Chapter 9's

Papa Myabe was so surprised by the combination done by Kuroko and Kagami.

"Great as well. Kuroko's always been this great, huh?" Hyuga said as they sprinted back to their respective positions. "Is this because he's angry about being called a child?"

"It looks so." Kagami. "Maybe he'd like to say that don't talk if you've never fought them."

The first quarter is finished.

"Since Kuroko's ability has a time limit, we'll replace it now." Riko. "Because for a while, we have to save the power of Kuroko-kun, our offensive power (attacking) will be slightly reduced. But don't let them chase. Other than Papa Myabe, there were no other dangerous players on their team. That means, it all depends on how well Kagami-kun can cope with Papa Myabe. Can you do it?" Ask Riko.

In the second quarter, Kagami failed to stop Papa Myabe so he managed to score.

Kagami kept coming at Papa, again, again, and again. On the bench, team member Seirin who was on the bench was surprised by Kagami's incredible ability.

"Kuroko-kun, can you play the last five minutes?" Ask Riko.

"Ah, sorry. Then go!" Riko said as she stood up from the bench and pointed towards the field.

Seirin won the match 67-79. From the audience, Midorima was watching the game.

Papa Myabe then approached Kagami who tidied his goods on the bench.

"I lost. For my part, please fight as hard as you can in the next game." Papa Myabe.

"Huh? Ah, fine." Kagami.

"Where might I say that, stupid!" Papa Myabe's words were then pulled by Yusuke. "Otherwise, the next one I won't lose!" Said Papa Myabe while being pulled by Yusuke.

Because of Papa Myabe's words, Kagami felt very upset. Rei who realized that calmed him down.

"Not think about it." Rei's words that managed to make Kagami calm.

After fighting Shinkyo College, next Seirin High School fights Jitsuzen High School. Seirin's team managed to beat them with a score of 118-51 without losing Kuroko.

Then, their third match was against Kinga High School. But surprisingly, Seirin managed to beat them with a score of 71-92 without lowering Kuroko again.

Then, the fourth match was against Meijo College. They are the kids who were defeated yesterday by Kuroko, Kagami and Kise. They also beat Meijo College with a score of 108-41.

Seirin's team decides to watch the Shutoku High School game.

"They've come." Izuki.

"I'll say hello first." Kagami then stood up from the bench and approached Shutoku's team.

"Yes" Hyuga said unknowingly agreeing with Kagami's words.

'Midorima always carries lucky items. The lucky item today is a little teddy bear. Very cute.' Inner Rei then smiled.

Kagami stopped in front of Midorima.

"Yo. You're Midorima Shintaro, right?" Kagami.

"That's right, but who are you?" Midorima.

The question made the black-haired man hold back his laughter. Kagami puts his hand on Midorima.

"You want a handshake?" Ask Midorima.

Midorima then extended his left hand. Kagami then wrote down his name, his back number and the origin of the school. Rei who knew what was happening immediately approached them.

"Kagami-kun, don't be rude!" Rei Said.

"Huh? I'm not being rude. I just put my name in her hand so she can remember my name." Kagami.

"That's a brazen name." Rei then turned his eyes to Midorima. "I'm sorry for what he did, Midorima-kun. Please don't think about it."

Midorima then raised his glasses. The black-haired man came from behind Midorima.

"You're from Seirin, right?" The black-haired man asked Kagami. "Did your senpai say nothing?"

"You don't have to say it, Takao?" Rei said with a sharp look at Takao. "That's the past, we can make it a lesson. This year, it won't be the same as before."

"Wait a minute, how do you know my name?" Takao. "Am I that famous?" He posed and acted cool.

Rei who saw it instantly felt disgusted.

"Let's go back, Kagami-kun." Said Rei while pulling Kagami's arm.

"Hoi, hoi, I'm not done talking yet." Kagami.

"There's nothing to talk about anymore." Rei said in a cold tone without turning to him.

Kagami who heard it instantly kept silent and only followed Rei's footsteps. When they returned, no one spoke.

They also watch Shutoku match against Kinka. Shutoku wins a landslide victory against Kinka. After they finished watching, they went back to looking at the match schedule. Next, Seirin would fight Seiho then if they won then they would fight Shutoku. That means they will fight two of the three powerful kings.

SKIP TIME

The next day, during the break, Riko forced Kagami and Kuroko to bring two boxes of goods that contained large quantities of dvd.

"Our body is in pain. Coach this is the devil, huh?" Kagami said as they walked down the school corridor.

"If you don't want to take him, let me take him." Said Rei who was standing between Kagami and Kuroko."

"Life!!" Said Kagami who was shocked by Rei's sudden appearance.

Rei immediately picked up the box that Kagami was carrying, he immediately had trouble carrying it because it was too heavy.

"Let me. You won't be able to take him." Kagami said and immediately took back the box that Riko brought.

"You're not supposed to make a sweet girl carry such heavy stuff." Riko. "It's clearly your duty as men."

"I don't see any sweet girls here except one." Said Kagami while glancing at Rei.

"What do you mean I'm the sweet girl?" Said Riko while showing a cute pretentious face.

"Of course it's not you." Said Kagami then got a punch from Riko on his waist.

"By the way, what the hell is this?" Ask Kagami who saw the number of dvds in the box.

"That's the game from this year and last year that I transferred from the club room. It was to make a strategy, but our club room is too small. No wonder the numbers are so many because we will fight two kings in one day." Riko.

After which, all the members of Seirin's team watched the dvd together.

'There's something strange about their movements.' Inner Kagami while still paying attention to the tv screen.
