Forced Marriage: Thirteenth Wife

Forced Marriage: Thirteenth Wife
12. Foreign Men

Roxanne had spent a week searching for a book called Narendra in the library, but by God that one name was very hard to find.

Even Roxanne began to dismantle the shelves one by one because she thought she missed something, but during the night she stayed up there, Narendra's name was not visible.

Where exactly was the book put?

On the eighth day of the search, Roxanne felt tired of herself. He decided not to go to the library today rather than break his head looking at books again.

Roxanne is careful out for a walk in the front yard. It was confirmed that Elios was not outside, but was on his floor.

But instead, he met someone else.

"What are you doing?"

He's a man. Wearing a fancy dress with a rose accent on her clothes.

Roxanne looked up in amazement at the man's good looks. Although different from Elios, he also looks very handsome and charismatic.

"You hear?"

Roxanne.

"No." In a hurry he shook his head. "I mean, no. Didn't do anything."

On Roxanne's lap were a number of rose stalks that she picked up. Thanks to that, the rose thorns colored Roxanne's hands, but she didn't know what to do in the world without a cell phone and without this job, so Roxanne ended up picking the thorny roses instead.

"I saw you doing something." The man smiled a little. Bend her body a little to see more roses in Roxanne's lap. "Let me guess, flower arrangement?"

Roxanne laughed awkwardly as well as embarrassed. At this age even play flowers, must be embarrassing and childish.

"Great result. But, it seems you hurt your own hand. You all right?"

Just this time Roxanne meets a gentle person who looks harmless in this place. Makes Roxanne kind of feel weird, though not in a bad sense.

"Yes, I'm fine." Roxanne held her flower arrangement and stood up. "But who are you? Sorry, I'm new so don't know everyone."

The man smiled even a little. Even though it makes him so handsome, why does he not answer and even just smile?

"What's your name, Young Madam?"

Young madam? Wait, does he know Roxanne's married?

"R-Roxanne's." Suddenly, it scared Roxanne.

"Sorry, I have to go so see you." Let's just go before something unwanted happens.

At least, that's what Roxanne wanted when she turned around, ready to pass but ended up tripping.

Roxanne's breath is blocked by real fear now. His eyes opened wide staring at the figure who some time ago threw a dagger at the book, calling Roxanne a disgusting rat bully.

Wh why? Why did Elios come out?

Earlier the waiter said Elios was resting in his room so he shouldn't have—

"What behavior did you show your wife, Elios?" The foreign man had suddenly stood beside Roxanne, extending a hand to her. "Stand, Roxanne. Don't be so scared."

Roxanne is more afraid instead of feeling calm because of it.

He's a stranger to Roxanne. He doesn't know who he is. That's why for Roxanne, Elios in front of her is more important and scary.

"Sorry." Roxanne bowed her head to Elios without receiving the stranger's welcome. "I didn't know you were out. Excuse me. I'm sorry."

If he wanted Roxanne to bow down now, he would prostrate as long as it saved his life. So please, please at least today don't think of killing.

If Roxanne dies, then everything she fought for is in vain. He was not willing to die unless he was happy enough after fighting.

While Roxanne was trembling in fear, Elios looked at her expressionlessly. There was no interest in Elios in the apology or the trembling body.

It's useless for him to care.

"Elios Desnomia Yasa." The man gave Elios his full name with emphasis. "Help your wife awake, now."

Elios was peeking at the man.

Desnomia Yasa, she said? Desnomia was not the name of Elios at birth but was given by this man as a clear insult.

Outcasts. That's what Desnomia means. The one who gets punished.

"Hey." Elios turned to Roxanne. "Wake up."

He woke up despite the trembling. And Elios doesn't care because the point is he's up from the ground.

Satisfied, right?
