The Necromancers

The Necromancers
Ch. 48:Outside Interference

The Regard POV

It's really bad.

Stahark possesses abilities and powers that exceed the natural limits of other creatures, just like my Necromancer abilities.

What makes me curious is where and how he got a number of strengths and abilities that he can use easily without knowing where to get those strengths and abilities, that is what I need to understand.

Thinking for a moment, I was now in a void room where there was not a single sign of the existence of a living being but only me alone, I might call it the Dimension of Shilph, I might call it, that's what I used before on one of my clones.

A moment ago.

When he managed to destroy all three of my previous clones that attacked him from three directions; left-right and back, I had time to use [Transparency] and [Shadow Clone] to escape to the back, he said, creating the [Dimension Portal] I got from Shilph, I entered it to escape first from the fight.

Indeed I know that running away is a cowardly act that cannot continue the fight, but wouldn't it be strange to call it a fair fight between us?

My point is how Stahark manipulated all his abilities and powers, I don't think he really intended to use his true abilities and powers against me but to play games with me, that's what pisses me off at him.

Forget about that. Now all I need to do is return or settle down in the Shilph Dimension, both of which I must think carefully about.

Suppose I come out of the Shilph Dimension, I doubt that Stahark thinks I'm gone. It's possible that he waited for me outside and then greeted me with an unexpected barrage of attacks, I would be overwhelmed in the face of it.

If I had chosen to settle in the Shilph Dimension, I doubt if I let Stahark think I was dead, he might have escaped somewhere else, destroying this place easily with the people trapped in it, I will remain unnoticed by him or my friends who are outside waiting for my arrival, I failed to get out of this place.

"Dam. Too many things I need to think about carefully."

So many, I have absolutely no idea how to deal with it in a situation like this.

"alright. Time for me to help them."

"What do you mean, Mrs Ryadu?"

Inside the oversized tent that exceeded the other tents, an old grandmother with a bowed body who walked slowly like a snail leading out the door, a wooden stick leading her made it easy to walk.

Before being able to stop his steps, the old grandmother, Nek Ryadu who turned his gaze towards them, smiled for a moment to make them curious as to what he was going to do, he immediately resumed his path forward, to the spot where the clear water flow still visible in the former drain had dried up to become wet, Nek Ryadu stopped.

"Maybe you'll get into that place again?"

"Can't, Madam. If you go inside that place then who will take care of and help us, right, everyone?"

"That's right."

"Please forgive us for the mistakes we've made, ma'am."

"Punish us!"

Hearing all the elves who prevented him from acting rashly, they were willing to do anything despite prostrating before the elf elder, apologizing to him, their hope, was, the elves were that they did not want to lose the leader a second time just like before in the Elf Village, they were willing to do anything to protect Nek Ryadu, the only leader that no one could replace.

Nek Ryadu who had fallen silent earlier, he raised his head to the ceiling of the basement room, laughing amusedly at their unreasonable words, he turned his body to them, he turned his back on them, looking at all the elves who were paying attention to him.

"Listen to me, everyone, do I have any intention of going to their place, a place where the difficulty level is high beyond the ruins I have ever explored?"

Asking them about the wish done by Nek Ryadu, the other elves who were behind fell silent. Some whispered to each other with a friend beside him, and others pondered his words, thinking for a moment, Nek Ryadu who noticed him only shook his head once.

"I have no intention of doing so. Even if there is, I plan to undo my intentions because it will endanger my safety and my life, as well as the lives of you elves who have lost their leaders."

Walking up to one of the couples in front of him, directed at the wooden stick that hit the burly belly owned by the brown-skinned male elf, Nek Ryadu displayed a smile on his face that was facing him.

"Maybe I can hand it over to you, but I don't intend to hand it over so quickly and then retire in the first place."

"Yes, you're right, ma'am."

"Well, after all, you are our greatest leader."

"Congratulations to our old leader, Mrs Ryadu!"

Cheers were made simultaneously by other elves who made a pair of lovers who were near Nek Ryadu showed a smile full of happiness over the trust given by Nek Ryadu to them to replace his leadership later on in a when he decided to retire.

"alright. I think it's enough to talk."

He turned his back and walked closer to the whirlpool still visible in the five whirlpools before him, Nek Ryadu who knocked on his wooden stick three times made the five previously visible whirlpools become one in a huge whirlpool like no other to behold.

If one of the elves approached the vortex and gawked down to find out its depth, the elf would fall and get stuck in a different place, the place where Stahark lived and lived all this time that could make it difficult to return alive without injury or loss of life.

I hope this helps you.

After saying that from the bottom of his heart, Nek Ryadu turned his body and walked up to the crowd of elves who were silent watching him, he who initially looked serious displayed a smile on his face.

"Let's go back and make a festive meal for their arrival."

Hearing the confident words from Nek Ryadu, all the elves who heard it full of high spirit shouts, they rushed back to their tents, checking the supply of meat, vegetables, and vegetables, and the fruits to be served on them when they arrived later, all the elves were busy, except for Nek Ryadu who was still silent in his place.

The only thing Nek Ryadu still does not understand is not about Stahark but a man who is easily absent, the thought of Nek Ryadu opposing that he died easily is natural.

Regardless of the class he possessed as a Necromancer, the eternal class that allowed anyone to not be able to pass easily, this was completely beyond Nek Ryadu's expectations.

Whether Nak Necromancer was planning something unexpected or vice versa, Nek Ryadu was curious about it.

Although he was curious about what he would do, sooner or later he would find out later. Even if it cannot be known to use [Clairvoyant] who can predict the future easily, Nek Ryadu will still ask this to him later after helping them even though there is little assistance he does.

•••••

Cracks suddenly formed on each of the red garnet, walls, and ceiling of the room followed by a high vibration that shook the entire place made Stephani and Sasaki who were tracing the corridors of the palace, they were silent for a moment, wondering what really happened, they were completely confused.

"It's...."

"Impossible..."

As cracks crept across the floor, Stephani and Sasaki saw cracks in the red garnet, the open walls and ceilings of the room that plunged them into the abyss of darkness that lay beneath them, they fell rapidly.

"Sadly.this cannot be allowed."

Flapping his black wings that stretched wide, Stephani who flew while avoiding the chunks of rock that fell down, he as much as possible focused on his self-protection so as not to fall along with the chunks of stone that hit him.

Likewise with Sasaki, he who directed his arms down activated [Flame Shield], making a circle-shaped protector capable of destroying the chunks of stone that would overlap his body, making a circle-shaped shield capable of crushing the chunks of stone that would overlap his body, he was able to survive thanks to the ability of the Goddess of Wolf who controlled Sasaki's body.

Unlike the two girls who survived, Friya, Reita, and Fuuya who were still unconscious fell down into the abyss of darkness along with the ruins of the building that became the foundation of [Golden Castle].

"Damn it. How dare he destroy and screw it all up."

Biting his finger at what he saw through the crystal display, the hated Stahark for the unknown help meddling into their troubles, he would neither forgive him nor let it go.

As long as they were trapped in a different dimension, Stahark changed his intentions and goals, he decided to eliminate and finish them all off quickly, he will not let any of them escape in good health or get out of this place alive.

"....."

Still in the dark room that no one was in, crossing his arms across his chest while pondering for a moment, Regard still could not decide at all.

Whatever happens, he who wants to hide his existence as a Necromancer will not let Stahark know all his strength and abilities. Especially by sucking everything in him, Regard will not let that happen.

"alright. I've decided not to let him do anything to me."

Intending to end it, Regard decided to return to the Golden Castle, he who came out of the [Dimension Portal] returned to the palace that had nothing in the vicinity but only darkness that had no footing, no foothold, no more, as well as the five girls he knew, he was shocked at the unexpected that lay before him.

"You... How did you come here?"

"Ah... Mister..."

"....."

"Thank God you survived and you're alive, Regard."

Getting a warm hug from Sasaki that Regard knows is not Sasaki but the Goddess of Wolf seen from the number of tails eight, he was silent full of confusion over the embrace.

As well as Shilphonia who turned into Stephani, she did not understand at all what they were talking about and was worried, both of them completely confused her in silence.

"Forget about that! We need to get out of this place."

"Yes, you're right."

Seeing the three girls lying unconscious, Regard who decided to let go of Sasaki's embrace, walked forward through the darkness around him, even the footing beneath him, both of them and Regard could not see it.

"You go! Let me face it."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure."

After stopping her footsteps and looking back while saying confidently without knowing the slightest fear, Stephani and Sasaki who knew it only gave a full smile to Regard, I believe he will finish it easily.

"Now go and take them out!"

"But how do we get out?"

"That's right. Isn't it hard to do it from the inside?"

"Well...."

Dumbstruck by Sasaki and Stephani's words, Regard can't do anything because he knows he can't get out of this dimension into the world they belong to.

Somehow, there was nothing Regard could think of that made them both suspect that that was what happened. Stephani who was holding her forehead with both arms crossed at the chest, as well as Sasaki who was controlled by the Goddess of Wolf who chuckled small while covering her mouth with her folding fan, they both really thought that Regard could figure out a way out but unfortunately it wasn't what they had expected.
