“ Sorry yes , Ma. Because I fell ill Mama did not even go on vacation, “ said Fabian.

Fabian coughed again with an increasingly tight chest. He is currently lying in a hospital bed after being unconscious last night. His body seemed to have no immunity to withstand the various diseases that came. “ You can definitely recover and live life well as before,” said Mama Widya encouraging her child.

After being diagnosed with HIV and going through an advanced phase towards AIDS, Fabian was completely uprooted in his pain. Many times he was about to give up on this life but repeatedly his plans failed.

Sometimes Fabian felt that God's punishment was too cruel to him. He still wanted to live life but a good life seemed reluctant to approach him. There are obstacles and trials that must be passed. 

Later that night, Mama Widya contemplated alone. He exhaled heavily many times because the various plans he had neatly drawn up had to end up in vain. He saw a portrait of Zavian on his phone screen and Mama Widya closed her eyes so tightly. His chest was claustrophobic by the various feelings that were now filling his mind. 

“ It's been a year you're gone, Za. Do you miss Mama ?” ask Mama Widya alone. 

Exhaled again rough breathing, this time his feelings are getting sicker.” Is it just Mama who misses you? Is it just Mama who wants you to go home?” 

Mama Widya passed the time while contemplating all night. He thought about many things, about Zavian not going home and also about Fabian who had to survive. 

Every now and then Mama Widya cried in silence, she would call out Zavian's name with all the pain in her chest. There was a longing mixed with anger and it was very painful. Mama Widya wants to go see Zavian but can't bear to leave Fabian alone. 

Being in the limit of such a dilemma really made Mama Widya feel upset. She was confused about what to do with her two children. 

The next day, the doctor who examined Fabian said that the man's condition was getting worse by the day. The defense of his body was extremely weak and that was what made him repeatedly fall ill. Actually it is natural for people with HIV/AIDS in the advanced phase such as Fabian. 

“ Do not let there are things that make the patient exhausted because at any time he can drop and fall,” said the doctor. 

Mama Widya looked at Fabian with glaring eyes. Too bad. Last night, Fabian said he wanted to take a vacation and go abroad if things improved. 

“ I know my son's condition will not improve as it was, but please give him the best medicine so he can survive longer. She still wants to live, there are still many things she wants to do,”, said Mama Widya as she sobbed. 

“ Ma,” Fabian called Mama Widya with a voice that sounded so weak.” Don't stay with me, yeah.” 

“ No, Bian. Mama will not leave you,” said Mama Widya full of confidence. He rubbed the back of Fabian's hand slowly. 

“Appointment yes, Ma. Don't go quietly without telling me ,” Fabian said again. 

Mama Widya gasped with sudden chest pain. He did want to outwit Fabian and went secretly to meet Zavian. Just a week and it won't be long . But it felt like doing that would be outrageous, let alone Fabian being miserable like this. 

“ I'm scared, Ma. I'm afraid, if I had died when Mama left. I don't want to die alone and it will definitely feel very sad,” Fabian said. 

“ Don't say that, Mama won't leave you, anyway. Relax, Mama will accompany you at all times,” said Mama Widya.” And you won't die that soon.” 

“ Hold Mama's promise,” whispered Fabian shriek. 

“ Yes, you hold the promise Mama.”

Mama Widya nodded convincingly, then she asked permission to go to the bathroom. Arriving in the bathroom, Mama Widya leaned her back against the wall and she started crying. 

His feelings right now are very chaotic. In the midst of her inner struggle as a mother, Mama Widya finally made an important decision. He had decided to forgo the overseas itinerary in order to meet Zavian. Mama Widya will not do that for her own selfishness. 

He had to think about Fabian and put his firstborn as a top priority. 

“ Zavian , you must be fine there, yes ,’kan ?” asked Mama Widya while wiping her tears .” I'm sorry, but Mama didn't meet you there. After all, you definitely don't want Mama's presence there. You're happier living your life without Mama.”

Mama Widya was sobbing and trying to suppress her stuffing alone. It hurts a lot, but this is the choice to make. 

Mama Widya did not know that in that part of the world, her son was also holding back the disappointment of not meeting her. Zavian had prepared all things well to welcome his arrival but it had to end in vain. 

Mama Widya also does not know that Zavian misses her, awaits her arrival and wants to hug her. Because no matter how great Zavian is, he is still a child who needs the love of a mother. Zavian had forgiven all the pain that Mama Widya had inflicted and still loved her so sincerely. 

While from his bed, Fabian smiled with satisfaction. Someone just told him that Mama Widya had canceled her travel plans and refunded her flight ticket to America. Finally, Mama Widya really undoes her intention to meet Zavian. Very satisfying news for Fabian. 

During this time, Fabian also put a spy to watch every movement of Mama Widya. And a week ago, Fabian discovered the fact that Mama Widya had learned of Zavian's whereabouts and was about to go there. 

Fabian knows that his mother lied when she said she wanted to vacation abroad for shopping to release stress. So Fabian always turned his brain and looked for ways how to cancel the departure of Mama Widya. She would never have willing her mother to meet Zavian for any reason. 

Then now, Fabian's plan to separate Mama Widya from Zavian has succeeded. He's laughing a little. I think he won something. 

“ Mama can't leave me,” Fabian muttered with a grinning smile.” And you , Vian . Don't expect Mama to come see you there.”
