THE FORMER SHADOW

THE FORMER SHADOW
62. Warm

Arshaka had prepared the funds demanded by the kidnappers in dollars. He was looking for a box car to carry the 4 billion rupiah in demand.

The night before, Badrina was contacted again. The transfer scenario turns into cash.

"You sold all your assets?" badrina asked fretfully when Arshaka told her that she would hand over the funds at the request of the kidnapper.

"I still have a job, I can still make a living, I'm still healthy" Arshaka said in an optimistic tone.

Nuraini looked pityfully at her son who would go bankrupt if he handed the ransom to his daughter's captors.

"Why not let me help?" ask Badrina lirih. His eyes were heating up as well grieving the conditions that were attacking them at this moment.

"If I say 'because you love me.' you don't believe ' right?" tukas Arshaka while sniffing his shoulders, looking at Badrina. "I love Canta, later if I don't have anything else, it's your duty to bear Canta" he continued.

Arshaka's words seemed to be an unwritten agreement between them.

For a moment Badrina was concerned to hear it, then misbehaved to hear Arshaka's spontaneous confession, glimpsed by her former mother-in-law.

Nuraini who was sad was slightly comforted by the conversation of the two young people.

"You're at your mom's house first, if you go back to Papa Wriatmaja's house, worried that someone has no good intentions for you" Arshaka said while tinkering with his phone.

Again Badrina's heart was like flying and her face warmed. Arshaka's words seemed to imply concern for his ex-wife.

"I'm going to the office this morning. During the break, these funds will be handed over at the location they requested." Arshaka continued his words.

"Can I come in later this afternoon?" badrina asked, her gaze expectantly.

Arshaka. "no need. You will be carried away when you see Canta and we do not know what will happen later" Arshaka refused.

Hearing his daughter's name, Badrina's bead glazed over. She wondered if her daughter was being treated well or not by her captors.

Badrina is afraid that Cantara will become a victim of abuse because it will last a lifetime.

No power Badrina held back her tears. His swollen eyes will get even more swollen if crying continues. His sleep was less, visible from the blackened eye circumference.

Arshaka felt sorry for his ex-wife. How much pain he experienced.

Arshaka approached where Badrina was sitting. He patted the back of his ex-wife's hand.

"Pray for Canta to return safely." Arshaka confirms Badrina.

The woman tried to resist the cries that came out shamelessly. The sound sounded so heartbreaking.

Arshaka moved to widen his arms and held Badrina in his chest. Unable to bear the taste of Arshaka, he rubbed Badrina's arm, even daringly peeping the top of Badrina's head.

Apologies never came from Badrina's lips, but Arshaka seemed to believe that his ex-wife was not a vengeful hateful in the heart. However, to receive Arshaka back is not an easy matter to remember the past actions that hurt Badrina.

Tears poured down Badrina's cheeks. They were very afraid of losing the Cantara.

Watching the ex-husband and wife, Nuraini also saddened, he also dissolved in tears. Not long after, Nuraini moved away, giving both of them time.

"You... too. returned home safely..," isak Badrina. He held Arshaka's shirt as firmly as fear of losing Arshaka.

Badrina, who was once just a little stamped, now wrapped her arms around Arshaka's body. "I.. fear.." he continued softly, he shook his head. His face was buried in Arshaka's chest. Two people who had been present warming up his days were in a threatened condition, Badrina regretted not being able to do much.

Badrina was sobbing in view of the living conditions that were always tested by trial after trial, as if she had no right to feel her normal sense of being human in a touch of serenity.

Although Badrina's voice was vague and small, Arshaka was still able to catch the contents of the mother's words from her daughter.

The swipe stopped on Badrina's arm. Her eyes stared in any direction, thinking deeply about the meaning of Badrina's 'fear' words'.

"What are you afraid of?"

"Fear of losing Cantara and."

Arshaka was touched to hear it, for him Badrina's sentence became an encouragement to free Cantara. Arshaka did not want to think too much at the moment.

"You won't lose Cantara. Nor will you lose me, as long as you keep it in your heart" Arshaka said, encouraging Badrina.

Arshaka did not necessarily draw conclusions on Badrina's remarks that could lead to misunderstandings between them.

Badrina pulls out of Arshaka's arms. He lifted his head, their gazes were rubbed. "Please promise me you'll come home safe, too" Badrina's tree. His hand rests on Arshaka's arm.

The menacing fear made Badrina forget about her problem with Arshaka who was previously wrapped tightly.

Arshaka drowned in Badrina's shady bead. His lips were mute, just answering 'yes' was no longer able.

"Shaka. promise --"

Badrina's speech was cut short when Arshaka suddenly pulled Badrina's face full of interest to blend in. He did it to Badrina slowly with all his heart.

The longing for Badrina seemed to be resolved. Arshaka's desire is soaring at the wrong time.

The breath of the two is simple to enjoy the strains of a longing heart.

Arshaka consciousness approached his brain that was almost covered in passion. "Sorry..sorry...." Arshaka took off Badrina, he jerked himself back.

Arshaka feels bad going on with Badrina.

Meanwhile, Badrina just froze in place. The sweet taste that used to come is still the same. Arshaka's scent was also strong in Badrina's memory.

"I didn't mean to....." Arshaka explained his mistake. Her hands moved in panic, worried Badrina was offended and angry.

"I reflex..," he explained again. "I'm sorry" Arshaka felt guilty for going too far and inappropriate for his ex-wife.

"Yes, it doesn't matter. Thank you for comforting me" said Badrina, contrary to all Arshaka's allegations.

Badrina smiled. Arshaka was worried about the sense that was stirring within him. It is not good if he lingers with Badrina alone. He could have killed his ex-wife.

"Ba.. alright.I go to the office first. Stay with mom for a while" Arshaka said. He left Badrina alone in her chair.

Arshaka stepped out towards his four-wheeled vehicle. Her clothes that had been dull and wet from Badrina's tears were no longer ignored.

Arshaka drove on without saying goodbye again with Nuraini. He thought he should keep a distance from Badrina after this because his lust side even squirms when close to his ex-wife.
