LOVER MONSTER!

LOVER MONSTER!
14. Night Saturday.

Today, Elixir closes earlier than usual. The main reason is because right now, the four heads in charge at Elixir are on main street, Vegas. Jessica, Dania, Ethan, and Elliot head for the city's biggest nightclub, Citrus.

Their goal today is just one, which is to have fun.

Party as if this was their last night in the world.

Jessica-as the main bearer of their wild ride tonight, becomes the first person to also run to the dance floor with her black boots. Dania follows Jessica while pulling Ethan with her. The three of them, minus Elliot who was not confident to dance, danced on the dance floor happily.

A smile bloomed on Jessica's face, cheerfully cheerful.

Haaaa~

It felt like he had not relaxed his body for a very long time. He was so immersed in his work that he forgot the fact that there was nothing more fun than to move freely on the dance floor with alcohol running down his blood.

The loud sound of music banged on the ears, clashing with the sparkling light and bouncing everywhere.

Jessica closed her eyes, she forgot for a moment all her fatigue. Forgetting the existence of Dania and Ethan circling around her, dancing with her.

"Because I've gotten used to seeing him sane in the last few months, I almost forgot that he's the queen of nightclubs." Dania spoke half-screaming into Ethan's ear.

Dania was talking about Jessica who was honest, looking very beautiful with sweat that soaked her face. His dense black mane swung left and right, following the jolt of his crisp body.

"Just make sure he doesn't overdo it" Ethan says.

The only reason Ethan accompanies Dania and Jessica on the dance floor is because he wants to protect his two best friends from the mischievous men who stare at the two with ambiguous hunting eyes.

"What's wrong with overdoing it? Jesse hasn't had a good time." Dania chuckles. "I hope he can release all his stress and come back as usual."

"He'll be stoned tomorrow."

"Oh, you're worried about the unnecessary. A little hangover won't kill Jesse. He'll be fine. Besides, you and Elliot are gonna be watching her."

Dania glanced at Jessica once more. His best friend and boss approaches him and Ethan.

"What are you talking about without me?" Jessica put her hands around Dania's neck, took her best friend dancing and jumped with her.

"Ethan is worried about you" Dania said honestly. "I'm not."

"Oho? You're a very good friend, aren't you?"

Dania's pulling shoulders. Rather than answer Jessica, when the song changed to be more upbeat than before, Dania and Jessica jumped in rhythm.

The two were very loose there, dancing as much, as crazy. The DJ music roared big there, they sang together and forgot about the world.

Ethan watched from a distance.

While the music continues to bang on her ears with a thumping chest, triggering adrenaline and dopamine in your body to skyrocket madly, Jessica suddenly bumped into a man as she jumped up and turned around.

Just then, like the cassette suddenly stopped playing, all the euphoria that spread in Jessica's body paused. He turned his head towards the man who was hit by him, the man who was now grimacing on the dance floor.

The music is still buzzing around them.

Jessica extended her hand to the man.

"Are you okay?"

Jessica-forgetting her fun, just focusing on helping the man stand up.

Perhaps due to the glittering light there, Jessica did not find the familiar man's face in her eyes. It was only when Jessica managed to help the man off the dance floor that Jessica realized who was in her arms right now.

Jake Allendale's.

Gee. What kind of miracle is this?

How small is the city of Las Vegas that he has to meet a man who is still related to boils in his brain? Okay, anyway.., the boil Jessica was referring to was Demian.

"I'm sorry," Jake Allendale-from his performance, was quite stoned. It was only fitting that he fell down when Jessica nudged him. Damn, Jessica had felt guilty for hitting the man so hard.

The smell of alcohol emanates from Jake's body, as if it were a parfume.

"I hit you" said Jessica. "You don't have to apologize."

"Mmmm..." Jake nodded, his pair of white irises sparkling.

"Are you coming with your friend?" Jessica asked back. He worries about Jake struggling to stand on his own feet. The man will end up being a doormat in Citrus if he doesn't come home.

"Repaint..."

"Huh?"

"I should be with Angela." Jake wailed low.

Angela again, Angela again.

"Are the women on this planet not enough until every man I meet cries?"

Jessica has no problem with Angela, seriously. Jessica was just purely curious. Is that girl so charming?

Well, it's possible.

"Hey..." Jessica tries to hold Jake back from falling. "You better go home. Do you have any friends I can call? Besides Angela, of course." He's dating Demian now!

"Huh?"

"SS street.., Silver Building, room 35..."

"Wait, wait..." Jessica patted Jake's cheek over and over again and just then, Jake had lost consciousness.

AAAAHHHHH! HOLY SHIT!!!

*

Fortunately, Elliot Winchester was there. He was the one who realized Jessica's unlucky situation and stood up to help.

"Just leave him in the parking lot," was Elliot's previous suggestion. However, thanks to Jessica's empathy for not allowing her to do evil, Elliot's advice is ignored.

"How could I leave a helpless man in any place. What if he gets robbed? No, worse, if he's murdered..."

Sometimes Jessica's imagination makes Elliot want to immerse his face in the ground. The girl was too paranoid and naive.

Even if he dies, it's none of your business.

Elliot wanted to talk to Jessica, but held her back. As he is unable to deny Jessica, Elliot offers to help her get Jake out of Citrus and find a taxi. Ethan and Dania are still on the dance floor, unaware of both situations.

"Jesse, you have to cut back on helping people you don't know at all. You can be used." Elliot spoke while they were in a taxi driving to SS street. Between Elliot and Jessica, Jake is sound asleep while leaning on Elliot's shoulder.

"I know what you mean. I wouldn't help her if I didn't know her, anyway."

"You know him?"

Jessica nodded. "He is a customer at Elixir. At least, he used to stop by Elixir."

'He who is a customer also does not guarantee the reason you have to help him, ' Elliot paled.

"Someone is having fun out there, and someone else is soaking himself in alcohol and frustration." Jessica nodded weakly. He looked at Jake's sleeping face with concern.

This man is a winner in Jessica's eyes, at least. She managed to win a love triangle story that used to be very entertaining for Jessica's eyes.

Jessica thought, when Jake and Angela together, the two will get a happy ending like a romantic drama. However, reality changed Jessica's point of view. Just because the two were together, the story did not just stop. Somehow, the two people that Jessica had in mind were already destined to be together, were now splitting the path.

"Why is he so heavy?"

Elliot complains as he and Jessica drag Jake's sleeping body towards the Silver building. Silver, as the name suggests, is a silver apartment building. His looming height pierced the night sky. A receptionist stood guard on the first floor, welcoming the arrival of the three of them.

While Elliot introduces himself to the young receptionist standing guard there, introducing Jake Allendale who is one of the occupants of the building, Jessica retreated and took Jake to the sofa opposite the receptionist table.

Since this was an elite area, not just anyone could roam there. Jessica realizes that she and Elliot need to confirm their identities first. They can't just throw Jake in there and leave. Damn it!

Uupph!

"Eh?" Jake awoke and was about to spit something out of his mouth. Jessica widens her eyes.

"Hooup!!"

"Wait, wait..." Jessica panic. "Don't puke here! You can't throw up here!"

Jake glanced at Jessica who was embracing him in panic.

Wh who?

The question flashed in his mind.

Not wanting Jake to spit out his entrails in the lobby of the building, Jessica immediately helped Jake to the bathroom that was not far from there.

'The 'male bathroom' is on the doorstep. It was a boundary that Jessica should not have exceeded. However, as Jake was still having trouble standing, Jessica led the man in and directly directed him to one of the cubicles that were there.

Jake spewed out his stomach. Jessica massaged the man's back with tears in her eyes. Jessica couldn't see anyone else vomiting, so she thought she'd have vomited too.

"Take everything out" Jessica said. "Don't leave anything behind."

Take everything out and...UH-OH?

"The F?"

A shadow of someone spilled over them.

Defying the light, a man stood in front of the open bathroom door. He-of all people, is the one who shouldn't be there.

"Demians?" Jessica looked up at the door, no, rather to the man who was now looking at her with a deadly sharp delicacy.

"What are you doing here?" ask Jessica.

Why is it here?

"Aren't I the one who's supposed to question that, Jessica?" Demian.

"What are you doing here with Jake Allendale?"
