THE FORMER SHADOW

THE FORMER SHADOW
53. Akmal Eyandri

As promised, Arshaka takes Badrina to meet someone. In recent days Badrina always urged Arshaka to meet with people who are said to know the figure of Poppy quite well.

The dilemma of Arshaka is getting stronger. He can only give himself up on what happens next.

A narrow time was used Arshaka to convince Badrina of her seriousness to return to be Badrina's life companion. Only, Badrina who focused on wanting to meet a figure who knew about Poppy made Badrina approve all Arshaka's remarks.

The pace of vehicles slowed to enter the office building that had been vacant because the appointment was held in the afternoon before night. It is seen that the building employees are not crowded the office area.

"Are you sure you'll hear it all?" arshaka asked as she clasped Badrina's right fingers while they were in the lobby of the building.

Badrina nodded with a faint smile stretched out on her face. They were both led to one particular room after reporting an arrival at the reception.

A man in glasses was waiting for their arrival. "Welcome Mr. Arshaka and Mrs Badrina," he said politely. "let's sit down, please" his bargain pointed at the sofa.

Badrina and Arshaka sat next to each other, facing each other with the man who immediately flipped through the documents as he sat down.

"My name is Akmal Eyandri" he said. He introduced himself and delivered his work. Badrina did not know the bespectacled man in front of her at all, although she said they had met at the Poppy mansion when Badrina was a child.

There is not the slightest memory of Badrina regarding the figure of the man she met now. Meeting many years ago, vaguely shaded in Badrina's memory.

"I was contacted by Mr. Arshaka. Long before this actually I have wanted to meet with Badrina's mother, but I find it difficult to know where the mother is," Akmal explained.

Arshaka cleared her throat along with Badrina's mind, which was astonished at Akmal's difficulty finding her, while Akmal knew her ex-husband. He certainly lived with Arshaka when he was husband and wife. Badrina chose silence to listen to the continuation of someone who works as a family legal advisor.

"Oh. I'm sorry," said Akmal, did not explain what he said sorry for.

"I've known both of Badrina's parents for a long time. To this day I am in charge of legal matters in the Wriatmaja family," he said. Badrina nodded in understanding Akmal's words. He could see Akmal's age as his late father.

"The age of the baby, Badrina's mother was left behind by Mr. Wriatmaja who went home first and was cared for by the mother. However, because the mental health condition of Ms. Wriatmaja was shaken after the death of the father, then the upbringing was done by Poppy Alysa's mother," he continued to explain details of Badrina's origin. Up here, Badrina can understand because her family history was once told by Poppy to her.

"Mr Wriatmaja left the asset and has separated it in a will. Mr. Wriatmaja's request was presented to Badrina's mother five years ago when she had married and given birth to a child." Akmal paused his sentence, peering behind the glasses how the expression of the ex-husband and wife before him. No one interrupts after a while.

Akmal again continued, "I apologize because after five years pass will only convey the contents of the will of the late Mr. Wriatmaja."

As Akmal was about to recite, Badrina interjected, "Why be delayed, Mr Akmal? Why wait five new years now delivered?"

"Sorry.this is the request of Poppy Alysa's mother," Akmal said frankly.

"Auntie Poppy?" badrina asked in surprise, Akmal nodded. "But, why?" continued Badrina with a squeak on her forehead a sign of not understanding the reason for the delay of the will.

Akmal and Arshaka looked at each other again. Akmal raised his voice, "Mother Poppy asked for the reading of the will to be suspended."

"Reason?"

"Mother Poppy still wants to take care of Badrina's mother's will" Akmal said.

"Say it clearly, Mr. Akmal. Taking care of my part's will, what does that mean?" tugut Badrina. Arshaka touched and gently patted the back of Badrina's hand, as if asking for more patience.

"Poppy's mother wanted Badrina's mother's will to remain with her, not move. Until five years passed, the last time I contacted him asking not to delay again, but I was instead invited to change the will that contained all the wills for Badrina's mother to belong to Mother Poppy completely," beber Akmal's. "And I refuse."

Badrina was surprised to find the facts conveyed by Akmal. "But why did Aunt Poppy want to rule over all my parts? And what is my part? Much?" his pedicab. "I'm sorry I don't know who my father and mother are. Aunt Poppy never told me so deeply."

Akmal understands why Poppy didn't tell him what really happened. There was no reason for her to delay revealing what Badrina was part of.

"For Badrina's mother was not the biological child of Mr. Wriatmaja and the mother. Badrina's mother was adopted from a friend we don't know where she is today" Akmal replied, no longer covering up the truth. "Mother Poppy was given a part by Mr. Wriatmaja as a younger sibling and also for his late mother as a wife. Unfortunately, Mr. Wriatmaja's wife did not long experience a great shock, then followed home. At the first reading of the will, he had said that his share would be handed over to Badrina's mother and witnessed by Poppy's mother as well" Akmal said.

Like a heavy object, Badrina was surprised to hear the fact that she was the foster child of the parents she missed. Badrina's bead glazed over Akmal's words, slowly understanding how Poppy took care of him in a compulsion to pursue the property given to her by her father and mother, though not her biological child.

"Continue" said Badrina, trying hard to hear the facts of her past.

"When the mother came home, all parts of Badrina's mother were taken care of by Poppy's mother. I can't do much, as I said earlier it's not easy to find Badrina's mother."

"What are my parts?" ask Badrina. Akmal submitted a will document containing whatever was part of it. Badrina was astonished by the many treasures such as the land, companies, plantations, and farms left for her including the mansion Poppy currently lives in.

Badrina chuckled, laughing at her own fate. "It's worth aunty Poppy being nice to me, but on the other hand being evil and mentally damaging to me. Here is written I must dehat mentally in order to be able to manage all the relics of my adoptive father well, though the aunt so often tried to make my mental waver until I did not know if ever do right in front of him." Badrina laughed with tears.

Memories after memories alternately enter the mind of Badrina. How Poppy treated her verbally. His fate was so bad because the person he trusted was only chasing after relics.

"Then, why didn't Mr Akmal look for me? Mr Akmal has known how long with Arshaka? I was Arshaka's wife before we divorced some time ago" Badrina said. He felt that each other had a common thread, some things were still hidden or hidden from him.
