THE FORMER SHADOW

THE FORMER SHADOW
32. Arshaka to Badrina's House

Arshaka got off in a hurry after parking his vehicle in the courtyard of Badrina's house and closing back the fence. Without greeting, he immediately entered because the door was not locked.

No sound from his daughter from inside the house. Arshaka will wash his hands first in the kitchen and then go to Cantara's room to see the state of his daughter.

The kitchen merges with the dining room, Arshaka finds Badrina apparently with Cantara enjoying dinner.

"Papa..," Cantara realized the presence of her papa, then went down to walk towards Arshaka.

"Before a minute, darling, papa wash your hands first" he said rushing to the sink, after which Arshaka hugged his daughter.

"Let's go Pa, have dinner," asked Cantara to pull her hand to the bench that Arshaka used to sit on.

"Papa was sitting near Canta, yes" he said. Arshaka sees Badrina focusing on the food on her plate. He also sat beside Cantara, facing Badrina. He used to sit next to Badrina.

Badrina did not say much, even her head did not turn to Arshaka, just to say hello nor did he do.

Badrina completely obeyed what her aunt, Poppy, said to confine and restrain Arshaka. It was also done with a hard effort because it looks indifferent is not the actual type of Badrina.

Arshaka does not want to serve himself. She was waiting for Badrina to fill the plate with food for her.

"Mama, Papa's plate is still empty." Just between the sensitive, pointing at the plate in front of Arshaka.

"Papa can take it yourself, son," said Badrina with a forced smile, "this adds the side dish, Canta." Badrina instead fills into the Cantara plate.

A sense of smallness in Arshaka. He looked at Badrina who did not care about his presence. Badrina refocused on her dinner. His arrival seemed completely unexpected by Badrina. Badrina's attitude left disappointment in Arshaka.

After dinner, Badrina fixed the dining table and kitchen, while Arshaka and Cantara went to the living room to spend time together.

"Canta how's school, son? Yesterday I went to school, yes" asked Arshaka, slowly wanting to dig into the real situation.

"Good, Pa. Canta has a good teacher and also friends. Friend sitting near Canta his name is Nada Shiar good man, Pa," story Cantara cheerfully full of enthusiasm.

"Ep... What's the name of Canta's school, son? Papa. papa forgot," asked Arshaka pretending to be joking.

"Ah... Papa how the hell. The name of the school Canta, TK Tunas Bangsa," explained Cantara with confidence.

Arshaka gasps at the name of the different school with the initial purpose told by Badrina. His jaw tightened, his ex-wife completely decided this unilaterally.

Arshaka knew the school called by her daughter was not equivalent to Kindergarten Pelita Kasih Bunda in various ways. He had heard the story of the best Kindergarten in their city from Maulidya, when he decided to send Ameera some time ago.

The Cantara School is not currently included in it. Besides being only a few years old, it is also not a big school with many students.

Arshaka's mind tells him to ask Badrina as soon as Cantara goes to bed later that night so that he finds out why his ex-wife chose the usual school for Arshaka's beloved daughter.

Arshaka accompanied Cantara to play until eight o'clock at night, after which, they entered Cantara's room. Before going to bed, Arshaka took a book and read it, they also asked questions until Cantara was sleepy.

Towards the sound Cantara, the girl asked, "Papa, why not change clothes every time you come here? Always wear work clothes."

The slumbering Cantara, enveloped by Arshaka, replaced the lighting with a dimmer light so that her daughter could sleep well until tomorrow.

After Arshaka assures that all is safe, then he went out of the room immediately looking for Badrina.

Arshaka searches for Badrina to the corner of the house, unfortunately not finding Badrina everywhere; in the kitchen, dining room, living room, living room, living room, terrace and garage.

Saru-the only place Badrina had the chance to visit was her private room. However, Arshaka felt unworthy to go there. Arshaka decides to call Badrina on a cell phone call. Unfortunately, Badrina's cell phone is off.

Inevitably Arshaka stepped towards the room. The wall clock was almost pointed at nine o'clock in the evening, so he couldn't possibly linger waiting for Badrina to come out of the room. It could be that she won't even come out of her room again until tomorrow.

Arshaka knocked on the door of Badrina's room several times, he called out in a quiet voice, unfortunately there was no telling. Arshaka ventured inside. The door handle opened, the distinctive smell of Badrina out to the smell of Arshaka

Arshaka stood at the door to call Badrina. The woman was in the bathroom, the sound of water gurgling.

Arshaka entered by not closing the door, he chose to sit on the sofa while waiting for Badrina to come out of the restroom.

As he sat down and looked around the room, his mischievous thoughts waded through the past. On the occupied sofa and on the neat bed, in that place they once exchanged feelings with each other with loving eros.

Arshaka's breathing was heavy, he was a little agitated. Arshaka feels he has been presumptuous to enter Badrina's private room, before Badrina finds him in the room, Arshaka's intention immediately goes out of the room.

When she stood up, Badrina's phone shook without a sound on the table near the sofa she was sitting on. Arsahaka turned to the phone and read that there was an incoming call with the name Hafez Irsyad.

Arshaka's anxiety even becomes so, even containing other negative emotions. His past household memories collide with future predictions, in which Badrina meets the man named Hafez.

Spontaneously Arshaka cursed, he grabbed Badrina's phone and then refused Hafez's call, so Arshaka pressed the airplane mode on Badrina's phone that did not have a pin, so that the man is free to do anything to the phone.

Before the phone was put down, Arshaka's curious soul churned. His brain gave the command to his finger to press the messaging app on Badrina's phone.

It is very surprising for Arshaka because Hafez's message ranks first, Badrina pinned a message from Hafez on her phone. Meanwhile, the message from Arshaka itself ranks so much, even though they were communicating with each other.

Arshaka is increasingly difficult to think clearly about the message from Hafez he reads. He suspected Hafez was seriously approaching his ex-wife. Mix all the foreign flavors in Arshaka.

The man scooped his face, sat back down and leaned over to the sofa while covering his face with both hands. He needs to neutralize all the foreign flavors that are now eating away at him.

"You're doing it here! Very disrespectful!" hardik Badrina after coming out of the restroom.

Arshaka immediately opened the hand link on his face, he saw Badrina standing with an angry look, sounding less friendly in his hearing.

The man realized that he had no right to enter this room ever since he had pledged talaq to Badrina.

"I want to talk, so long waiting for you. I'm waiting in my old workspace," concluded Arshaka did not want to be denied. He passed from before Badrina, exited the room and then stepped into his study first.

The rumbling on Arshaka's chest thrashed out to be resolved, the cause of which was Badrina.
