THE FORMER SHADOW

THE FORMER SHADOW
58. Badrina's Heart

Badrina's mind was too raging, the barrage of bad events startled her.

With the divorce status between Badrina and Arshaka, Badrina should not feel as sad as she is right now. Remembering they are not tied to a sacred relationship at this time.

A sorry cry accompanied by a blaring laugh escaped Badrina's lips, she laughed at her stupidity.

Badrina feels weak when it comes to Arshaka, a man who is hard to get rid of from her life. The man who later said love to her, made a shiver of taste in her heart, a moment later she was crushed by the bitter reality.

So thirsty for affection made Badrina believe that Arshaka was serious about getting married again.

Badrina locked herself in a room since last night. As she exits Arshaka's apartment, her ex-husband chases her and begs Badrina for an explanation.

The vehicle that Badrina was riding was even chased by Arshaka to stop. However, Badrina insisted on asking the driver to speed up the vehicle.

The rebahan is the way Badrina relaxes her body, an empty look towards the ceiling of the room indicates Badrina has not felt relaxed. Tears still pass through the tip of the cheek near the ear.

Badrina sobbed, feeling her chest hit by an invisible heavy burden. What's he supposed to do now?

The knock on the door interfered with Badrina's contemplation, suggesting that Muryati was delivering food to her, even though the dishes in her room were still filled. Badrina has a lack of appetite.

The knocking of the door kept Badrina coming down from the bed to the door of her room, stepping with a shuntai body.

Badrina opened the lock and door of the room, her eyelids swelling from crying all night.

"Here...."

Badrina stared at Danish, spontaneously hugging a friend who arrived at her house in the afternoon just the day after the incident in the apartment.

Back Badrina sobbed loudly in the arms of Danish. Danish tried to calm Badrina down with a gentle swipe on her back.

During the day during work break, Arshaka looks for Danish in his room to ask for help.

"Gue needs your help again, Dan," Arshaka said as soon as he entered the Danish room.

"Lo any problem, Shaka?" ask Danish saturated. He was astonished that Arshaka's life was so full of trouble and drama that the Danish had to intervene.

"Rina last night met Maulidya and broke everything" Arshaka said in a panic, recalling the incident in the apartment last night.

Danish fell silent, imagining how shocked Badrina was when she found out there was a woman whose life was so noticed by her ex-husband. About Maulidya, Arshaka has told Danish everything.

The sound of a heavy snort of breath escaped from Danish's nose. "Sooner or later Aini will know."

"Gue felt he hated me even more, Dan. Now it's hard for me to reach even Canta has never been contacted. My son kept crying asking for his mother, "sorry Arshaka rubbed his temple.

"Gue asked for help, persuaded Rina to meet Canta.".

Danish sighed heavily, really heavy case that Arshaka experienced. However, it's wrong to play with fire, Danish thought.

"Gue tried to persuade Aini to meet Canta, hopefully by looking at Canta, Aini's state is better," Danish positive response. "But, I can no longer push Aini to accept you, the load is too heavy. I was afraid, she ended up like her mother" Danish continued.

With a heavy heart, Arshaka nodded.

Arshaka finally chose to give up to fight for himself to be accepted by Badrina. Not because Arshaka does not want to, but Badrina's mentality can really be destroyed if Arshaka constantly insists on pursuing Badrina's love.

Arshaka was ready when Badrina would finally bury all the memories among them. In reality there were only a few good memories, the rest were bitter and cruel.

Danish did not force Badrina to voice her grunts or burdens in her heart. When Badrina is ready to tell a story, Danish is ready to listen.

"I have driven my own tant from Papa Wriatmaja's house" Badrina began the conversation, after no tears had been spilled on her cheeks.

"My cousin, Monera, begs to have a little compassion on her mother. I care about my feelings. Monera and Aunt Poppy hurt me in such a way as a child" Badrina said, recalling the past.

Silence again enveloped the atmosphere between them.

"But Dan... You know? I'm getting hurt by forcing myself to hate Monera and Aunt Poppy." Badrina's voice was shaking almost crying. "I can't Danish, I blame myself." Tears trickled back, too much pain Badrina remembered her tant, to the point that calling her name made tears spill.

"I slapped Arshaka who had been lying to me for years. I did not want to listen to her defense, even I ignored Cantara to make Arshaka hurt," Badrina fretted about how to repay her heartache.

"But, I...." Badrina wiped her tears. "I'm getting hurt. I don't know what I want, when the pain has tried to reply as soon as possible," continued Badrina while covering her face with both hands.

Danish looked towards Badrina. From the side, the man was able to see the elation of Badrina's heart.

Danish assess Badrina's mental did not succeed in being damaged, although the pain had been experienced from childhood. Danish concluded, Badrina's sincerity saved her from hatred. Unknowingly, Badrina's inner self resisted the resentment of dominating her soul.

"You're a good man, too good, Rina," Danish said, with a smile on her face.

Badrina. "You're taunting me?" asked Badrina with a cynical pangs and then looked back at the pond in the garden.

Danish took a deep breath, her sad face became cheerful after seeing that the friend before her was special.

"No. I'm not getting sucked up" said Danish laughing. "You want to repay your heartache, but you're getting hurt. Your soul rejected it, didn't it? Because such a style does not grow from you, but the emotional side that runs your ego" Danish explained.

"I'm not going to give you any advice because you already know what makes you treated to recover," said Danish still smiling staring at the pool.

"Arshaka is lucky to have married you, without him realizing your sincere attitude makes him turn from the man who was hurt by the failure of love, cold, full of lies, he said, no matter what the other person becomes a man who pursues love and dares to be honest whatever the risk," some Danish with the oddity shows the privilege of Badrina is not something worth dealing with.

"But that's how it is, regret always comes later," continued Danish turned to Badrina.

"After he dared to be honest, it turned out to hurt you a lot. He told me 'prefer to give up fighting for love, if it makes you come back cheerful and alive'" said Danish and then let out a long sigh.

Badrina turned to Danish. "You know where it came from? Did he say that?" asked Badrina looking for answers.

Danish nodded in confirming Badrina. "He also asked me to persuade you to meet Cantara, because the boy needs you. He said 'Canta misses you a lot', '" Danish said Arshaka. Danish did not want to be an adviser to Badrina, he just forwarded the message.

Hearing the name of her beloved daughter, Badrina was unable to hold back her cries, sobbing escaped her lips again.

"Canta."

"Arshaka says Canta is safe in his mother's house, he misses you often asking and crying."

"Arshaka also apologizes to you, has hurt you from the beginning of marriage until now. He won't bother you anymore."

Danish words even made Badrina's chest tight and rumbling, as if the niche of the heart refused hard.

Is it true that Badrina's choice to hate Arshaka and avenge her heartache was a mistake?

Danish stood up, stepped closer to the pond, throwing fish food grains from his packing spoon. Then turned the body facing Badrina. "You know what you have to do to win your inner war" Danish said patting Badrina on the shoulder slowly.

"I'm saying goodbye, tonight I have an appointment to meet a friend. If you need a storymate, I'm ready to listen" he said. Danish stepped into the house towards the front porch, leaving Badrina with her reflection alone.
