Chapter 39's

After making the deal, Kiseki no Sandai and Kagami rest in the guest room at Rei's house due to the late day. While Rei and Momoi slept in Rei's room.

Momoi took a bath first with warm water in the bathroom that was in Rei's room. After that it was Rei's turn to take a shower.

After a few minutes, Rei came out of the bathroom and saw Momoi sitting on the edge of her bed staring straight ahead with blank eyes.

'Is this because of Kuroko's statement? He must have been heartbroken.' Inner Rei then approached Momoi and patted her shoulder.

Momoi also realized from her daydream.

"Moho-san..." Call Rei.

"What's up, Rei-chan?" Ask Momoi.

"Daijoubu's? You were daydreaming, was there a problem?" Rei asked worriedly then sat down next to Momoi.

Momoi did not reply, but instead shifted her eyes.

"It must be because of Kuroko-kun, right? You still like him, don't you?" Ask Rei to make sure.

Momoi did not reply, she instead cried and hugged Rei. Rei then returned Momoi's embrace and tried to calm her down.

'This is my fault. Since I came to this world, I made Momoi sad. Am I not supposed to be in this world?' Inner Rei.

After Momoi regained her composure, she let go of her embrace and looked at Rei right in her eyes.

"Romance, Rei-chan. I'm crying." Momoi.

"I am the one who should apologize. Since I came to this world, I'm making you sad." Rei Said.

"What do you mean, Rei-chan? You're not from this world?" Momoi asked not understanding.

"Actually, I come from another world. And somehow, I can be in your world when I wish I could be in yours." Rei said and paused his words. "Gomen, because I came into this world. You should be sad because Kuroko-kun chose me. I shouldn't have come into this world." Further.

Momoi directly hugged Rei tightly.

"Don't talk like that. I'm glad you're here." Momoi said then released a hug and looked at Rei. "I gave up Tetsu-kun. I'm sure Tetsu-kun will be happy together with you, Rei-chan."

"You sure? But you love Kuroko-kun so much." Rei Said.

"I'm sure, as long as Tetsu-kun is happy." Momoi said with confidence.

"Moho-san..." Rei hugged Momoi. Momoi also hugged him back.

'Even though I came to this world just by chance, I am very happy that they all accepted me. I hope mom and dad are happy too even though we're not together anymore.' Inner Rei then a speck of tears flowed down his cheek.

As he released his embrace, he quickly wiped away the trace of his tears.

"Now let's go to sleep." Rei said with a smile.

"Before that, I wanted to know who Rei-chan liked. Who would you choose?" Momoi asked with sparkling eyes and a smile that showed that she was very curious about what she was asking.

"E-Eh! Didn't I tell you that I don't know who I chose?" Said Rei with a flushed face.

"Then, I'll change my question." Momoi said and thought. "What do you think they are?" Ask Momoi again.

"Em.in my opinion, Akashi-kun is a reliable person and has expertise in leading in his own way. He is also very smart and athletic, you could say he is perfect people. Well..even though she has a double personality and sometimes looks creepy, she's actually a good person." Rei Said.

"If Midorin?"

"He's a tsundere guy. I was so happy when I teased him. He was so funny when I managed to get a joke." Rei said with a chuckle remembering as he kissed Midorima first.

"Kise-kun is a cheerful person, I always feel happy when near him."

"If Muk-kun?"

"She was like a child because she looked so innocent. He also sometimes sucks because he's too honest. Really like a kid. I think he's unique."

"If Dai-chan?"

"Hentai!" Rei said then they laughed together. "But he has a soft side and sometimes we can understand what we want." Further.

"If Tetsu-kun?"

"When I was with him I felt comfortable. She's also very sweet and cute in my opinion."

"If Kagamin?"

"He is an independent person and also easily emotional. Even though he's a difficult person to keep his emotions in check, he's a person who really cares about his loved ones." Rei Said. "The point is, they are very extraordinary and have unique properties." Continue with a smile.

"That's it..." Momoi said while nodding her head in a sign of understanding.

"Now, let's go to bed. It's late." Rei then lay down and secured his position to sleep which Momoi followed.

The next morning, Rei got up first from them and headed to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.

As he descended to the 1st floor and headed for the kitchen, he saw Kagami who was in the kitchen and was cooking. He walked closer to her.

"Kagami-kun, why did you wake up so early? And why are you cooking? You should just rest." Said Rei who was already standing beside Kagami.

"I want to help you. I'm sure you'll wake up early and prepare breakfast for us when you'll also be very tired." Said Kagami who was still busy with his cooking.

"Arigatou, you are indeed very kind." Rei said with a happy smile. "I'll help." Further.

"No need, it's almost done." Kagami said then checked the soup he had made.

"But you're my guest. You shouldn't be the one..." Speech stopped as Kagami stood facing him and placed his index finger on Rei's lips.

"Ssh.I'm doing this because I really want to do it." Said Kagami then face closer to Rei. "You just sit there."He continued while distancing his face and pointing his chin at one of the chairs on the dining table and removing his index finger from Rei's lips.

Rei only blinked his eyes a few times and did not move from his position.

'His face was too close!' Inner Rei with a face that met with red.

Soon Kiseki no Sedai and Momoi arrived.

"What are you guys doing?" Midorima asked as she raised her glasses and looked suspiciously.

"I-Ie, nandemone." Rei tried to act normal.

Kiseki no Sedai stares suspiciously at Kagami and Rei, but Momoi soon normalizes things.

"Let's eat! I'm hungry." Momoi.

They all had breakfast together. But Kiseki no Sedai still harbors suspicions that something has happened between Kagami and Rei. They intend to question Kagami later.
