Forced Marriage: Thirteenth Wife
I Missed you

Roxanne let out a tired breath. "Don't I tell you not to come to me again?"

But Eris just stayed by the door.

"I think First Young Master has promised not to tell you this place."

Eris easily replied, "I don't need to be told by Arkas to know where you are."

Well, Roxanne expected it, anyway. But Roxanne still doesn't care. He walked, intending to pass Eris.

Roxanne had just stepped out the door, when Eris suddenly pulled her. A pair of arms hugged Roxanne's body tightly.

"I miss you." Eris murmured. "When do you want to be cold? How long have you ignored me?"

Roxanne's gaze was just cold.

"I'll apologize as much as you want. I can kneel down even begging for my mistakes you forgive me, so please don't take too long."

Very amusing. The one who made a demon like Sanya uncomfortable had just begged the puppet that Sanya was playing with. Am I that good, huh? Well, I'm starting to be proud, Roxanne murmured to him but more impressed cynical.

"What's the fun playing with me?" Roxanne. "Young Master, you know? Someone once told me that we would only be attracted to someone who is equal or above us. And the only ones who are entitled to have are those who are equal."

"Roxanne's."

"In other words, the rich only deserve the rich. Handsome people only deserve beautiful girls. Such a system was taught to me, but I rejected it. I said it's not fair."

Roxanne laughs.

"But now I agree." The woman stared intently at Eris who could only be shut in to see the darkness. "Indeed a man as great as you deserve a ugly, duck-brained, carrion-hearted girl like me? It's inappropriate to be fast away from me."

"Roxanne's." Eris suddenly pulled her hand until the embrace was released.

Roxanne's position turned around, but she was more surprised when Eris placed the palm over her ribs.

"I might be a liar. Right, I lie to myself very often." Eris's hand pressed down firmly on Roxanne's hand there. "But who am I to manage my own heartbeat?"

Roxanne could feel. Something that beats above the normal limits in Eris's body.

"I'm at least sure I'm not lying." Eris hugged him back. Keeping Roxanne warm as if wanting to pass the touch her feelings channeled. "I miss you, very much. I thought about you many times."

"Then?" Roxanne. "Then why?"

"If your heart beats because of me, then why? If you miss me, then why? Tell me, Dwi."

Eris took her hand off Roxanne. "You don't forgive me, do you?"

"Ignore? What is your fault?" Roxanne replied colderly. "You don't feel wrong about me, do you? What mistakes should be forgiven?"

"So you want me to feel guilty?"

"For what? Waste of time." Roxanne turned around. "It's just about me not wanting to spend any more wasted time with you. It's not about wrong or not. So stop coming to apologize."

Roxanne quickened her pace. Even if he had reached Elios' building later, Eris would have been impossible to disturb him.

Well, if Roxanne could make it. Unfortunately, it was back blocked. This time by a red-haired woman who was smiling was full of frightening impressions. Wh who?

"You're not greeting me, Roxanne?"

A greeting? Who is he?

"I don't know you."

"Not know me, dad?" The woman stepped closer to Roxanne. His slightly higher height above Roxanne allowed him to freely stare low.

His hostility is not hidden. Roxanne had only met someone like this for the first time other than Elios.

"I—"

"Skala."

Roxanne blinked to see Arkas running towards them with a breath of breath. It seems he ran far enough to come here.

"Arc." The woman looked at Arkas annoyed. "I'm not something you have to chase every time."

Alright. That's enough to prove. He must be Arkas' brother.

"No. I told you not to hang around today." Arkas held the hand of the woman named Askala. "Let's go. It's time to rest."

Suddenly he saw Roxanne. "But my business is not done yet."
