"Roxenne!" Elios came and knelt to him. It was as if he was trying to protect Roxanne from Askala.

Of course, the sight left Roxanne shocked. Moreover, a vase suddenly floated up and hit Elios' head.

"Huh, stop acting!" shouts Askala, much different from Roxanne's shadow of him being cold. "Pretend to care about your wife when you only imagine the dead! If only you hadn't acted, Arkas wouldn't have had to meet you!"

Askala went on a rampage while being held captive by his bodyguards. Meanwhile, Roxanne trembles to see blood fall from Elios' head.

Wh why? Why would he protect Roxanne? As As Askala said, he was just a pitiful man haunted by his twin sister.

"You hurt?" Elios, without his usual blindfold, held both of Roxanne's upper arms carefully.

His gaze looked tired as well as fragile. As if he felt guilty. "Let's go."

Roxanne's mouth suddenly dried up. Inevitably now he remembered all of Elios' efforts. He's the one who strangled Roxanne, but he's the one who apologized for all of that.

She closed her eyes because she no longer wanted Roxanne to cheat, pretending to be Eirene when she was dead. But when the fire broke out, Elios protected him as well. Find Roxanne and make sure she's hurt or not.

She ... does she really feel guilty? But after all, did he really feel guilty?

"Roxanne's."

Roxanne was shocked.

"Let's go." Elios helped her even though she herself grimaced. "Come on. Hurry up."

Roxanne has her mouth. Silence followed Elios while Askala continued to destroy Roxanne's entire room.

"Mrs Roxanne was seriously injured, Young Master." The doctor who examined Roxanne also told Elios. "Most likely there was a new crack in his bone. I put up a restraint while waiting for the X-ray."

Roxanne. I finally couldn't hold back those tears.

Perhaps it should have been much earlier that he believed in Elios. After all, he had believed from the beginning that Elios could not apologize, humble, love him if it was all a lie.

"My wife." Elios wiped the tears on Roxanne's cheek. "Don't cry. I know everything's heavy, but everything's gonna be back to normal once our castle's done."

We were? What does it mean that when they get back, Roxanne will live better? Did ya?

"Come here." Elios opened his arms, bringing Roxanne into a heartfelt warm embrace. "In your heart, I swear to God that I will take care of you. All of you, wives, I swear I'll take care of you. I swear."

Roxanne clutched Elios's clothes with her one uninjured hand.

For some reason, at that moment he shouted loudly, crying for everything.

"Everything's gathered?" Mariana made sure that the entire face of Elios' wife was present, except for Roxanne in the room.

Because of Askala's incident, all of Elios' wives were moved to the basement. Of course not in the cell, but in a regular room that can be used as a bedroom but at least minimize the possibility of Askala coming.

"Just listen. The Young Master wants us all to have Roxanne speak up and accept her as our sister" Mariana said. "understand? Make him believe that we suffer the same."

Diane simply stared blankly at the air, thinking about this situation.
