55. Counteracts Taste

Currently, Poppy was sitting opposite Badrina. Poppy came to Badrina to beg her to love her and to give her a place to stay.

"Tante knew, didn't Papa give it to me, and then give it to me?" badrina said sharply. Badrina sat up with her body and chin straightened.

Poppy came to Badrina's house. He rarely visits this house, if there is interest alone as it is today.

"Tante knows, Rina. Don't you feel sorry for Auntie?" persuade Poppy to humble herself, having no other way.

Two days ago, he got a call from Akmal to have his house vacated in a week. The first letter of the transfer in less than a month was surprising to Poppy. The news over the phone that asked him to vacate the house in less than a week, more made him panic half to death.

"Pity?" cynical Badrina looked down at her aunt, sitting while scuttering.

"Tante has pity on me for 29 years? I need to remind you, Auntie - ruin - my mentality." she said slowly like spelling. Badrina was very angry with her aunt, but her wits were still healthy. He will not hurt himself with anger.

"I know the rottenness of Auntie, invites Arshaka to damage my mentality, targeting me to go crazy. Isn't that right, Auntie?" badrina. He demands Poppy to reveal the truth.

Poppy is shocked to hear Badrina learn her rotten secret.  "That's a lie!" elaknya trying to run away from reality, "cannot be aunty as bad as that," continued Poppy again with a serious look clear.

"If aunty alone can silence papa's will for years, of course aunty can do other evil things" Badrina said. Poppy was getting cornered, she did not expect that Badrina was able to throw sharp sentences at her.

"I'll give you a week to get out of my house. Also the farm and the plantation that my father gave me will take," he said, looking the other way. This was Badrina's way of teaching aunty who had bad intentions for her for many years.

"You have the heart of the man who raised you!" hardik Poppy upon hearing that all the possessions he managed would be taken by Badrina. "I'm sorry I've raised a snake child like you" Poppy chanted angrily as she pointed at Badrina.

Actually Badrina could not bear to say it all, but Poppy already could not be given mercy. The middle-aged woman's heart had indeed been rotted away by worldly treasures. Badrina finally chose to close her compassionate heart with an attitude of indifference to the continuation of Poppy's life.

It is time for Aunt Poppy to return to her original state, Badrina thought.

"Aunty. I know papa left a will of treasure for aunt too. Don't think I'm bad for aunty." Badrina turned her head again towards her aunt. "Where are all the treasures, Auntie? Exhausted? For fun and fun? Even Monera, aunty's son, left the aunt for Switzerland. Does he not live with aunty? And, I'm the only one who still considers a family aunt. That was like slapping Poppy's face. He was struck by the fact that only Badrina cared about him all this time. His biological son went all the way to Switzerland to live independently. However, he never considered Badrina to be a family.

"There's no need for aunty to cry now" Badrina stared at Poppy's crying face. Badrina looked at the wall clock. "I have an appointment with Mr. Akmal in a moment, if there is no more business.Aunte can leave this house," said Badrina without having to think about courtesy again.

"Don't let aunty be a badass on the streets, Rina. Poor auntie," isak Poppy begged to fold her hand at Badrina.

Badrina cared not only for his ears, but his heart as well. Seeing Poppy not getting out of her seat, Badrina stepped open the door. "Please come out, Auntie," he said.

Poppy was still crying in her seat. Badrina can't wait to see the drama that is being played by his aunt, he will not be fooled again. Manipulative ways have often been shown by his tant, Badrina solidly with his stance.

"Please come out, Auntie," again, sergeant Badrina. "Or don't you want the authorities to drag the aunt? I'm thankful I didn't report aunty, so don't make me mad at aunty," exasperated Badrina, her clenched hands almost lost patience.

With a shunt, Poppy passed Badrina. He turned to Badrina with tears, trying to convince Badrina that it had changed.

Badrina's body leaned against the door, pouring it all the way to the floor. Badrina was crying, being evil was not her lifestyle. It turned out that the niche refused to act rudely because Badrina still had compassion. Badrina patted her chest softly which was even sad.

Badrina took a deep breath, trying to calm the sad rumble of her heart. He tried not to falter in his decision against Aunt Poppy. Where to stay, it's none of Badrina's business.

These two days, Cantara stayed at Nuraini's house. For two days Cantara did not meet Badrina. Cantara thought her mother had gone far out of town, but did not invite her even without saying goodbye.

Cantara remained in school, unfortunately his spirit was reduced due to longing for Badrina. Cantara needs Badrina by her side, her mom and best friend.

On the second day, Cantara asked her father to contact Badrina, but Badrina refused to connect with Arshaka on her mobile phone. Arshaka understands that Badrina still holds anger towards him.

In the office, Arshaka did not focus on reading the paperwork as a corporate manager. The problem with Badrina became complicated, after her confession that night.

Arshaka's phone rang, a message from Maulidya came in.

[Hello Mas Shaka, how are you?]

[Good news].

The man replied short and did not ask any other questions.

Maulidya sent another message.

[Mas, Ameera is sick, not in school. Not been to the apartment for a long time.].

Arshaka gasps at Maulidya's message as she suddenly disappears and never again greets Ameera into the apartment.

[Later in the afternoon I stopped by the apartment, there is something I want to tell you as well.]

[Yes, you have to work].

Arshaka closed the conversation without waiting for Maulidya to answer.

Maulidya is happy to read Arshaka's planned arrival to her apartment. Maulidya stepped into her son's room lying on break, telling him the good news.

"Later Papa Shaka comes, son. You don't have to worry anymore" he said, wiping Ameera's forehead and hair affectionately.

"Meera was happy to hear it, Ma."

"Mom get something ready for papa first, yeah. You rest to be healthier."

Maulidya believes Arshaka will come to bring pleasure to his daughter. Gegas Maulidya exited Ameera's room towards the kitchen while humming to prepare a treat to welcome Arshaka who had not visited for a long time.
