episode 38 Strange Things

After I finished washing my face in the river, I intended to return to my tent to put my belongings back in and get ready to welcome my comrades and juniors. From a distance, I saw some people running towards me. The longer, the closer we got to knowing who these people were. They are Mia and Cheap. Whether there was any wind, the two ran down the alley like they were chasing something.

“You two have arrived?” I asked Mia and Nura who looked tired with gasping breath. “What are you doing? You guys are just being chased by ghosts!”

Mia sat down while trying to catch her breath. He tried to tell them why they ran up like that.

“Nura .. her ...” Mia's breath is still unstable. But he kept trying to explain what happened. “Nura said she saw a strange figure in this forest earlier. So, we ran as fast as we could."

I was a bit surprised to hear an explanation from Mia, but I tried to calm those who still looked frightened. “That's just Nura's delusion. As long as I'm here nothing happens? And I've never seen anything as strange as you're talking about.”

“But the creature was so creepy once!” Nura is still trying to convince me to trust her.

“You may be tired. And we're in the woods. That's why you imagine seeing a non-figure. You said you'd seen a dragon. Where are such animals here? You see fantasy movies too often so you imagine like this when you're somewhere you think is creepy.”

“Fey is right, Nura. Maybe you were just imagining.” Mia finally confirmed me.

“But ...”Nura was still very sure that what he saw was true and real.

”Already! Clean yourself up there! And tipped please bring this to my tent that is next to it.” I showed a medium-sized blue tent while handing over my toiletries to Nura. “Rest there! I'll check the others have come what not.”

“Whose tent is it?” asked Nura confused.

“That's our tent. The seniors who made it for me.”

Mia and Nura stood up and walked gontai towards our tent. I looked at them with a smile, “There's only Nura. Basic coward!”But I still think about what Nura said just now. “May it be just a delusion of Nura.”.

I walked a bit far to see if Yua et al and all the juniors had arrived yet. Hope nothing happens. Actually, I don't have to worry about them getting lost, because those juniors also left together and were escorted by my classmates as well as our coach. So, there's nothing to be afraid of anymore.

As I took a few steps out of the entrance of the location, I suddenly heard Nura's voice and Mia screamed very loudly. Then not long after, they came out of the tent while running quickly and shouting as loud as possible to surprise everyone who was here. Even those who were still asleep also followed out of the tent while running also because they panicked to think something bad happened.

I myself immediately turned back and greeted the two of them who were running towards me.

“What's up? What the hell's going on? Why yell?”I asked to panic.

“There's a corpse!” yelled Nura and Mia together.

All of us here were shocked. So do I.

“Where?”

“There! Inside your tent!” Nura pointed at the blue tent.

I still can't believe what my friend said. Because last night, I was the only one in that tent. Even this morning when I left, I also saw no one else but myself. Except for Refald, that's why he's standing outside the tent.

“Nobody in that tent!” I calmed down my two friends who looked panicked and frightened.

“But we both saw bodies there!” Nura. “If you don't believe you can check for yourself!”

The alumni and some seniors came to us and asked what was going on. Actually I'm not sure how I explain before I make sure for myself whether what these two friends are saying is true or not. Because since then, they seem to be haunted by things that I think are very unreasonable. Starting from Nura who saw a strange figure and now a corpse. It's hard for me to trust him right away.

We slowly approached the blue tent. I gathered all my courage to enter my tent.

“Fey! Careful!”yoshi and I nodded slowly.

Everyone looked at me with tension. Everything was silent even I could hear their breaths. In my heart, I cursed Nura if what she said was wrong.

I opened the tent wide and everyone was getting more worried. As soon as the tent opened, all shuddered in horror even some of the girls immediately shouted because they saw someone lying on their back to us while covering his body with my blanket.

Aye right. The blanket that had been folded neatly on my bag, now used by that person to cover his body. The question is, how did that happen? And who covered my blanket on that guy? I haven't even got back to my tent.

I am confused by this incident. Who that guy is and why my blanket could be worn by him. It was true that the person had already died just like Nura and Mia had said. Because as far as we could see, that person also didn't move at all when he heard us stir up himself to see it. But I still ventured and threw away all my negative thoughts, as well as the others.

“Did you put that blanket on her?” ask Yoshi.

I'm shaking. “Not me! I haven't been able to return to the tent since the river. I just got here after Nura and Mia screamed to see this guy. I don't know who put my blanket on her?” my words are a little upset also at the person who puts my blanket carelessly on others without permission.

“If it wasn't you, then who put it on that guy? Could it be that the person was wearing it himself before it became like that?”

“Can be so!” we all look at each other.

Me and some alumni agreed to enter the tent together to check who this person was and how he was doing. Alex goes first, then I go next and Yoshi and Joni follow behind. We went in slowly and approached the person who looked like the corpse at first glance.

“You open that blanket!” yoshi said to me.

“What? Why should I?”honestly, I'm a little scared.

“You are the owner of this blanket!”

“But you're a boy too? Cook you got a woman to do this? Just tell me you're scared!”accuse me.

“I'm not afraid ... just not used to opening someone else's blanket. What if she's naked?”

After the blanket was fully opened, we were all shocked to find out who it was. Turns out, that guy is... REFALDS!

I drowned and fell down beside Refald's body. While the others spontaneously put their feet backward.

I tried to wake him up a little rough. Some of the seniors who were with me also woke him up, but Refald still did not want to wake up either.

I started to panic on my own. Because before this, Refald was fine. How could it be like this? What the hell's going on?

Without feeling it, my anxiety caused my tears to fall down and inadvertently wetted Refald's face. He started moving and surprised all of us who thought he was gone.

Refald began to open his eyes slowly and was somewhat surprised as well because he suddenly saw me and several people were simultaneously near him. He began to sit down and hysterically everyone outside the tent because he thought there was another undead.

“What is this? Why are you all so excited? Is there a show?”

I beat up that guy. “Stupid basis!” Refald who was confused by my impromptu attack stopped my hand and grasped it tightly. He was surprised to see me cry. I wanted to take my hand out of his grasp and wipe my tears but Refald would not let go of mine.

“What's up, Fey! Why are you crying?” tanyanya gently. My seniors who were shocked suddenly became bapers themselves.

“What are you doing here, ha?” my yelling. Makes everyone surprised. Also by Refald.

“I want to sleep. Because I haven't slept all night. It just so happens your tent is empty! So I slept here. Why are you screaming like that? Just surprise me!”

“You can sleep fined by a guy! Why are you sleeping here?”

“All full boy tents. I can't sleep in the girls' tent. All I saw was your empty tent, so I slept here!”

I looked at him in anger. “You are this .. You said you were leaving today. Now quickly go out here and just sleep in your own house there! Why are you even making a scene for everyone here?”

“What am I doing? I just slept?”

“You are not aware of what you are doing?”

“I don't know! You suddenly woke me up like that. How can I know?”

Everyone here was amazed to see our quarrel. Some even stared at the two of us.

“Looks like we all have to go from here!” alex told the others. “Let this husband and wife solve their own problems. We don't need to interfere in their affairs.” Alex took my seniors and others away from us.

“Oey ... Refald! She was crying because she was worried you were dead. You didn't know that? You are so stupid,”, Yoshi said shortly before he went outside leaving us both and closing the tent.

Refald. “Is that true?”

I held back my tears so I wouldn't come out again. But I don't seem to be able to hold it anymore. So, I decided to leave in front of Refald.

Refald held my arm as I began to stand away from him. He pulled my hand so hard that I fell into his arms. He hugged me tightly. My tears fell down his shoulders.

“I'm sorry! I didn't know that I made you that hot.”

I started to feel calm in his arms. I slowly let go of Refald's embrace after first wiping my tears.

“It's okay. I just misunderstood it, because Nura and Mia said they saw a dead body here. And once I know who the dead bodies they mean I ..”

Refald put his index finger on my lips so I could be quiet. “Don't say that again, okay! I'm okay and I won't do anything. You know for yourself, right? I'm very strong. I promised you I wouldn't leave you no matter what. So, don't think bad anymore, okay.”

I'm nodding. But the feeling was exactly the same as the one I had in my dream last night when I saw Refald fall from a waterfall. I was so scared to remember that incident. For a long time Refald made me feel what love is. And I could no longer afford to lose the person I love again like I lost my mother back then.

“You didn't go? Don't you want to open the bandage in your hand?” I held onto Refald's hand which was still wrapped in bandages. It seemed that his wound had already improved, as Refald did not need to support his arm anymore with such a cloth at that time.

“I'm going to sleep again. I'm still so sleepy. Wake me up in an hour, then I'll go.” Refald laid his body down again, but I immediately pulled him back.

“Can't! You should go now. This tent will be used by my other friends, because soon they will all come. You can't sleep here.”

“Why?”

“Do you want to die? My seniors will not remain silent if you force sleep with them.”

“Who said I want to sleep with them?”

“What do you mean?”

“Those senior will be happy to let me sleep alone with you. Surely they will make a special tent for us.”
