THE FORMER SHADOW
12. New Facts

Badrina and Cantara have gone down to the lobby of the mall. They were waiting for his name to be called to be able to use the taxi service.

As Badrina enters the vehicle, Arshaka follows. The man held the back passenger car door that Badrina was about to close.

Their sitting position was in line Arshaka, Badrina in the middle and Cantara at the end near the door, "Road, sir" Badrina told the taxi driver.

There was the sound of heavy breathing Arshaka was trying to breathe air. Badrina chose to stay because it was so much better than talking that she reaped a commotion in a taxi.

On the way home, Cantara fell asleep, the boy gave full tender to Badrina. The weight of Cantara which almost reached 20 kg made Badrina's sitting position pressed to Arshaka.

Badrina straightened her body, tilted her back to Arshaka so that Cantara's sleeping position was more comfortable.

Badrina was strong with such a position. The traffic jams made it longer to arrive at Nuraini's house. Yes, Badrina decided to go back there according to Nuraini's message before they went to the mall this afternoon.

"The body should not be forced upright, it will be sore, back pain," said Arshaka Little. The man noticed his ex-wife's efforts earlier.

"The rendezvous to me was nothing, '" he chuckled a little. Arshaka's whispering voice instead of making Badrina obey, instead he shifted Cantara to the right a little so that he could march from Arshaka.

Badrina is not willing to go near Arshaka anymore actually, but there are always silly events that make them have to be side by side like now.

The woman held her body back to her little daughter, as if she thought Arshaka was not with her.

Arriving at the gate of Nuraini's house, Badrina immediately paid the taxi fare, hauled groceries, and carried Cantara in distress, "Here Canta is with me," Arshaka bargained with her hand, after the taxi drove back.

"A strong lift?" badrina asked coldly, the woman was worried that Cantara had fallen while being carried by Arshaka.

"Don't doubt my strength, Rina. The one with lower pain, my hand was not paralyzed," he said, showing both hands. "Don't Canta, even if you ask for a sling, I'm strong." Arshaka patted her chest.

Badrina glared at Arshaka. The man took over Cantara in his carrier.

Badrina went into the house first. Arshaka smiled happily pranking his ex-wife who had a cold expression since returning home earlier.

Nuraini had rested, no longer welcoming their arrival. Badrina asked Cantara to be taken into her room instead of Nuraini, she did not want to disturb the reprehensibility of her former mother-in-law's break by putting Cantara into the room.

Arshaka put her daughter slowly in bed. Badrina immediately opened her shoes and changed her clothes slowly. The boy did not wake up so Badrina could not wipe and accompanied Cantara to brush her teeth.

Arshaka was still inside the room, standing not far from them. He noticed what his ex-wife was doing.

Finished taking care of Cantara, Badrina found Arshaka's presence in the room. He was astonished, should Arshaka head to his own room to rest, "There's more need?" ask Badrina.

The woman got out of bed, rolled her hair over her head, and planned to wash herself. There was no response from Arshaka.

Badrina turned her head to find Arshaka had stood looking at her body, as if she was going to eat it.

"Hey! What do you want?" asked Badrina with the volume of sound held back. Badrina stepped back, took the horses to immediately beat Arshaka if the man would take any undue action.

"Badrina.." said Arshaka in a heavy, low voice, like a whisper. He walked slowly towards Badrina. Badrina's hand has been on standby to fend off any model of coercion that Arshaka will serve.

Badrina was stunned on the spot, Arshaka's face was so close to her, even the scent of the man's body could be sniffed on.

"There's an insect on your shoulder. Wanna see?" haggar Arshaka, showing his closed hands.

Badrina froze at the word insect. He shook his head unwillingly, panicked, and trembled at the thought of an insect falling on his shoulders.

Badrina does have a history of fear of some insects such as cockroaches, grasshoppers, bees, and beetles since childhood.

"Iiihhh, keep it away from me" he almost shouted. Arshaka went to the window and threw the insect that was none other than the beetle. He could not kill that little animal.

After that, he returned to Badrina. "Already take a deep breath, Rina," Arshaka instructed. "I've thrown the roof away" he continued, trying to calm Badrina.

The woman followed what Arshaka said. Arshaka poured water into the glass available in Badrina's room and handed it over. Badrina gulped him down to the toilet until a gulp of water sounded.

"You haven't gone to intervention therapy?" ask Arshaka.

"haven't had time. Since Canta's been full with me, there hasn't been a chance to leave Canta. If the therapy can not be once twice," Badrina explained after drinking. He returned the empty glass to Arshaka.

Arshaka stared fixedly at Badrina's face, looking at her with empathy. The man knew a lot of the misery of Badrina's childhood.

The woman was afraid of insects because when she was a child when she was naughty, she would be faced with many types of insects to scare Badrina according to her.

Badrina once told her fear of insects at the beginning of their courtship, so Arshaka is always ready when there are insects approaching.

It's just that, they used to not understand that phobias are a condition of psychological concern and experience during childhood Badrina.

Recently before the divorce happened they consulted a psychiatrist to find out what Badrina was going through. After the divorce, there is no more attention to the problems experienced by the former partner.

Now Arshaka little understand the emotional state of Badrina today can not be separated from the difficult events in the past.

Arshaka came out of Badrina's room after she said she wanted to wash herself. In his room Arshaka also did the same thing so that his rest will not be disturbed because sweat is still attached to the body.

When Arshaka was about to rest, his mind shone on Badrina and Cantara. At that time, a notification message that turned out to be from Elmira.

[Sleeping, Shaka?]

[Yes, Mira. How much did that cost, how much was Mira? I'll transfer tonight] haul Arshaka straight to the tree.

[Ah you, just like everyone else. Let me pay, let's just say I'm practicing you guys] Elmira responded.

[Okay Mira then. I say thank you to you who have always been good to my family] Arshaka replied again.

Arshaka ends the text of the conversation, Elmira actually still wants to talk to Arshaka. However, given the time that was almost midnight, Elmira was unable to force Arshaka.

Elmira really feels like she has to get Arshaka at all costs. He was unable to express his feelings for Arshaka because he was born from an unequal family even though they were friends. For now, Elmira feels she has a lot of material that makes her more confident approaching her best friend.
