Forced Marriage: Thirteenth Wife

Forced Marriage: Thirteenth Wife
17. Hysterical Jerseys

Roxanne has so far bagged some information although not the most important thing.

First, the position of the wife whom Elios loved was vacant and Graean was not as privileged as his title of first wife.

Second, there was something big behind Elios's banishment to this place and it sparked Arkas's outrage. Perhaps, one way of 'licking' Elios was to help him restore the self-esteem that Arkas broke.

Finally, Elios was threatened by Arcas with something big enough that Elios would no longer kill his wife.

Perhaps, it should be emphasized. Might as well.

With this, Roxanne was finally able to make a move.

By midnight Roxanne left her room. Trying as slow as possible to climb up to the top floor, at least now must know where Elios' room is.

Yeah, Roxanne doesn't know. But this is a chance to find out because Graean is not in this residence. He told me the location of the wedding was in Papua, so he decided to stay overnight with Arkas' permission.

"It's gotta be around here somewhere." Roxanne turned around, convinced that Elios' room must be on the fourth floor.

The highest floor, so it must be here, right?

"The most luxurious door. Surely his room has the most— door"

"What are you doing?"

Damnit damnit!

Roxanne almost screams in shock if she does not immediately cover her own mouth with her hands. He was so surprised that suddenly someone spoke to him, in the hallway of a strange castle, in the middle of the night.

But, Roxanne's shock instantly turned confused.

Foreign face. If not wrong, he was there when Roxanne first came. He bowed to his mother Elios and said 'we welcome, Madam'.

"Ah, you are the new wife of the Young Master." The woman muttered expressionlessly, almost the same as Diane. "You're looking for Young Master's room?"

Where'd he know?

"There were more than ten wives here, back then, so it would be stupid if I didn't memorize. Your actions didn't just see me." The woman turned around. "Dries. Let me show you the direction. That part ain't the bedroom."

This one castle is too broad. Roxanne gets lost in two minutes.

But, since she was similar to Diane, Roxanne followed suit. After all, Elios' wives have so far never shown any hostility.

They are more like indifference than jealousy.

"What's your name?" ask Roxanne, at least some pleasantries.

Roxanne obediently locked her mouth. Decide later to ask.

After walking for a while, the woman suddenly stopped. He turned around, while his hands pointed towards the front there.

"Find it out yourself" he said, growing silent. "Don't make a fuss."

The woman turned towards the direction they came from earlier, a sign she was leaving after showing her the way.

I think in this place helping each other is a must, but too helpful also should not.

Roxanne sighed because once again she was helped just for the start.

Always not clear. But, this is good enough.

Roxanne continued her own steps in the direction the woman pointed at, slowly so as not to make a sound.

The doors around were the focus of Roxanne's attention. He was sure that the door of the Young Master's room was the most magnificent door.

There may be gold in the carvings or even diamonds, Roxanne said in her mind.

One door to another. Keep going and keep going until Roxanne finds a door open but so dark.

The door has no gold or diamond engraving. It looks like an ordinary door. Even so, since it was open, Roxanne was wary.

Slowly he approached the door, trying hard not to make a sound.

His outstretched hand touched the surface of the door as smoothly as possible. Just leaned his head to peek when suddenly a big hand strangled him.

"Pests suck."

In that instant, Roxanne's hysterical shriek dyed the entire castle.

Meanwhile, the woman who led Roxanne there was already on the second floor. The woman looked up, smiling subtly at the empty air.

Looks like someone's gonna die tonight.

After all this time.
