LOVER MONSTER!

LOVER MONSTER!
29. Sentiment.

A day with Jake Allendale was fun. No, rather, very fun.

Jessica - for the first time this month, feeling detached and free. He laughs complacently, loses his breath, and sweats. Jake Allendale actually kept his word to Jessica to bring the girl some fun.

Jake, not only takes Jessica for a walk in his luxury car, also takes Jessica to a cafe that sells delicious desserts. After spending two or three slices of strawberry tart and a glass of watermelon juice, they continued walking, only, this time they left Jake's car in front of the dessert cafe.

Jake said someone was going to pick up his car. Jessica didn't ask any questions about who the man was and followed Jake waltzing down the sidewalk of the busiest street in Vegas.

High standing hotels frame every street corner, along with various malls and entertainment venues.

Jessica and Jake then enter a high roller ring that stands high in the middle of Vegas. They are in it, sharing snacks while telling a short story about the places they have visited.

"Although it's a big display in the middle of the city, I didn't expect locals like you to ride the high roller for the first time."

"It's not just a high roller" Jessica said. "I've never ridden a reanglala anywhere before."

"Seriously? Don't tell me you've never been to Disneyland?"

"I used to work there" Jessica said.

"Huh?"

"I have pretty strict parents" Jessica said in response to Jake's shock. "I only gained freedom when both of them died."

"Well..."

Jessica's smile is sweet. A memory he did not want to think of rippled into Jessica's mind, making her subconsciously squeeze her own wrist. Resisting the rumble that appeared on the chest, along with other unpleasant feelings.

"I wish I could see Elixir from here," Jessica muttered as she leaned her head against the glass wall. Jake, standing next to her, instead of staring at the cityscape, stared at the faint reflection of himself and Jessica there.

"I brought Angela here once," Jake suddenly confessed. Maybe because he felt like he was in debt, Jessica brought up unpleasant memories.

"Well, what's a romantic trip?"

Jake smiled bitterly. "We came home full of quarrels after that."

"..."

"Angela, unlike what I thought, has many opposing views of me. Maybe that's why we collapsed."

"Well, look." Jessica's attention was distracted. "There's kites. I want to try playing it. Let's play it after this."

Jake smiled thinly. "All right."

Jake and Jessica don't stop in one or two places. They do various things that end up making them overwhelmed.

They tasted street food, danced to the music of street artists, joined the tourists. Not only that, they also tried a fire-shaped twin tattoo on the wrist that, he said, only lasted two days.

They stand side by side on a guardrail that bends them from the Bellagio fountain that gushes beautifully under the colorful lights. Enjoy a can of beer and enjoy the loud music playing at that location.

"I didn't expect me to spend my day running around with a Jake Allendale." Jessica spoke as she stared in amazement at the fountain attraction that was going on in front of them.

"Why, really? Is that weird?"

"It's very strange" said Jessica. He came back laughing.

In Jessica's eyes, Jake Allendale had the same standing as Demian. It never came to Jessica's mind that she was going to spend the night having fun with one of the two.

The fact that he was secretly in an absurd relationship with Demian Bellamy alone was strange enough, now he was even friends with Jake Allendale.

"I think you're the one who thinks our current situation is weird, even weirder."

"Me?"

Jake nodded. "Friendship with you is not an oddity, I think."

"Even though we have very different routes of life?" Jessica sipped her beer. He's been pretty stoned, actually.

"I was a regular visitor on Elixir, at least, for some time. Isn't that enough of a reason to start a friendship?"

"Yeah, it still feels weird. Friendship...., friendship should, have more foundation...mmm, strong, so?"

Jake restrains Jessica's waist which almost staggered.

"Be careful" said Jake. He rested Jessica's head on his shoulders. A pair of emerald girls were sparkling.

"You've been so stoned."

"I'm not..., ughm..., I'm just... unbalanced?"

"I'll take you home" Jake made the decision. Besides, it's ten now. Jessica had been with him all day, the girl needed rest.

"Shuuush, sit down." Jake throws Jessica into the taxi, positioning the girl in a comfortable position before catching up.

"Jake Allendale," call Jessica again. This time full of ambition. "I'm..."

"???"

"I'll make you forget Angela. Ehehehe. I have a lot of girlfriends, you know.., if you want.I.mmmm..."

Jake tidied up Jessica's messy hair covering her face. The girl had already fallen asleep completely.

"That's an interesting offer" Jake murmured. He then grabbed Jessica's wrists that were drooping on her side. The fire shaped tattoo attached to the girl's arm, Jake looked at her blushingly.

It's the first time for Jake, sharing a friendship tattoo, having fun with a friend.

This is the first time Jake Allendale has ever kissed someone on their wrist.

Elixir closes at ten p.m. As one of the employees who took the night shift, Angela Lancaster just came home when her fellow employees closed the cafe.

Just then, Demian was waiting for Angela at the door. Demian said he would take Angela home. Considering Angela is now not living with Jake anymore and she is now home alone, Demian worries about Angela's safety on the dangerous Las Vegas road.

"Thank you for your hard work today, everyone..." Dania waved to the employees who parted ways with them. He also waved at Angela who was now running towards Demian.

"Good job, Angela." said Dania, she's neglected. Miris.

"Good job, Dani." Ethan is telling. "Wanna drink this out?"

"I want to," Elliot connected.

"Should I call Jesse, where is he?" Dania was curious, for the past few weeks, Jessica often disappeared.

"Don't you know, I heard she was dating." Elliot's making things up.

"Seriously?"

"Ahahahahaha..., see Dania's expression? Are you that surprised?"

"Yeah, this is Jessica. When was she ever close to a man?"

It's no secret in their friendship that Jessica is a girl who never socialized with men. She's a spinster!

Impossible he's clinging to

A taxi light cut through the heads of three friends still perched on the lips of the road. They turned to the light source and found the taxi stopped right in front of them.

Angela and Demian who had just finished climbing the bike and wearing a helmet also turned to look at the taxi.

They noticed who had come down from there with an helpless body.

That was Jessica. Along with Jessica, a Jake Allendale stood firm while holding Jessica in his chest.

"Good night" Jake said to the now-stupefied trio.

"Mmm, this.., Jessica mostly drinks, so I drive her home..."

Elliot was the first to react. "Oh, let me help you."

Elliot took Jessica on the other side. Ethan, following Elliot, immediately opened the door again.

As long as Jessica and Jake's friends busied themselves helping to bring Jessica in, Angela who was sitting behind Demian's motorbike stared at the scene with reddened eyes holding back anger.

"Demian..., that one just now..., Jake, right?"

Demian looked towards the cafe with a sharp delicacy of stabbing. "That's Jake Allendale" Demian murmured.

Does that mean Jessica disappeared all day to meet Jake? The question popped into Demian's mind like a sharp needle embedded in his mind.

He feels amazing heat.

Oscar's words involuntarily reverberated in Demian's mind. That, what if at any time, Jessica will be captured by the same man?

Jessica, who is her personal property, is hers. Demian grasped the handlebar of his motor with full force.

The desire to crush someone played on his head, burning him. Angela shared the same sentiment.
