroom of this restaurant. Then I met Reicchi in the toilet. He then invited me to join." Kise explained.

"Kise-kun, have you eaten yet? Let me order some food for you." Rei said then stood up from his chair.

"No, Reicchi. I'm not hungry at all." Said Kise who was holding Rei.

"You're lying, you look thinner. You have to eat." Rei then ordered food for Kise. After he finished ordering food for Kise, he immediately took his order and placed it in front of Kise. "Eat." He said with a smile.

"Arigato, Reicchi. You're very considerate." Said Kise then ate her food voraciously. Rei who saw it smiled. While Kuroko and Kagami are feeling increasingly unhappy.

"Reicchi, open your mouth..." Say Kise while thrusting her fries at Rei. Rei then opened his mouth and ate it straight away.

"You don't have to bribe me. I can eat by myself." Rei Said.

"He. but I want to feed Reicchi." Said Kise and put on a sad face. Seeing him made Rei not bear to.

"Ha'i, ha'i, you can bribe me." Rei said that made Kise smile again.

While Kuroko and Kagami are getting hot to see the friendly scene in front of them. After they finished eating, they left the restaurant and Kise returned to wearing her disguise.

"Reicchi, I'll take you home." Say Kise.

"Is it okay? Don't you have to go home soon? You must be tired." Rei Said.

"We will take Rei-san home. You don't have to worry, Kise-kun." Kuroko.

"That's right. You better get home soon. We'll take care of him." Kagami.

They both intend to expel Kise in a subtle way. But Kise still did not leave.

"Go home, Kise-kun. I can go home with them." Rei said with a smile.

"If anything happens, call me right away, Reicchi. I'll be here soon." Say Kise.

Rei just nodded with a smile. Kise then left them. They then walked home together. There was only silence until Rei opened the conversation.

"Actually, what's wrong with you?" It was her words that made the two of them turn their eyes to her. "I've felt an ominous aura from you since Kise appeared. Do you guys not like it so much? Aren't you guys friends?" Further.

"We just don't like you getting too close to him." Kagami.

"Why?" Ask Rei.

They did not answer his question and only remained silent until they arrived at Rei's house. Before entering his house, Rei turned to face the two of them.

"Well, if you don't answer my question. I will not force. But I hope you'll be honest with me someday." Rei said and went into his house, while Kuroko and Kagami were silent. They each went home to their own homes.
