Forced Marriage: Thirteenth Wife

Forced Marriage: Thirteenth Wife
27. The Perfect Life

Roxanne leaves Elios' side as soon as the clock points to twelve p.m. This was the first time Roxanne came out of the room at night, as she usually fell asleep in the chair to watch over Elios.

At night, Elios is sometimes like a seizure. He sometimes awoke from his sleep and was short of breath, then shouted until Graean came to give him a sedative injection.

Roxanne did not want to go down to her room, but went to the room she had once seen.

In this quiet night, let alone Graean already sleeping and Elios being quite calm, Roxanne planned to sneak in the forbidden room.

I do not love Elios at all, Roxanne whispered to him. But he seems to know that I'm planning on making him love me.

From the beginning, he knew that Roxanne's greed was not only about money but also Elios. Roxanne does think so, because if the owner of everything loves Roxanne, he does not need to beg anymore to have everything anyway.

Pests like you should be self-aware.

"Hama, huh?"

Roxanne looks up at the giant painting at the place, realizing that it is indeed just a pest when compared to Eirene.

"I'd believe he said it was just an artificial being."

He looks perfect without flaws.

Her hair was silver like Graean, but it looked more beautiful from all sides. Her eyes were big, her lips were thin and her smile was very sweet.

She's a blend of beautiful, graceful, sweet and beautiful. Maybe he's a real angel.

"But in the end it's dead" Roxanne said in silence.

He turned away from the painting, and turned away from his envy.

If he was still alive, it was clear he would be a huge mountain of obstructions. Moreover, it turns out that in the Narendra family, brother status is not at all a barrier to love.

They can live as brothers and lovers without any conflict.

But in fact, Eirene was dead. So he was not a barrier at all except just a piece of shadow.

At least that's what Roxanne thought until she held a skesta book from a casual table by the window.

Roxanne was sitting in a long chair that was designed to be worn while Elios sat holding his pencil.

The moonlight broke through the window, making the room neither dark nor too bright.

First page, second page, third page, fifth, tenth, twenty, thirty. Even in the next book, then the next and the next.

This book seems to show how obsessed and longed Elios is with Eirene.

"It's fucked up." Roxanne comments on one of the pages with abstract scribbles that litter Eirene's facial sketch.

It was as if Elios had become very angry and frustrated while drawing it and then doodling it himself.

Roxanne put all those skesta books down, turned to a box of some sort of folded paper. Roxanne took one of them and read Elios' neat writing there.

...What are you doing?...

"The lucky girl." Roxanne muttered between the darkness of her expression.

He tries to open another paper, only to find the same sweet writing.

...Eri, I drew a golden rose in my newest painting....

"Eri." Roxanne smiled wryly. "Why can I even imagine this? Though it should be hard to imagine that madman calling someone so soft."

But, Roxanne could even think about it.

Envision Elios smiling as bright as the sun, welcoming his twin and lover. Then he would say, "Eri," while stretching out his hand.

Hugged the pretty girl.

"Not everyone lives as comfortably as you, Eri." Roxanne throws the paper back into her box, reluctant to read any further.

He laid his body on the couch Elios might have used every time he thought of the girl.

Roxanne stared at the expanse again. Clenched his hands over his stomach and bit his lips.

Not only was she born into a family that loved her, Irene was even loved by her lover after she died.

What a perfect life.
