LOVER MONSTER!

LOVER MONSTER!
113. Before Monday.

When night came, Jessica came out of her room and sauntered in the silent and quiet third floor corridor. Jessica stared at some of the picture frames on the wall and from the old photos, Jessica guessed that they were all part of the Rhoden family.

All of them, male and female, looked charming and elegant, to be honest. Jessica wondered how could they maintain their DNA to remain beautiful all year round?

Jessica observed the pictures one by one before stopping and retreating again on a fairly large picture frame.

Two people who appear to be father and son are in the photo. Nice and handsome looking. Seeing the photo, Jessica realized that the face of the child in the photo was quite similar to Hestia. His dark eyes and his chin were raised arrogantly. The way she posed there reminded Jessica of Hestia's irritating face.

"That's my son." A voice gives an answer. Jessica turned her head and saw Hestia climbing the stairs leading towards her.

Sheeesh, Jessica is sorry she left the room!

"It looks like someone missed a family photo" Jessica alluded to Hestia who wasn't in the photo. Or maybe he is the photographer? Eiii, impossible. They were wealthy people who could afford to hire a hundred photographers for their family photos.

"I did miss it" said Hestia. He stopped right in front of the picture. "Wittingfully."

'Uugh! Whatever it is for you, please swallow back whatever story you want to tell!' jessica whines in frustration.

For whatever sake, Jessica did not want to chat with Hestia. The woman was too good at talking Jessica felt she would be defeated again for the second time.

However, unfortunately, unlike Jessica's expectations, Hestia continued to speak. An arrogant voice like him was never wrong.

"The day this picture was taken, I was in Bellamy's mansion." Hestia stared at the photo like she was staring at a foreign object. There were no deep gazes there, no nostalgia or sadness for being involved in it.

Not that Jessica expected the woman to be a fisherman once she saw the photo of her late husband, but.

"I remember watching Demian and Erthian studying in the garden."

Wait, what does it mean when he's supposed to attend a family photo, he's instead observing his nephew somewhere else? What kind of mother is this?

"I think family is of great value to you, Hestia." Jessica throws a speech implying cynicism.

"Of course, because my family is of great value.., my family's in Bellamy."

THE WTF?

"Since Maureen, my sister, died. I am willingly devoting myself as a second mother to Erthian and Demian."

"While it risks abandoning your own husband and child?"

"Delivering are words that are.., absurd." Hestia gave Jessica a glance, both hands crossed on the chest. "I'm just putting my priorities on Bellamy, but that doesn't mean I'm abandoning my own family."

Well, putting your main family as number two in Jessica's eyes is already a category of abandonment.

"I'm Bellamy, since I was born, I've always been a part of Bellamy." Hestia came back with her nonsense that made Jessica's ears itch. "Just because I found someone else who meant something to me, a new life, it doesn't change the fact that I'm going to and forever a Bellamy, Jessica."

"Well, okay." Whatever, my goodness, whatever!

"The demian is the same."

Oooh, so this is the direction he's saying? Jessica has an epiphany.

"Just because you share a clan or something. I thought you were shallow enough to assume that everyone - including Demian-sama like you, Hestia."

"..."

Hestia. "Bellamy's name is not just a clan. It's identity, ideology,..."

A cult, Jessica added inwardly.

"As I said, Hestia. 'Whatever it is', that doesn't mean Demian will share the same mindset with you." Jessica was fed up with her efforts to maintain decency, she began to show a presumptuous attitude. Surprisingly, even though Jessica wasn't acting on her 'normal', Jessica felt fine. He felt relieved. His conscience was not hurt at all. Maybe Jessica's been infected with shit because she coexisted with these bastards.

"You and Demian are two different people, stop pinning your hopes on him and ask him to be your man. Excessive adoration like this, is unhealthy."

"What do you mean?" Hestia felt her heart fall into her stomach. Who adores what? Hestia did not understand at all, but her heart felt like it was being stabbed by a thorn.

"You know what I mean, Hestia. Proudly showing off that you abandoned your son and husband in front of me for something that you thought was very meaningful. But, does it really mean that much?-

That Bellamy name you worship, you didn't sacrifice anything for it, you just ruined your own life...,"

"Enough!"

"You're hallucinating, Hestia."

"..."

Jessica grinned thinly over there. "You won't be able to turn back your time as it was. You won't be able to get the time you've wasted. How else, there is no other way. You just have to go ahead and believe your hallucinations. I totally understand."

"Jessica Cerise, you've crossed your line."

"You don't know the limits when it comes to my relationship with Demian, Hestia. Why should I keep my limits?" Jessica took a step forward there, bullying Hestia with her existence that felt like a giant.

Jessica pulled a step back from before Hestia and twisted her steps leaving the woman. Jessica felt quite and satisfied to have been able to reply to the sharp words of the woman in the park. Jessica was relieved. Indeed, victory is the best thing.

"Demian will settle in Bellamy," Hestia's remarks brought Jessica's steps to a standstill. Does this woman still believe in nonsense that Demian is the same figure as her?

"My sacrifice was not in vain, Jessica. My devotion all this time will pay off."

Jessica sniffed her shoulders. He was already unwilling to extend his discussion with Hestia so he left the woman alone with his hallucinations.

Hestia Bellamy, from the beginning Jessica knew the woman, Jessica was wondering why she still had the name Bellamy embedded behind her name.

Wouldn't married women take the last name of their husbands? it was a question that had appeared in Jessica's mind. However, Jessica did not take a long care on that matter.

Not until then.

Jessica found the answer to why Hestia was so fixated on Demian and it was annoying. So obsessed to make Demian the leader at Bellamy.

Hestia who abandoned her main family for Bellamy's sake in Jessica's eyes was already very crazy. It's like someone who puts work first rather than family, but says he's crazy about working for the family. Things like that are bullshit.

If she does put her family first, she should not abandon her husband and child for anything.

What does he think, if he succeeds in his devotion making Demian the head at Bellamy, his act of abandoning his own son during this time is justified? That'll never be right.

He would not be able to turn to his son and say 'Look, this is what I've been busy with until I couldn't take care of you, now you understand?'. He won't get a nod and a thumbs up!

Irritatingly.

Jessica took a long breath.

"I hope Monday comes soon" Jessica murmured. At least, when Monday arrives, any succession conflicts at Bellamy will be resolved. Demian will withdraw from the presence of his family and they can join hands to Vegas. Yay, live happily. Happy ending's.

Okay. That's an over-imagination.

"I'm hungry. Goddamnit!" Jessica pulled the blanket to her head. Hunger drives him crazy.

The next day, Sunday, Jessica who was relaxing on the balcony got a visit from a waiter who was carrying a tray filled with food. The existence of the maid was quite new, Jessica thought. Because usually the one who comes is Lisa.

"Good morning, Miss. Jessica." The greeting is friendly to the ears.

Jessica turned to the waiter and gave a nod. "Morning."

"I brought you a delicious breakfast this morning. Do you want something extra?"

"Uh..." Jessica glanced at the contents of the tray and to be honest, it was very tempting.

"You don't have to hold back hunger anymore, Miss. Jessica."

"..."

"I made this special for you, right out of my hand."

"Eh?" Is this woman the head chef at Rhoden manor?

"Anyway..., Mr. Oscar really appreciates your request." the servant's words made Jessica's eyes widen. The oscar? The oscar? This guy..., this Oscar guy?

"I'm Gianna, I'll be around you and watch your security, Miss."

"E-uh? What about Lisa and Robin?"

"They don't know anything about me, because it's a secret."

"How did you sneak in here?"

"Mr Oscar will give you that answer. For now, just save this topic for your future chats."

Warmly crackled on Jessica's chest, spreading throughout the organs in her body. Jessica was hit with relief. Thanks to Oscar, Jessica finally got to eat.

"Please eat your breakfast as usual. You don't have to worry about anything anymore. Everything is under control."

"Thank you, Gianna."

Finally, for God's sake. At last...

All situations are under control. Just wait for Monday, and they can go back to Vegas.
