Become a Manager At Kuroko No Basket
Chapter 3

As Kuroko said yesterday, she picked Rei up to go to school together. During the trip, they just kept quiet. Rei decided to open the conversation first.

"Kuroko-kun, yesterday you actually wanted to tell us right if you wanted him to be your light?" Rei Said.

"How do you know?" Ask Kuroko.

"Actually, I've heard your conversation from the beginning and I then concluded it like that. Aren't we?"

"You're right"

"Today we will show Bakagami your true abilities." Said Rei fiery.

Kuroko simply nodded and smiled faintly at Rei's burning spirit.

SKIP TIME

Time for basketball club practice.

"Today we're going to hold a mini game between seniors and juniors." Riko.

A mini game between senior and junior. The junior team immediately attacked with Kagami doing a continuous dunk with the score led by the junior team. By the time Kuroko got the ball, it was stolen by the senior team.

'Kuroko, you can do it. Take out your real abilities.' Inner Rei was worried about Kuroko's state. He is now on the sidelines watching their game with Riko next to him who is the referee.

The senior team started counter-attacking by not letting Kagami touch the ball and score. The junior team was desperate. After a short break, the match resumed. Kuroko also showed his misdirection ability by passing to his team members so they can score and win the game against the senior.

"You did well." Rei said as he handed them a bottle of drink.

"Finally, you showed your ability. Good job." Rei said with a smile as he handed the bottle of drink to Kuroko.

"Thank you" Kuroko said as she received the bottle of drink Rei gave her.

"You guys for today got here enough. You can go home now!" Riko's orders.

They then return to the dressing room and change clothes, while Rei just sits on the bench with Riko to wait for Kuroko.

"Rei-chan, may I ask you a question?" Said Riko who made Rei avert his gaze which was originally staring straight at the field to be staring at Riko.

"What's up, senpai?" Ask Rei.

"Actually, what's the connection between you and Kuroko?"

"Friends only"

"You must have known about his misdirection ability, right? Why didn't you say anything?"

"I know it, but I have no right to say it because I'm just his friend. Although, I've known that ability a long time ago and have always paid attention to him from afar." Rei said as he stared straight at the field as if glaring.

Rei so remembered when he was always in the room watching various kinds of anime when he came home from school to. Finally, he became very fond of Kuroko no Basket anime from the many anime he watched.

The locker room door opened and the seniors came out, Kuroko came out last with Kagami next to her. Kuroko then approached Rei.

"Let's go home, Rei-san." Kuroko. Rei just smiled and stood up from the bench.

"We go first yes, senpai." Rei Said.

Riko smiled and went out of the gym and locked the door while Hyuga was waiting outside. They also went home together.

Rei and Kuroko who had already left were stopping for a while at the burger maji to relieve their hunger.

Rei orders a burger and vanilla milkshake while Kuroko orders a vanilla milkshake. They sat by the window and enjoyed their order. They sit next to each other.

It looks like Kagami is entering the burger maji and ordering a lot of burgers. He then sat in front of Kuroko and Rei without realizing they were sitting in front of him. As he ate his burger, he almost choked.

"Hello" Kuroko said while Rei was just enjoying her burger.

"Since when?! What are you doing here?!" Kagami.

"I love this vanilla milkshake restaurant." Kuroko.

"I'm also hungry and lazy to cook so I decided to eat here with him." Rei said as he pointed his thumb at Kuroko who was sitting next to him.

"But, since when have you been invisible to me." Said Kagami while pointing his index finger at Rei. "Is it because you're with her so much that you're getting invisible?"

Rei seemed to be thinking.

"That's possible." Rei Said.

"Now that you're getting out of here, I don't want anyone to see us and think we're friends." Kagami.

"No, we're the first ones here. You have no right to kick us out." Rei Said.

"Yes, yes, whatever." Said Kagami then resumed eating as well as Rei and Kuroko who again enjoyed the order.

After they finished eating, they went home together.

"Kiseki no Sedai is it as strong as what? If I challenge them now, what do you think?" Ask Kagami.

"Just kill yourself." Kuroko.

"Your words really can't get a little?" Upset Kagami.

"But it's true. If we compare your level and theirs, you're a long way off. They can't be underestimated." Rei Said.

Kuroko nodded and agreed with Rei.

"The five talented players decided to go on to different schools. But despite the different schools, those five people will still be the greatest." Kuroko.

"That's fascinating. I got excited. I've decided, I'll beat them all and be the best player in Japan." Kagami.

"I think that's impossible." Kuroko.

"Woi!" Upset Kagami.

Rei took a step and stood before the two of them so they had to stop their steps.

"Listen Kagami-kun, it would be impossible if you were alone. But if you're with Kuroko as your shadow, then it might happen." Rei said with a serious face. He looked at Kuroko. "Kuroko-kun, did you agree to be Kagami's shadow?"

"I agree" Kuroko said.

Rei turned to look at Kagami. "Kagami-kun, do you agree to be a light to Kuroko?"

"Do as you please." Kagami.

"Then it's decided. And one more thing, I will always support you until you succeed." Rei said with a smile.

Kuroko and Kagami's faces met red to see Rei's smile. Unfeeling, they had already reached Rei's house.

"Thank you for driving me home." Rei Said.

"It doesn't matter, after all you're a girl and a girl isn't good to walk home alone at night, it's very dangerous." Kagami.

"I'll pick you up again tomorrow Rei-san." Kuroko.

Rei nodded and entered his house. He went straight to his room and lay down on his bed.

"So, how's dad doing now? I hope he's okay." Rei began to close his eyes and head towards dreamland.
