episode 106 The First Ritual
The king called grandfather by Refald kept staring at us in turn with a fluffy smile. The radiance of happiness was engraved clearly on the face of his servant which I could not understand at all. “Lafeysionara.” that's how Grandpa Refald called my full name. I'm sure, Grandfather Refald also knew everything related to me even though I didn't tell him. “You are the bride of my favorite granddaughter, are you ready for this wedding? I hope your answer is ‘iya’!”.

This marriage, is not an ordinary marriage as happens to ordinary people in general. You must perform a supernatural marriage in accordance with the agreement that Refald has promised in exchange for the lives of both of you to stay alive.”
“Yang Noble ..” I said suddenly because I can't wait to find out what really happened.
“Call me grandfather only, you will also soon be my grandson. Tell me what's up?” grandfather Refald interrupted me for disagreeing if I called him ‘the noble’.
“I'm sorry if I'm presumptuous, Cake. But ... I still don't understand the meaning of the agreement that grandfather spoke of just now? May I know? Because Refald didn't tell me. And honestly, I don't understand at all, what does that deal have to do with our lives or this marriage?”
Grandfather Refald only smiled after staring at Refald who was still silent without a sound. I even doubt myself whether the man next to me is still breathing or not. Refald did not move after his grandfather told him to stand up.
“She will tell you once you've finished performing the whole ritual of this supernatural wedding. For a while, just follow what I instructed. You've agreed to this marriage, so I'm asking you to do all the rituals until you're done first, and then you'll get the explanation you asked for. Although heavy-hearted because I did not get the answer I wanted, I still agree with what Grandpa Refald said.
“The first ritual that you will do is, a flush of 7 flowers that I have prepared. After the first ritual is over, then I will explain the next ritual. Now, you two come with me.” Grandpa Refald turned around and led us towards the outside of his palace.
Refald walked up to me and followed behind his grandfather without looking at me again. While I, too, walked behind Refald. I stared at my future husband's back with a million questions, one of which was why Refald wouldn't look at me anymore. Does he not like this marriage? Are there any other consequences that we would have to accept if this so-called unseen marriage happened?
All of my questions were frustrating enough to never find the answer. I don't know why, I suddenly feel sad. Though it should be, I am glad to be happy because soon, I will be the wife of Refald even if only unseen. To be honest, this is not the kind of marriage I want.
Did Refald think the same of me? I don't know, I don't know either because Refald still doesn't want to see me.
Finally, we arrived at a beautiful garden filled with various kinds of blooming flowers. The smell of the flower pierced my nose so sharply that I felt a little relaxed when I saw and smelled all the fragrant colorful flowers that bloomed in this garden.
Without protest or resistance, Refald entered the pool and stood facing his grandfather. He instantly fused his two palms together in front of his chest while closing his eyes. Inevitably, I followed Refald's steps and did the same as Refald did while closing my eyes.
I could feel the warmth of this pool water and it seemed like someone was dousing my head with water mixed with the petals of the flowers. I'm guessing, the one who splashed the water was Grandpa Refald himself.
“Open your eyes,” Grandpa Refald orders again once the flush ritual is done.
Slowly, I opened my eyes and was surprised to see a beautiful woman standing in front of me. Without warning, my tears immediately came out and poured down my cheeks as soon as I knew who the woman was.
That woman is the one I have missed so much. I couldn't even speak at once in disbelief because somehow, I was able to get back to meeting the most meaningful woman in my life. The figure of a woman, which is the reason for my existence in this country. That woman .. is my mother. I will never forget the face of the woman who gave birth to me. It's not wrong, and I'm sure it's not a dream. Now I can see my mother. My mother is in front of me.
“I-mom ...,” isakku while holding back my tears when calling the word ‘Ibu’. A word I have never mentioned in years.

It is indescribable how happy I am to see my mother again. Even happier was my own mother who stood by me at a crucial moment in my life. For a moment, I became grateful to undergo this supernatural wedding ritual. Because, thanks to this supernatural marriage, I could see my mother back even though we were different.
