THE FORMER SHADOW

THE FORMER SHADOW
60. The Person Behind the Kidnapping

Badrina tells the chronological story that befell the Cantara with a whim. Arshaka just quietly listened to the good narration of Badrina.

While waiting for the results from the authorities, Arshaka began to think about who was behind the kidnapping of his daughter. There are several names that appear in his head as the suspected mastermind of the kidnapping.

"Who do you think did this? Is there anything you suspect?" tanya Arshaka blurted out his thoughts.

Badrina shook her head weakly. He was too heavy to think about the problems that occurred later, plus the problem of kidnapping Cantara, his brain was like it was going to break.

"You must be strong, I know the burden of your mind is many." Arshaka tried to empathize with Badrina who was looking at him wistfully.

"Too many bad people are around me" said Badrina, bowing her head. Badrina rubbed her cheeks, her tears never stopping. "They all probably want bad things to happen to me and Canta. I let my guard down" Badrina answered constantly blaming herself.

Badrina's words struck Arshaka's heart, her breath hard to pull. Arshaka looked closely at Badrina's look full of regret and deep sadness.

"If anything happens to Canta, I can't forgive myself. All because of my carelessness. I'm sorry...." Badrina cried again as she shook her head and patted her very sick chest.

Losing Cantara was the most difficult loss Badrina received. Did Badrina really have to lose her most valuable property, after all the so-called family even had a personal interest in her?

Badrina felt this was really a misfortune that made her go crazy right.

Badrina's intention to pick Cantara home from school was hindered by the evil intentions of others. Badrina felt useless as a mother, even though the bitter event was beyond Badrina's control.

Nuraini immediately approached and hugged Badrina who started beating herself up. Nuraini also cried with Badrina.

"Try to calm down, Rina. Don't think the no-no. The authorities are trying to find Canta" Nuraini said, wiping Badrina's arm.

Badrina's sobbing again subsided, Nuraini still continued to hold and stroked her shoulders. Slowly, Badrina became calmer. "Thank you, mama" he whispered sincerely as he closed his eyes in the arms of a mother.

For Badrina, Nuraini is a motherly figure both during her time as an in-law and former. Unfortunately, divorce breaks the relationship of in-laws. Nuraini's magnanimity is currently an oasis in the middle of the desert for Badrina.

The next day in a room, Cantara cried in fear over the sudden events that had befallen her. Right at the school gate yesterday, Cantara was carried and smothered from behind, had bitten by the hand of the person who carried him until he could scream calling Badrina earlier.

Cantara had heard stories about people who were taken away referred to as kidnappings. Cantara saw it on television, but she did not understand why it could happen to her. Cantara sat alone in a room that was 3 x 3 meters in size.

His school clothes and hair ties have been messy, not as neat as his time at school. Along the way Cantara thrashed and screamed for release until he reached.

The little girl was still as excited as a little cry called out to her mother and father in the white room without furniture, there was only a worn carpet where she was now sitting curled up.

In the vehicle on the way to the detention site, the person who kidnapped Cantara until feeling filled with sad and afraid face Cantara.

"What's the kid's fault?" a man asked another friend, looking at Cantara who had been covered with a white cloth.

Man in full black jacket tattooed on arm chiming. "It's none of our business. The important thing is to get paid and do the job."

"We've done as you will" reported a man without a tattoo named Juki. "The boy was in the room, still crying, a little calmer than before" he continued.

The young woman nodded, she was willing to return home from Switzerland to get the news that her mother, Poppy Alysa, was so shaken with the condition that it overturned with the habit of many years in luxury.

Which princess could have seen the mother angry, briefly then shouted and screamed, even slamming objects nearby. Even if their relationship is not an ideal relationship between mother and daughter, still she does not have the heart to witness the emotional disturbance of the biological mother who has given birth to her.

"Has he eaten?" ask Monera.

"Already, Mom," replied the man full of tattoos while bowing his body.

Monera nods her head, she is forced to do a heinous thing to warn Badrina that her actions to hurt her mother will get a costly reply, that is, her only daughter.

Monera is willing to leave Switzerland to monitor this kidnapping.

"As planned, you call Badrina for her daughter's redemption money. The woman already has everything, no matter what she asks she will definitely fulfill," Monera said, adding that she did not want her name mentioned in the ransom negotiations.

The words were taken by the two kidnappers. Monera got out, got in a car to a certain place.

The woman stopped at a mental hospital where Poppy was being treated. Some time later since getting a letter emptying the house, meaning Poppy does not have property anymore, Poppy's mind began to be attacked by anxiety, suddenly he often slammed whatever was nearby.

Poppy was angry with her condition and failed to control herself. He needs to be soothed with the help of depressant drugs from psychiatry.

Poppy should be placed alone in an isolation room because her aggressive and impulsive episodes can hurt others.

Monera came, looking from outside the room Poppy was being pacified by some nurses. His mother was experiencing an outburst of anger, not only nonverbally but also verbally.

Monera was asked to watch from afar, she did not have a harmonious relationship with her biological mother. Monera never shows up in person, worried that Poppy's anger drive will culminate by seeing her.

Monera clenched her hands, she hated the current state of affairs. He knew that his mother loved the treasure that was lost in an instant. Monera also did not deny that in order to get the inheritance of Badrina, her mother was willing to act manipulatively towards her adoptive cousin.

Monera had not cared about her mother's choices. He spent more time with his new family in Switzerland than visiting his mother.

There was a bit of regret in him for not expecting that Badrina cut the butter to Poppy. Giving Badrina a lesson, that's what Monera is doing now. After everything was settled, he would hand Cantara's redemption money to his mother and take her away to Switzerland.

Monera turned her body around and took her phone to contact someone.

"Asking for as many as 4 billion on Badrina. Say the transaction in two ways, bank and cash dollars," he ordered, turning his body back as he gazed towards the room containing his mother and the nurses.

Looks Poppy managed to calm down, taken to bed to be broken down, Poppy's body exhausted due to his explosive impulsive period.
