In the afternoon after the mall, Badrina and Cantara returned home with happy hearts. There are storybook groceries in a tote bag brand of a large bookstore. Cantara got down from the taxi they were riding in, ran small to take shelter towards the big tree in front of the house afraid the luggage was hit by a drizzle, while Badrina came out after paying the fare.
Everywhere Badrina always used online taxis, even during being Arshaka's wife. No driver was provided by Arshaka at that time, Badrina was independent with public transportation that he used.
There were past events that scared him to drive. The bad experience was like incurable, he had an accident when he recently learned to drive at the age of 19 years. Since then Badrina always thought that he would hit anything while sitting on the steering wheel. Therefore, Badrina likes to use taxis and or public transportation anywhere.
Since the caretaker Cantara and ART had returned home, Badrina helped her daughter to clean up the groceries by compiling a storybook to the shelf to make it neat. He also accompanied Cantara to wash himself. Only then did Badrina do it for herself. Cantara trailed where Badrina went remembering outside the house of heavy rain.
It did not feel like dinner time arrived, Badrina and Cantara ate together as usual. Cantara no longer asked her father who rarely had dinner together. Cantara only knows her papa is super busy working so often miss dinner together.
In good heart condition after dinner, Badrina asked Cantara, "Canta, how do you want to go to school tomorrow, son?" Actually Badrina had plans to move Cantara from her school, but she still asked her son's opinion.
Cantara who was watching her new reading book seemed silent, while she thought hard.
"Ep... Ma's... Canta was afraid to meet Parama," said Cantara with a grimacing face, his book placed on the table. The discussion about school is becoming more interesting nowadays.
"Why?" search Badrina observed the ringing of her daughter.
"Parama often annoys Canta, Ma. Likes to say Canta's writing is ugly, Canta's picture is strange, also says papa and mama are divorced. Canta doesn't like Parama, Ma." Thunder from the outside sounded loudly along with the final sentence of Cantara, he was aghast until shifted and hugged his mother.
Badrina who was surprised was almost unsteady if not trying to balance the body.
"Sshh. There's a mama here, son." Badrina rubbed Cantara's back while permeating her son's words. He and Arshaka never knew that Cantara had suffered another bullying from Parama.
Badrina thought her daughter had been fine at school. Cantara never told me about Parama or other friends who behaved less pleasant.
Badrina did not want to discuss it more deeply, she knew that it was very unpleasant.
"Canta, Mama would like to ask... if Canta changes schools, would you?" badrina asked, bringing out the idea that had been kept in her heart.
Cantara responded after some time of thinking.
"Now. But, the school that his friends are good at is yes, Ma. Don't be like Canta's school," Pinta Cantara looked at her mother seriously.
"Canta won't miss friends?" tanya Badrina tried to shake her daughter's approval. Cantara broke her mother's embrace and sat down straight beside Badrina.
Badrina processed the meaning of her daughter's words, like going back in time when she was scared because of friends in elementary school who often nicknamed her "son of crazy people". That's not very comfortable.
"Tomorrow, Mama is going to Canta's school, Mama is going to take care of Canta's school move. Tomorrow Canta, Mama lives with my mother, son," Badrina explained as she stroked Cantara's arm slowly so that her intention reached the five-year-old boy.
Cantara nodded while forming a smile knot on her beautiful face. Badrina took Cantara to the room to rest. Since returning home from the hospital, Badrina now often brought Cantara to sleep with him.
Badrina is getting more comfortable to get close to Cantara. He was able to see there were similarities between his childhood and his daughter. He is determined to explore and heal his past in order to accompany Cantara through his difficult times. Badrina felt as a child less emotionally supported by those closest to her.
Not long to lay down, Cantara was asleep calm. Badrina got out of bed, reading some of the new books she bought, called Inner Child Discovery Journey Workbook by Agnese Iskrova. A workbook that invites readers to enter into personal life into the past to get to know the real self.
There are many questions that must be answered honestly by the reader, indeed to follow the guidelines of the workbook it requires free time because it needs depth of thought and then write the answer.
As Badrina was enjoying the reading, her phone vibrated on the table. Badrina looked up, there was a voice call from someone.
Badrina grabbed her phone and walked out of the bedroom. "Hello, Auntie," said Badrina.
"Rina, auntie wants to remind you Saturday to meet Hafez at the restaurant Nuansa Biru at 7 pm, yes." That's a call from Poppy. Women who call Badrina always go straight to the core once their calls are connected.
"Yes, Auntie, I remember the day after tomorrow right," Badrina said.
"Good then. Cantara does not need to be invited, you leave it first to your former in-laws or Arshaka," Poppy ordered, without asking Badrina about her daughter.
"Loh, why, Auntie? Cantara will not interfere with the meeting later" explained Badrina. He objected to leaving Cantara.
"Ck, don't argue with Auntie. How hard is it to obey Auntie? It doesn't pity you that Canta gets in the night breeze and your conversation won't let him understand" Poppy bursts forth, the prettiest, as Badrina refutes her orders.
Badrina sighed deeply, unable to do anything else, other than reply, "Yes, Auntie."
"Good, be a submissive child." Not long after the call was interrupted, more precisely sepiha disconnected by Poppy. Badrina's hands drooped with her cell phone, I don't know what will happen on Saturday.
Badrina is not familiar with the name Hafez Irsyad, his tantric friend, only ever heard of the name. A young businessman who often changes partners because he is not married. His name is occasionally included in online artist news, rumored to be close to the public of certain figures. Badrina never studied what her figure was like, only on Saturday did they meet for the first time.
Badrina no longer eagerly continued her reading, she left her phone outside the room, not wanting to be bothered by another call. Badrina enters the room and settles down with Cantara following into the dreamland.
