Their journey was filled with silence as none of them spoke. Occasionally Zavian's phone rang but the man ignored it because he chose to focus on driving. 

The streets that are still quiet in the morning make their journey faster and easier in the hospital hope family. The two immediately got out of the car and ran towards the ER where Mama Widya was. 

It turned out that Zavian and Aunt Tania arrived together at the hospital and immediately embraced Mama Widya in turn. As Fabian hugged Mama Widya, the woman's cry grew even more broken. He sobbed so bitterly, not because he saw the condition of his son with a bandaged head but because he was unable to stem the sadness of everything that happened to his family. 

“ Your father is gone, Bian. Your father died.” said Mama Widya.

“ I'm sorry, Ma.” Fabian said sobbing.

When faced with the stiff face of his now lifeless papa, Fabian's cry became even more so. No matter how hard he shook his body, his papa would never open his eyes again. Hugged the stiff body while roaring and lamenting the sudden departure of his father. 

“ There is no point in crying over Papa to the extent. Now Papa is calm and does not feel pain anymore,” said Zavian while pulling Fabian away from the corpse of Papa Adrian. 

The other family helped to take care of the administration as well as the hospital payments. The plan was Papa Adrian's body was immediately taken home because it had received certainty from the doctor at the hospital. 

That morning, they came home with Papa Adrian's body in tears. No one would have expected that they would face a bitter destiny this quickly. 

The departure of Papa Adrian is too sudden and surprising.Without a message, without a goodbye. It's natural that Mama Widya feels shocked because she feels so lost. Even his cries never subsided even though the other family always gave him comfort.

“ Your papa suddenly drops and faints long enough. Mama immediately called the doctor and your father was aware. But after that she fainted again and we took your papa to the hospital,” explained Mama Widya with a nasal voice after crying. Now they have arrived home and Mama Widya talks to Zavian both. 

“ Why didn't Mama tell me?” zavian asked a little disappointed. 

Mama Widya shook her head weakly.” You're busy taking care of Fabian at the hospital. So, Mama thinks you don't have to be burdened thinking about your papa's situation. Mama thought everything would be fine, but it turned out..”.

Zavian immediately hugged Mama Widya and rubbed the woman's back. “ Maybe this is the best for Papa because he has been suffering from pain for quite a long time.” 

“ But Mama has not been sincere, Za,” said Mama Widya back sniffled.” Even before that your father promised to be healed soon so that he could see his grandson grow up. But not long after your papa just left.” 

Zavian felt something stick his throat until it hurt. He himself was quite hit with the sudden departure of Papa. Zavian had not even apologized to his father and it further added to the pain inside his chest.

“ Your papa knows all about Fabian,” said Mama Widya while removing her tears.“ Your father watched the news about Fabian being involved in an accident with the half-naked woman. Your father also knew that Fabian was under the influence of drugs .” 

Zavian was stunned to hear his mother's explanation. 

“Your father mentioned Fabian several times. After that your Papa's blood pressure rose dramatically and had a seizure before fainting. While on the way to the hospital, your papa has not reacted anymore ,” explained Mama Widya with so much sadness.

Death on arrival. That's the explanation that Zavian got regarding the death of his father from the hospital earlier. His father had died on the way and could not be saved again. The trigger could be due to blood pressure that is too high so that it makes the heart disease Papa crumpled and ended with death.

“ If Fabian does not make a tantrum, maybe your Papa will not go this fast,” said Mama Widya later.

 “ Though all this time Papa loved Fabian very much, but why did he even return his papa affection with this attitude?”

“ Already, Ma. There is nothing to regret anymore,” Zavian said as he calmed the middle-aged woman. Mama Widya cried again in Zavian's arms. 

Meanwhile, from behind the partition of the room, Fabian heard all of Mama's words just now. His breathing suddenly felt crowded with puddles of tears that blurred his vision. 

It is true what Mama Widya said just now. Papa Adrian's death could have been caused by Fabian's outrageous behavior . It was he who caused chaos in the Rayyansyah family until it ended with the death of Papa Adrian. 

Fabian is stupid, toolol and self-informed. Now Fabian was crying sobbing while cursing himself. He sat on the cold floor hugging his knees. Tears soaked Fabian's shirt. 

All the pain that had stopped due to his accident did not feel it anymore. Now his heart was much more sick and bitter to find the figure of Papa who had always defended him had gone. 

Zavian was always by Mama Widya's side and hugged her to stay strong. While Fabian just stood by his mother's side without being able to do anything. He could feel his entire eyes staring at him with an unspoken look of cynicism and fury. Everyone knows that Papa Adrian left just as his son stumbled upon a very public scandal.

Think of Fabian as containing only regrets that he could not express in words . Even when he saw Nayara present among them, Fabian chose to ignore the woman. He did not look at Nayara with the longing and passionate gaze he had been doing. Everything suddenly felt empty and empty. 

“ Why are there still police here?” ask aunt Siska with an irritated highlight. He stared at the four policemen who had come into the courtyard. “ Do they not know that we are grieving?”

“ They will definitely want to sneak Fabian !”  tanta Tania was also furious. 

Zavian who saw that immediately called his lawyer. He knew that the police would not let Fabian off the hook after what had happened. But that does not mean they are free to behave as they please when things are chaotic like this. 

“ I know they are carrying out duties and orders of superiors, but at least do not disturb us who are grieving,” said Zavian while pressing his tone so as not to rise.

 “ Please handle them, yes.”

“ Ready, Mas,” replied the Rayyansyah family lawyer who immediately moved quickly to the law enforcement.

Papa Adrian's funeral was held in the afternoon after all the family members came. There were cries and wails accompanying the departure of Papa Adrian to his final resting place. Flower sprinkles now filled the mound of red earth that was still wet. 

Mama Widya sat down weakly and stared at her husband's funeral with grief. While Zavian embraced his mother and whispered affirmative sentences. 

“ Now Mama only has you, Vian,” said Mama Widya while wiping away her tears.

Fabian who heard that felt a tremendous pain inside his chest. But looking at the current situation and realizing his mistake, Fabian tried to get his chest up. She was indeed inappropriate and would not be able to become the pedestal of her mother. He is just a stupid man who has always been the cause of trouble in his family. 

Later that night, lawyer Papa Adrian comes to the Rayyansyah family residence while carrying some files in his hands. The lawyer who had been entrusted by Papa Adrian in dealing with all the problems related to the law seemed tense when the Rayyansyah nuclear family looked at him. 

“ I will read the will as well as the division of the inheritance of Mr. Adrian Rayyansyah,” said a middle-aged man whose age is not much different from Papa Adrian 

“ Can't it be delayed, sir? We are still in a state of mourning, you know,” said Zavian who objected to all this. 

“ Mr. Adrian himself who asked me to read the will and also the division of his inheritance was read shortly after he was buried ” explained the lawyer named Indra. 

“ Right, Za. Your father also had time to say so Mama,” timpal Mama Widya. 

“ Oh, yes . While in the hospital at that time, Mr. Adrian updated his inheritance distribution letter, so the old letter was no longer valid. Now I will read the latest and confirmed letter,”, said Mr. Indra again.

The paper containing Papa Adrian's signature on the stamp was placed in the middle of the table so that all family members could see it. There are two papers, the first is an inheritance letter containing the distribution of wealth Papa Adrian and the second is a will containing special messages for family members. 

Mr. Indra read the letter of distribution of wealth first. After that, he read the will.

Zavian denied nothing more. He resigned himself and listened to what his father had inherited before he died. There was nothing that caught his attention in the slightest about the distribution of his father's inheritance. Because all this time he did not expect anything and he already had a material abundance that is able to support his children and his wife. 

However, Zavian was surprised when Mr. Indra mentioned the last point of his Papanya will.“ Raya Corp and all its assets are handed over to Zavian Rayyansyah. Only Zavian Rayyansyah has the right to manage the company and all assets in accordance with its policies. This decision will also be read before the shareholders and also the board of directors.”

Zavian felt his shoulders had just been hit by a heavy weight. And the atmosphere became even more tense as Fabian looked at Zavian with eyes so sharp.
