Disappointment

“ You can actually accompany me, By? No longer busy,” asked Nayara to make sure she did not interfere with her husband's current job.

“ No, darling. Safe really,” said Zavian. The man rolled up his sleeves to the elbows.

Zavian accidentally left his office to accompany Nayara to a check with the obstetrician today. After all, Yudha her friend and co-worker also did not mind being left alone because Zavian had finished his job well today. 

Zavian drove himself to the hospital and guided his wife down from the car. Nayara had made an appointment with the doctor and did not need to be in the queue anymore. The two walked past the hospital lobby with friendly arms. 

“ That Sarah ,” whispered Nayara when she saw the whereabouts of the woman who was once her honey.

“ Ignore it,” reply Zavian while clutching Nayara's shoulder to be more docked towards him. 

While Sarah also looked at the two with a difficult gaze to interpret. Her face was soaked with tears and could not think of her heartache or unwarranted grudge against Nayara. Because Sarah just received some shocking news from the doctor.

Sarah looked at Nayara's back who was walking behind her. The woman seemed happy with her new life with Zavian. Sarah thought Nayara would be devastated after her divorce from Fabian.

Who would have thought, it turns out he was the one who was destroyed by his own actions . Not yet recovering from the pain of the caesarean section he underwent during childbirth, now Sarah must accept the bitter fact that the child he was born prematurely must die. 

Sarah was crying again. The death certificate issued by the hospital was viewed with foggy eyes. Meanwhile his mother came to report that the car to drive them home was waiting.

With a limp step, Sarah walked out of the hospital lobby and into the car. This loss had left him slumped into an extremely painful wound. No loss made him feel okay. 

While in the doctor's room, Zavian and Nayara looked at the monitor screen with a smile that was equally wide. Especially when doctors say that the fetus contained Nayara is well developed. 

“ Keep hold of this good condition, yes,” said doctor Raina kindly. “ I will prescribe vitamins so that the health condition of the mother and her future baby is always maintained.” 

“ Thank goodness,” Nayara and Zavian said in unison. They looked at each other and smiled together. 

After the consultation, Zavian immediately invited Nayara home. He offered whether his wife wanted to shop first or not. When Nayara answered no, Zavian went straight home. 

“ I can't wait to see him grow up,” said Zavian while stroking Nayara's stomach. 

“ Same with me too. But we have to be patient waiting for him,” said Nayara. 

“ Oh, yes. Mama invited us to dinner at home,” Nayara said. 

“ You answer what?” ask Zavian.

“ Not answered yet,’kan should ask for your approval first,By .” 

“ Just refuse, I am not going to meet Papa or Fabian,” replied Zavian. 

Nayara frowned hearing her husband's request,“ Why?” tanya Nayara was curious about what had happened between Papa Adrian and her husband. Because Zavian has not told him any problems. 

“ Our last meeting was a bit less pleasant,” explained Zavian while driving his car. His gaze was straight towards the path , occasionally staring at Nayara at a glance. “ Papa seems to be angry with me because I rejected the proposal of cooperation with him.”

“ Oh, so,” hiss Nayara understands.

“ If I accept papa's invitation to join, then I must release the cooperation with Aryan. Though all this time Aryan was the one who always helped me when I was in trouble. While Papa just wants to take advantage without thinking about the losses I will bear,” explained Zavian again. 

The man seemed very disappointed with his father, especially when Adrian openly asked him to help him but simultaneously also required Zavian to cut off cooperation with MH Corporations . Papa Adrian claimed that he did not want to work with competitors who compete with him. 

“ Just do what you think is right, By. Not all Papa's wishes must be obeyed,” said Nayara gave advice.

“ Yes, I don't want to follow Papa's will. That's why I avoided meeting with Papa,” explained Zavian .

Actually not only Papa Adrian who is being avoided by Zavian, but Fabian as well. He did not want to constantly feel upset because of Fabian's very annoying attitude. For that reason, Zavian decided to refuse any form of meeting with Papa and his brother. 

Nayara told Mama Widya that they could not come to join the dinner with the Rayyansyah family. That answer certainly got a disappointed response from Mama Widya who had hoped for the arrival of her son and daughter-in-law tonight. 

At night, when he heard the news of the rejection, Papa Adrian just snorted cynically. He did not expect that Zavian would also refuse to meet him. Though the plan tonight Papa Adrian wants to lure his son with the grant of shares to want to work together in his company. 

“ Basic children do not know themselves,” Said Papa Adrian growled . “ Yesterday he rejected my invitation blatantly, now he also refuses to come to this house. He thinks he's great already, huh?” 

“ Nayara said that Zavian was busy and overtime until night in his office ,Pa.” explained Mama Widya trying to calm her husband's mood.

“ They refused because it was the case, not just to avoid meeting with Papa.” 

“ Same as !” upset Papa Adrian.

“ Potatoes has succeeded in establishing cooperation with large companies, he now feels arrogant and does not need my help anymore.” 

“ Zavian is not such a child, Pa. He must have his own reasons that Papa does not understand,” sergeant Mama Widya. 

“ I'm already disappointed with Zavian . Maybe he refused to help me,” said Papa Adrian with annoyance when given the rejection from Zavian. 

Mama Widya tried to calm her husband but did not succeed. Adrian, who had hoped much that Zavian would come to help him, had to swallow his own disappointment. In fact, Zavian remained firm and did not want to disturb anything that intersected with the big name of Raya Corp.

I remember what Zavian said a few days ago when he refused Papa Adrian's request. The sentence that was thrown from Zavian really offended Adrian who had been impressed just use it. 

“ Kingdom Corporation is a treasure that Papa bequeathed to Fabian. So, please Papa just rely on Fabian to overcome this problem because I will not disturb what Papa has handed down to him,”, said Zavian. 

“ Papa only wants you to handle one project, it does not matter if you have to bring your company name here,” said papa Adrian at the time. 

“ No, Pa. I'm not going to merge my company with my own, Papa. In the future, I do not want to accept any intervention because my company is something that I built from my own efforts. So, please understand that now my position is a CEO of my company, no longer a second son figure that can only be used at will,” explained Zavian again. 

Adrian desperately persuaded his son but the results were still nil. He did not manage to get Zavian back into his arms. 

“ Since the beginning we have been wrong in treating Zavian. So, it's only natural that now he does not want to be used again,” explained Mama Widya. 

“ He is still my son and will be forever so,” Papa Adrian asserted . “ No matter how great he is out there, people will still assume that my successful son is because of my services.” 

“ Go, Pa. Let Zavian shape his own world. During this time he has also helped a lot but Papa never appreciated it ,” said Mama Widya. 

“ I'll make Zavian come back to me. She should not be too stubborn and haughty like this,” muttered Papa Adrian slowly, but Mama Widya could still hear clearly. 

“ What's up,Pa? How is her laughter so tense?” asked Fabian who had just joined the dining table. He did not come alone, but there was Om Farhan and Aunt Tania who also occupied a seat at the dining table. 

“ I have two children but none of them are useful,” Adrian said with sharp insinuations. He glanced at Fabian who was pecking at his seat. “ One is busy taking care of people's wives, one behaves arrogantly as if he is in control of the world.” 

“ Papa insinuated me ?” asked Fabian with an unhappy look. 

“ Yes, who else,” replied Papa Adrian who was fed up.” Focus on work, Bian. Stop your ridiculous attitude of paying people to follow Nayara . She's already your sister's wife!” 

“ Where does Papa know?” asked Fabian with a tense face. “ What did Zavian tell Papa everything?” 

“ It's not that hard to observe your lunge, Bian. If you continue to behave like this, then I will give power to others in leading this company,” threatening papa Adrian.
