After getting some quiet time, Eris remembers that she had to fly to Papua to meet Sanya. But Eris doesn't know why it's so hard for her to leave Roxanne.

It's not that Eris is afraid Elios is coming back to hurt Roxanne. Not because Eris was afraid of something else. Eris just doesn't want to. He won't leave Roxanne's side. But he also had to go to see Sanya. It's his job to eliminate everything that's bothering this family.

"What do you remember?"

Roxanne looked at Eris and frowned again. "Don't know. I'm confused."

Either Eris should be grateful Roxanne is still confused and does not immediately hate him or instead he should be worried.

"I feel like I have to meet Sanya" Roxanne murmured. "Where is Sanya? He should be here."

"Recover yourself just met Sanya."

"There's a promise I made with Sanya" Roxanne said. "I don't remember it but I know there is. I need to talk about it."

Since then Roxanne did not mention the incident that night. Eris doesn't know if she still needs time to remember it or if she chooses to pretend not to.

"You're not looking for Elios?" ask Eris, picking straight at the point. "There's nothing you want to talk to Elios about?"

"You worried?" diane asked as she watched Elios who was silent by the window. He seemed to have been waiting for something for the past few days but didn't get it.

"Eris hasn't left yet" Elios replied. "He didn't kill Sanya, that's my guess. If he doesn't kill her, then he's holding Sanya. And if he held her back, Eris wouldn't leave Sanya for too long especially after knowing Askala was there."

"Didn't Miss Askala and you work together? You must have gotten Sanya back."

"The scale of wanting Roxanne's or Eris's life as payment, my wife." Elios. "A scale hates to gamble so he doesn't like to do anything uncertain. I didn't kill Eris or Roxanne, so Sanya didn't come back. It's that simple."

"But surely Sanya was also trying to do something." Diane approached Elios. Touching his hand that was secretly clenched from the strain. "If not, you have me. Sacrificing me means getting your name back."

Elios looked down, kissing Diane's lips.

"My wife, your husband loves gambling" he whispered. "So different from Askala, I bet on risk. I'll get both of them without sacrificing you."

But for that Elios needs a variable. Something that wasn't supposed to happen but it did.

Anything. Sanya managed to escape, Roxanne suddenly died or whatever it was. Anything that shouldn't but it happens.

That way Elios can move. Elios hates gambling the most with the universe because he really can't predict anything that happens. But now it's the only hope.

The doctor said his memory would recover slowly, without the need for coercion at all. For now Roxanne has no memory of what happened, but her feelings say she has no need to meet Elios.

Roxanne just needs to meet Sanya. I don't know what it's for but her heart says it has to meet Sanya.

"Rather than that, Eris," said Roxanne observing the man by the side of the bed, "what do you want to attend the party for?"

He was dressed a bit too grand to just sit by Roxanne's side. But he just kept sitting there, not leaving.

"I have to go to Papua," answered Eris honestly, also ignoring how Roxanne no longer calls him Young Master. "But I'm hard leaving you now."

"Papua? What's in Papua?"

".... Something."

"Then go and do your job." Roxanne frowned. "Don't make me an excuse. Go."

"I'm trying" replied Eris. "Since I told myself to leave, but I still want to be here."

"Why—"

"You may forget anything but ...." Eris put her hand back into Roxanne's hand. "I hope you don't forget that I love you, Roxanne."

Roxanne gnaws stiffly. "I—"

Eris shook her head uneasily. "You forgot it."

"But—"

Roxanne's words could not be finished when her body was suddenly pulled in the arms. Eris hugged him as if she could no longer let go of Roxanne but she also did not make him feel any pain.

"I lost to you" whispered the man weakly. "It's scary to think I lost you too. I swear I didn't hurt you again so please don't forget me."

Roxanne feels guilty because she really doesn't know what Eris is talking about.
