THE FORMER SHADOW

THE FORMER SHADOW
27. Between Two Choices

Monday morning Badrina prepared to take care of Cantara's move to a new school. He left alone because he only took care of the administration. Cantara stayed at home accompanied by her nanny. If it has fulfilled all the completeness of the school transfer file, then Cantara actively studied.

Badrina enters a new school, she is greeted by a young female teacher who leads her to the headmaster. Some time waiting in the room, the principal came carrying a map labeled school in his hand.

Badrina stand. "Welcome Madam Badrina, please sit down," said the headmaster looking the same age as Badrina. Badrina smiled then sat down before the headmaster.

"Thank you Mom for choosing our school as a place for your kids to learn and play" the principal said with a smile. "We've studied the administration of Mother's daughter. We are pleased to accept Cantara Benazir as our learners. Hopefully Cantara can enjoy his daily life here with his teacher and his new friends," said the principal kindly.

Badrina rejoiced in her heart, feeling she found a suitable school for Cantara. They had talked about the problem that often attacked the child's psychics, the headmaster seemed to give attention to issues such as those experienced by Cantara. Yes, Badrina openly recounted the problems that Cantara had in her old school.

Badrina came home with good wishes for her son. Cantara has been allowed to enter school tomorrow.

For Cantara, while the period of orientation or introduction of the school so that the boy can feel comfortable in a new environment.

During the day during the office break, Arshaka asked the management of the Cantara school through a short message to Badrina. Badrina told me what it was with the potluck info.

There were some Arshaka questions relating to her, Badrina was not willing to reply. Only topics related to Cantara are served.

Although Badrina was quite economical to reply to his message, Arshaka still felt happy. For the affairs of the Cantara, Badrina was so total, Arshaka did not doubt it.

After work hours, Arshaka drove his car to Badrina's house. As his car was about to enter the yard, a vehicle came out. He needs to let the car out first then the car can get in.

Arshaka looks from the glass of his car, who is the figure behind the wheel of the car in front of him. Seen as a man waving at Badrina, Arshaka knows exactly who the owner of the car is.

As Badrina was about to close the gate, Arshaka's car advanced with a long horn. Badrina was surprised to hear a loud noise. He came out to see who did it, without opening the gate wide.

Seeing Arshaka coming, Badrina made the coldest expression possible.

"Rina, can the gate be opened?" asked Arshaka from the direction of the wheel.

"Don't make a fuss!" firmly Badrina while looking down.

"So your smile is so sweet on Danish, now so sour," Arshaka joked with a smile.

Badrina straightened her body and passed into the yard. Arshaka gets off the car worried Badrina will lock the gate.

Badrina apparently continued to walk towards the door of the house, forced Arshaka to push the gate himself so that his car could park in the yard.

Arshaka shook his head, not thinking that the woman who had lived with him eight years could also act without the excess emotions that are often shown to him. It was a little in Arshaka's heart.

Arshaka walked into the house greeted by the screams of his beloved daughter. The man hugged and held Cantara.

"What's papa's son?" asked Arshaka while walking towards the living room.

"So another lego, Papa. Lego new from om Danish," said Cantara honestly.

"Om Danish was here a long time ago?" tanya Arshaka drops off his daughter to return to playing lego.

"Ngga Pa, for a moment," replied Cantara, after sitting with her father.

The woman did not say a word, she returned to the kitchen to help the housekeeper prepare dinner. In the afternoon, his assistant will be back home.

"Ep... Son, every guest who comes later tell papa yes. Whose name, what kind of person," Pinta Arshaka negotiated with her daughter.

"What's the matter, Pa?" ask Cantara back.

"So that papa knows who is coming, papa' will often be busy working.  But, this is the secret of the two of us alone," Arshaka said as he scratched his suddenly itchy back head.

"Don't like to be busy. Mama so no friends," advises Cantara.

Arshaka smiled as the mangosteen agreed and then rubbed Cantara's head.

"Yes, Son. Thanks for the attention of papa and mama," said Arshaka while giving lego tower model to Cantara. The daughter cheered happily because her papa managed to compose one lego.

Arshaka thick face, for the sake of himself participating in dinner, he took advantage of the reason to accompany Cantara. Badrina could not resist.

The man used the ignorant Cantara with the condition of their marriage as an excuse to linger in Badrina's house.

As Arshaka was about to return home at about nine p.m., he saw Badrina get a call from Poppy.

"Hello Rina," said Poppy.

"Yes, Aunt. How are you?" ask Badrina.

Arshaka steals hear from behind the wall, curious about the talk of the aunt and nephew.

"Good news, Aunt. What's the night-night call, Auntie?" ask Badrina wonder.

"Ah.. this you. Aunty certainly wants to know about you and Cantara. Thank goodness, your news is good" replied Poppy politely. " Aunty wants to ask, with Arshaka you have requested a schedule of Canta visits? It's not good if you accept him every day in your home" he continued, trying to influence Badrina.

Badrina was nervous about her tantric judgment, "But we were just plain communication, Auntie. There is nothing superfluous" defended Badrina.

"Tante knows it, Rina. But who knows your neighbor judged another when the Arshaka went back and forth to your house. Moreover, you are starting to get close to Hafez, how did he judge you?" lontar Poppy blatantly.

Badrina turned moody, she went awry. Badrina felt on one side her son was always happy to accept Arshaka's presence. On the other hand, the tant was right. He should consider the judgment of others. Rarely did Badrina get a long call like this from her aunt, she felt noticed.

Badrina touched his forehead then rubbed it, a sudden sense of dizziness attacked, he was between two difficult choices.

"The arshaka.. eee. how would the aunt say. Especially when talking about personal issues. Masa' is still overshadowed by the former. He was the one who looked at you at that time." Badrina was made aware of the existing conditions. He recalled where Arsahaka confidently made the talaq pledge.

Not long after the conversation ended. Badrina convinced herself to be indifferent to Arshaka.

Behind the walls Arshaka clenched his hands, his jaw line grew stern. He was eager to smash his fist into the wall nearby.

But he can't do that. When Badrina saw, the woman would get further away from her. He was trying to stifle anger. Arshaka even bit his fist to the trace while sighing heavily.

She had guessed who was behind Badrina's drastically changed attitude towards her.
