The Necromancers

The Necromancers
Ch. 46.1:Facing Destiny (1)

Suddenly the whole view turned to a different place, Regard who saw it was sure that the atmosphere around him that was very familiar made both hands clenched strongly, annoyed and hated what Stahark did, he said, Fuzikumibaru, and the Fallen Angel who steadfastly killed the inhabitants, adventurers, and merchants who stopped by, their innocent people killed easily.

All the adventurers who are in the residential area, they are preparing to prevent an attack on the village they occupy, they intend to protect it from anything that intends to destroy it.

Every adventurer that Regard sees, they have a variety of different levels ranging from; Black Adventure, Colorful Adventure, and White Adventure, among others, the three of them did not look afraid or run from their place because they believed they would be gone in the end, they were ready to exert all their abilities for the sake of this village.

"It's impossible that they can win this fight."

Seen from any point of view, the enemy had a large number of looks in the depths of the forest. Starting from; Undead, Golem, Skeleton, Witch, and Hound, they attack fully to the front row, while the rear row is available; Fuzikumibaru, Fallen Angel, and Stahark, respectively, they waited for the troops to be finished off first for them to show up afterwards.

That was what Regard saw through the darkness that enveloped the settlement of the villagers in Elforia Village that had completely disappeared through his Necromancer class.

"I thought so."

Just when all the adventurers who had worked together managed to overcome the advancing horde of monsters, their power that had been depleted had no other adventurers that could be used as a backup, a reserve, the thought of Regard was that this was the end for them, adventurers who would be lost in the village of Elphoria.

Fuzikumibaru who brought the Living Marionette was; the demonic woman, the vampire, the iron man, the man with the lightning hammer, the four of them were the strongest creatures he carried, they easily crushed the entire vanguard army.

No matter whether they used protectors, supporting magic and the others, the four Marionettes of Living Beings easily obliterated them without the slightest sympathy like controlled puppets.

Next was the Fallen Angel, both of them consisting of men and women, they attacked the rearguard troops, destroying every adventurer who had supporting classes such as High Priest, Minstrel, Bishop, Cleric, Wizard, and others, Magic Barrier, High Archer, Summoner, all gone quickly and easily by Fallen Angel.

The rest of the troops that survived, they were wiped out by Stahark. With one curved vertical slash, the entire houses of the residents, several trees that were hit by the slash, were crushed and fell down in an instant.

"Graaaaaarrrrr!"

With one ear-shaking shout, from the dark night ceiling there were many bright red circles. Such a bright red magic circle emitted numerous chunks of meteors that descended rapidly, hitting the ground surface which caused successive explosions to occur continuously, making everything that was hit by his attack range vanish was not left.

"It's a sight that really pisses me off and hates."

From the bottom of his heart, Regard who hated his weakness could do nothing when he knew the condition of the villagers and the people who stopped in his village was gone because of his helplessness.

Although Regard already had the ability and power of a Necromancer, he still felt despair, hatred, and resentment for the vile ill-treatment of Stahark and the other demons that followed him.

"Is it finished?"

When he knew the thick fog that had previously disappeared that showed the past of Regard began to look back, the fog slowly disappeared which made the view of Regard saw that he was still in a foreign place, he said, the place that trapped him and trapped him.

"How, Human? Do you feel resentful and hateful towards me? Or do you want to cry and despair?"

Estimating that this was the case, the curved smile on Regard's lips indicated that he was happy for his vision in the past to reoccur for the second time. He who was not seen trembling in silence and fear, only chuckled and laughed loudly at what Stahark had shown him earlier.

"It's all for nothing you do, Devil. No matter how far you show me the dark past I have, I still remember that I've set one thing."

"Oh. So, you don't flinch at all."

"Yes, that's it."

Stahark who was somewhere watching him through the transparent mirror of the ice crystal that showed Regard biting his finger, was annoyed and irritated at his inability to control Regard's emotions.

Stahark's plan actually wanted to manipulate Regard's negative emotions to be completely controlled into pawns, but it seemed that Regard was not affected, Stahark could only proceed to do the next plan.

Shilphonia POVs

"Friya, Reita, Fuuya, Sasaki, where are you?"

There was no answer from them, I traced every unknown place to be careful against unknown enemies.

It would be better if we together make it easier for us to explore the place, fight the enemy with the cooperation between us, and mutual confidence, I am grateful to have friends near me.

But why aren't they near me?

Careful, Shilphonia! I felt something unusual in this place.

Unusual?

Yeah, something that lurks unnoticed, that's the only feeling I feel.

Hearing Stephani's warning, I'm sure it wasn't an ordinary warning.

Usually Stephani doesn't say that to me, she chooses to be more indifferent to me. But this time he warned me about raising the vigilance, I was sure his instincts were truly trustworthy.

"Where are the people?"

Them? They've entered this place but in different places."

"That means..."

Yes, you, Elves, Fenrir, Hu-Machina, Humans, the four of them were transferred to different dimensions but in the same place.

That means that me and my friends who are in the situation right now, they are experiencing it too?

Yeah, exactly.

I-i understand.

"Stephani!"

Don't worry, it's just a regular fog!

Ordinary fog?

Yep. There were no monsters or traps, not even demons.

Hearing Stephani's words, I breathed a sigh of relief, glad to know that nothing was threatening me from behind the fog.

It would be troublesome if I encountered an enemy hiding behind a thick fog, maybe I would blindly attack in all sorts of directions without being noticed, I would take risky actions to protect myself.

Or I might switch places with Stephani, she easily did so without the slightest difficulty. So, it's only natural that if I have to grant her wish for survival for nothing, I'm willing to let her have fun with Regard.

"It's...."

In front of my eyes, a familiar sight was clearly visible in my vision now.

Friya POVs

Based on Nek Ryadu's story, I have fully understood.

A day ago, Nek Ryadu told me about him and some of the predecessor elves who had been trapped in the same place as me and my friends, he explained to me that he and his friends were separated from one dimension to another.

In other words, there were layers of dimensions present in this place. Even though we were in the same place and position, the way to find each other without us knowing whether or not, it was useless.

That's what I heard from Nek Ryadu's story.

Even if it could find it, it would require a large amount of mana which caused the mana in my body that was originally used to drain away, leaving me exhausted and wanting to rest for a moment.

There was another way to do it that was to defeat Stahark, this way could be said to be suicidal and reckless if I was really unable to kill him with my own hands.

Never mind killing Stahark, hurting him I don't know whether or not, that's what I'm afraid of from Stahark.

As I recall, Nek Ryadu explained about his fight against Stahark.

As he and Stahark face each other, Nek Ryadu often dodges and survives attacks by Stahark. When the opportunity arrives to attack, Nek Ryadu uses all his magic to eliminate Stahark and then intends to move to the original dimension by making cracks.

From what I heard, Nek Ryadu who initially thought it worked, he actually hit the body to the part of his leg that made Stahark's body from stomach to foot was cut off by the strongest magic Nek Ryadu. Before Stahark attacked him, he quickly made a crack and escaped from that dimension forever.

That's what he told me that caused Stahark, that terrifying and terrifying figure to appear with just a belly part to his head.

"....."

Surprisingly, an entire fog suddenly emerged from the footing, filling the gaze making me concentrate mana on my body to feel any threat around.

Finished making sure, I ended it because there was nothing around but just plain fog. But even so, I still have to be careful and vigilant for what is behind the fog that I do not know now.

"It's...."

Already I expected this to appear sooner than I expected, I just fell silent while looking around as the fog began to dissipate which was replaced by a familiar sight for me to see.

Along the way, Reita, who was constantly watching the beauty and beauty in the room she was in, was amazed at the inferiority that was around.

The golden wall, the red garnet that stretched wide on the surface, as well as the ceiling made of marble, he continued to pay attention to it without fear over what was in this place like; monsters, monsters, the devil and other creatures like Fuzikumibaru, he ignored him because he knew there was nothing threatening his life nearby.

Even if there is an enemy that camouflaged without knowing it, there is a possibility that Reita has realized it since the beginning, since the enemy approached him then Reita can be aware when the footing of the floor knows there is an enemy nearby.

Is Sister Regard okay?

Wondering about where and what is being done by her half-brother, Reita wonders what she might be faced with this kind of situation. A situation where he is in a new and unfamiliar place, Reita worries that Regard is not gone, but he could easily destroy everything around him without mercy.

That was the weight of his mind as his foster brother, half-sister of Regard.

"What's this?"

As the fog began to seal both of her legs, Reita wondered where it came from. Slowly the fog began to spread in all directions, closing her body and gaze completely, Reita had no idea what was happening now.

As long as she remained calm and waited, Reita was confident that this situation could be overcome easily. As he had expected, the fog began to dissipate which was replaced by a familiar sight for Reita to see.

Elsewhere, Fuuya who was sniffing the smell from the body of Regard and his friends found nothing of the smell.

Could it be that I am in a different place than them?

As he remembered, Fuuya who realized that the hunchbacked elf elder was telling him about the possibility that they would be in a different place from each other, fuuya's look of annoyance and hate thought this was really troublesome to do.

He should have been aware that the hunchbacked elf elder could have done it so easily to move him and Regard in one place, but from what he did it did not seem so.

Instead of resentment and resentment enveloping his heart, Fuuya continued walking through the wide corridor before him with a complicated expression on his face.
