14. All Just Games

Roxanne is very curious about Arkas and Elios' relationship. He was eager to know why they were fighting and what did this mean for the land of Arcas, not Elios?

But, Roxanne was afraid to ask. So he could just keep following Arkas walking, not knowing where to go.

"You," Arkas suddenly opened his voice, "the new wife of Elios? The one Aunt just brought?"

"Auntie?" Roxanne.

"His mother Elios. That's my aunt."

Then they're not siblings?

"You don't seem to know Narendra at all." Arkas invites Roxanne to sit on a park bench, right near the koi fish pond.

While sitting there, Arkas took fish feed to throw.

"I'm Narendra's first child. Absolute heir. In our family, all children born in the same generation are bound as siblings, so Elios is arguably my sibling as well. Of course, not literally."

Roxanne still doesn't understand.

"As the first child of this generation, I will absolutely lead Narendra. Therefore, you could say I'm also Elios' superior."

Arkas. "That's why I have the authority to expel him from our family."

Looks like she told Roxanne to have Roxanne ask. Well, then, can't it be that Roxanne's been questioning things a little while she's been thinking?

"Why?" Roxanne stared at the koi fish fighting over food to at least be calm. "Why was Young Master Elios banished?"

"Because he did something wrong."

I mean Roxanne, what a mistake was made to the point that she was even named for an insult.

"I think it's something I don't want to say so I can't tell you."

Arkas also looked at the koi fish after throwing them food again.

"Obviously, in our two hundred years of history, Elios was the first to make that mistake. A mistake too big."

It made Roxanne even more curious.

"Basically we Narendra did nothing wrong. All of us were taught from a very young age that apologizing was a fragrance and doing wrong could be done, because Narendra could do anything."

Arkas smiled wryly.

"But the boy no longer made a mistake. He committed a sin too great for Narendra. That's why I threw it here. And it seems that instead of realizing a mistake or regretting, he's getting more arrogant."

"Will Young Master be forgiven one day, Young Master?"

Arkas immediately turned his head as if Roxanne's question was strange.

But, he answered her very firmly. "No. It won't be able to. His Yasa name is already attached. He can't be Narendra anymore."

The sins that a person makes until he is wasted, what exactly? It must not just be stealing the family's treasured possessions or harming their business.

"I can't apologize to you because it's not okay for me, but Roxanne, I'm not happy with where you are here."

Whahuh?

"I mean," Arkas sighed, "i was just like I was watching someone being played with. I forbid the boy to have a wife from the farm, which is why Aunt Medea brought an outsider like you."

"For what?" Roxanne didn't realize she was asking. "Actually for what? The young master did not call me to his room. Even said I didn't want to see me. Then why?"

The man observed Roxanne's face for a moment. Suddenly he got up, stood by the pool and began to throw back his fish food into the middle of the pond.

"That's why I said game. All for Elios."

"You mean nothing?"

"You can say."

Whahuh? That easy he allowed? So it really means nothing even if Roxanne wears their diamond and receives some money?

Not even for a satiating device?

"It doesn't make sense!" Roxanne didn't realize that she was standing up and screaming.

"The world is not this good to me! You want to say that you gave me everything even though I mean nothing? It's bullshit! Stop lying to me!"

A moment after, Roxanne turned pale. Oh, my God, why is he screaming?!

But Roxanne is made to flinch when Arkas chuckles. "It just doesn't make sense."

Whahuh?

"Then, Roxanne, this is not in vain." Arkas put the fish feed back into place. "Auntie gathered many women for Elios to have Elios interested in them, at least one of you."

"If you can't attract attention, then Auntie will look for a new one. It's that simple."
