The Necromancers

The Necromancers
Ch. 40.4: Shackles and Freedom (4)

It was enough to eliminate Sasaki's clone, the demon figure again approached the original Sasaki who was still silent in place by walking casually.

"You're cornered now, Demi-human."

"Yes, you're right."

Smiling and bluntly blushing at him, Sasaki's hands raised upwards signified that he had given up.

"In the end you're nothing more than a weak Demi-human."

"You're right."

"Can't do anything but the show, you're just a piece of shit."

"Yes." Yeah."

"Even you don't deserve to be called a great person by them."

"Frightly so."

Whenever the demonic figure humbled himself, Sasaki agreed on his words.

He is neither strong nor weak but is at a moderate general level without any of him being great and strong. That was why Sasaki agreed because she realized that she was not like them, the four people who had always been near her master, Regard during her journey.

Every time Sasaki noticed their closeness, she always thought in her solitude at night.

Whether he was strong enough to be juxtaposed with them or not, that mindset constantly rotated in his mind whenever he was alone in his room.

"Rest in peace!"

On the right arm of the demon figure was a large sword that should have been held in two hands capable of being held in one hand by him which was raised to the ceiling and ready to draw his sword into Sasaki's body.

Trang!

"....."

The shock wave made the transparent shield react several times until finally the crack began to appear behind the transparent.

I leave it to you, Sasaki.

Good.

A person who contacted himself through [Mind Reading] made him smile at the discovery of the plan owned by his master, Regard for what he was going to do.

"Although I am weak and trashy, but I still have the pride to be able to live with them."

Silvery light was seen wrapping around Sasaki's body which was so blinding to the woman's eyes.

The woman who was nearby quickly jumped back to keep her distance while blocking her gaze with both of her arms crossed forward to ascertain what was really going on.

Rampage as you please, Sasaki.

Those words were still ringing in Sasaki's heart which made him confident that his master was waiting for him.

I'll get this done as soon as possible, sir.

Followed by his serious expression and sharp eyes, Sasaki's body was nowhere to be seen as the dazzling silver light that had enveloped his entire body made it difficult for the woman to know what was really going on.

"This aura...."

"Is it possible that in large quantities it belongs to him?"

"....."

Reita who could sense different auras being emitted by a familiar figure, Sasaki who was far away with a silvery aura that was strong enough to be able to feel.

Friya who knows the amount of mana in large quantities flowing in Sasaki's body makes him speechless and wonders to himself, who exactly Sasaki is and what he is doing with the mana in large quantities.

Unlike the two of them, Fuuya who realized there was a different smell from a familiar figure who became a rival as well as his friend, Sasaki just fell silent while clenching his teeth as if unhappy over the existence of someone different.

Inside the central Fiasfa City, a white-haired man was sipping tea in his cup while enjoying the soothing scent of a teething fragrance.

The man placed the cup on the table, smiled and looked around to find out the crowd present in the Adventurers Guild Hall.

Sooner or later, it's all over.

Thinking that he would finish it, Regard hoped that everything could be resolved easily without the slightest difficulty.

A few years ago.

"It's really profitable."

Inside a public hall in a restaurant, the Regard who tied up the cloth bag that the rope played with his fingers, smiled at the income earned through adventurers. Although the results are fairly low, he is grateful that it can make him able to live all the sufficiency without the need for luxury in it.

Moreover, he who has more income through night hunting as a Dark Knight Hero or Demon Nightmare rumored by people, is, he did not use it at all for his foya-foya unless he kept it for later purposes.

"Here you go, sir!"

"Thank you."

"....."

His gaze that met the sight of a long blonde girl serving him with a cup filled with tea and pancakes provided at the table made Regard pause for a moment.

According to Regard, the look in the eyes of the long blonde girl with her ears on her head was very sad because of something. For some reason what made him sad, Regard could only interpret his gaze like that before.

What makes him sad?

Silently sipping tea and eating his pancakes, Regard noticed the Demi-human girl wearing a thin white skimpy outfit that showed *********** the big one and his seductive butt make anyone feel good.

"Miss, can I ask you to serve me?"

"Good."

Through the sad expression she showed, the girl approached one of the diners asking her to do the service provided at the restaurant she was working at.

The request for service from him is somewhat strange according to Regard that he who touched his thighs and fumbled using his right hand to touch his crotch makes the expression of Demi-human girl looks not want her to be dirty.

Even though she didn't want to get dirty, the Demi-human girl still couldn't do anything.

This is really outrageous once.

Standing up and walking towards the table of adventurers having fun with the Demi-human girl, Regard was visibly upset over their innocent-looking behavior in playing a woman's heart.

"Can you stop that? I'm sick of seeing you guys play games on him."

"uh? Whatchu mean?"

"Why do you look upset at us?"

"That's right. Isn't it natural for us to request additional services from this slave?"

The three men who were originally sitting stood up and stared intently at Regard with expressions that did not accept his words earlier.

To them, slaves are still slaves. If they were to survive, they would have to follow their master's orders, at least that was their understanding of slavery.

Unlike them, Regard thinks their mindset has gone completely wrong.

Even though Demi-human was a slave, he still had the right to live so he could decide whether he wanted to do it or not, he should be able to choose it.

If all beings who are slaves do not have the right to choose their lives, Regard believes that they will not know the meaning of a meaningful and meaningless life that is felt and owned by people in general.

"Did you come here to bother us, son?"

"really. Wouldn't you rather close your eyes and pretend not to look at what you're seeing now?"

Closing his eyes and letting out a long sigh, Regard was completely unwilling to let a situation like this happen again so he shook his head and smiled.

"You guys are so stupid."

"What did you say!?"

A thin man with his sunken face approached him and struck with a fist his right hand at Regard without needing to hold it in.

Regard who knew it would happen dodged it and fended it off many times.

"You helped me teach him a lesson!"

"Good."

The two men who were starting to approach Regard clenched their hands and prepared to punch him.

A fat man lunged directly at him, punching him many times but failed to do so because Regard was easily able to avoid his easy-to-read fist.

Upset her who always dodged, the fat man shoved Regard's body with both hands which made his body hit several tables and chairs causing some restaurant patrons who were enjoying food to rush out and leave as quickly as possible due to the commotion.

"Kuh...."

"Feel this!"

Successfully pushing his body firmly using his strength against the wall, the fat man intended to hit Regard's face many times to teach him a lesson by making him battered.

Every time a fist was directed at his face, Regard held it with both of his wrists crossed over his face to avoid bruising from the fat man's fist.

"You're such a bitch."

"....."

Knowing the man was quickly intending to hit in an instant using a spiral movement by his right hand, Regard lowered his head and attacked the fat man's stomach without needing to hold it in anymore.

The fat man who was hit by his fist fell to the floor and grimaced in pain because his punch not only hurt, but also made some of his body still left a punch from him.

"You..."

The man with the body was running towards Regard getting ready to stab him using a dagger he kept in the pocket of his harness.

Many times he moved his dagger, Regard always dodged without the slightest difficulty in dealing with it or was cornered by a medium-bodied man who was adept at using a dagger.

"I'll help you!"

The skinny man who ran towards Regard tried to punch him many times but failed to hit his face or stomach. Every time his fist was directed at him, Regard easily dodged and even fended him off quickly without the slightest difficulty.

"Now!"

"Good."

"....."

Behind Regard was a man running from the blind spot with a dagger ready to stab him.

"Smoke!"

His surprised-looking expression turned into a smile at the reactions of those who thought that they could corner him.

Unfortunately, it's not that easy.

Regard who exerted some mana made both of them bounce and fall to the floor unconscious.

Looks like I've made a big fuss huh.

Finished watching the surroundings closely, Regard let out a long sigh.

It's hard to think that he didn't cause the slightest problem. Be it the three men who tried to kill and battered him as well as himself, they had been wrong for making the atmosphere in the restaurant fall apart and crumble as it seemed now.

"You're really amazing, son."

Near the employee entrance, a fat man stood cross-legged on his chest and stared intently at Regard.

"But what do you do now? Will you take responsibility for the damage to everything that happened in my restaurant and compensate for everything or will you run away from this?"

Walking closer to Regard, on one of his arms was a large kitchen knife used to cut the meat looks shiny when reflected in the light in the restaurant.

"I'll take responsibility for this."

"It's good that you take responsibility."

Without needing to walk up to him and teach him a lesson, the man put his knife back into the employee's room and left Regard alone where he was.
