The rising sun tilted to the west signifies that it is already afternoon.
After hunting in the forest by killing several monsters such as green wild boar and white albino toad, Regard and Sasaki walked on the path in the middle of the forest in a quiet and silent condition.
"Sasaki, may I ask you something?"
"Yes. What do you want to ask me?"
Regard's stalled steps made Sasaki come to a standstill behind him. Reversing his body towards Sasaki, Regard was curious as to what really happened to Sasaki about himself.
Whether he realized it or not, Regard ventured to ask.
"Are you really a Demi-human who has no mana in your body?"
"Yes, I'm sure of that."
With a serious expression, Sasaki said with a smile filled with hospitality that allowed Regard to ask anything that stuck in him.
"You're not really a Demi-human who has no mana, but you're a Demi-human who has mana."
"Eh... Sir's not kidding, is he?"
"No, I'm not kidding at all."
Although Regard's expression looked solemn, the words were only deliberately spoken because Sasaki was convinced it was to comfort her because she had no mana.
Even if he had it, he had long since killed his master in the past who had always treated him harshly and badly. Gentlemen who had played him, harassed him, and tortured him constantly made Sasaki unable to bear to remember him.
Whenever he imagines his dark past, Sasaki is fed up with him being unable to do anything about it. No matter how hard he tried, he still had nothing, at least that was what Sasaki had concluded.
"Listen to me, Sasaki, you have mana in your body but in a slightly strange way."
"Any?"
"Yes. In short something is holding up the mana inside your body which causes it not to flow and spread throughout your body."
Walking around Sasaki, Regard explained to her that something was holding her back. Sasaki who heard it, she lowered her head and pondered for a moment at his words.
"Whatever you want to believe or not, I can tell right away when I'm near you when we shower together."
His shocked eyes at hearing the bath together made Sasaki remember where his master could tell that he had mana in his body, but was held back by something that Sasaki did not know how it could withstand his mana flow.
As Sasaki knew, mana was a power and ability that was reserved by certain people. The reason why adventurers and witches were so powerful was that they were chosen people because having mana in their bodies each made them strong and powerful.
That's what Sasaki learned all along in the books she'd picked up and told by her parents before when she was a child.
"Are you curious? I can take it off if you want, even if you want me to let it go."
Hearing the attractive offer from his master, Sasaki thought to find out if it was true or not.
If his master had deliberately comforted him with those words, Sasaki understood him, and vice versa, if that fails then Sasaki is already convinced that she was born with no mana in her body which makes her end up as a slave passed from hand to hand by some of her masters who are interested in her her body is sexy.
"I'm curious."
"Good!"
Regard approached Sasaki making him surprised at his master who extended his hand behind Sasaki's back to be groped and then stopped.
I've guessed.
Just as he expected, the complicated-looking mana flow coiled around each other making the mana inside Sasaki's body unable to scatter easily.
As a result Sasaki who lived his life as a slave experienced more difficult days than himself who was homeless and both his parents were killed by Stahark.
"Sir, can you do it?"
"Yes. Hold a sec!"
Although the flow looks complicated in Sasaki's body, Regard tries to convince himself that he can do it.
Moreover, he had the Necromancer class, not a single failure had been achieved during the previous few weeks. Killing, taking innocent souls and saving them, and raising souls through the bodies of the dead, all of which Regard did every day at night before meeting Sasaki.
"My body feels weird..."
"Hold on, a little more!"
A number of purple mana streams enveloped Sasaki's back which felt warm.
Sasaki, who felt a turbulent sensation in her body slowly like a stream of water, was puzzled by the strange reaction to her own body.
One by one the bonds of the mana flow wrapped around each other back into their respective paths made Sasaki sigh in relief as she did not experience any symptoms.
"How's it?"
"I don't feel anything."
In the blink of an eye, a dazzling silver-colored light was seen enveloping Sasaki's body. Regard who blocked him with both hands crossed, he was confident in his success.
One by one the tails started to appear behind Sasaki. When the tail became eight, the dazzling silver light began to dim showing Sasaki with the appearance of her adult woman who looked silent while covering her mouth with one of her hands.
"How dare you make me feel the fresh breeze again, Man."
"Who are you?"
"I? I am the Goddess of Wolf who is proud and exalted by the City of Ilna, a city where the entire population adores me with great respect and gratitude."
The city of Ilna was a city unknown to Regard. Since he always spent his time hunting in the surrounding area and adventuring in the nearby area of Farihiora City, he did not get any information regarding Ilna City.
"Ilna City?"
"Yes. The city where the Demi-humans lived before. Peace, serenity, happiness, laughter, sadness, all felt alive in the City of Ilna."
Walking around Regard, Sasaki who initially explained willingly on her friendly face came to a halt for a moment. His gaze that turned cold and his sharp gaze pointed towards Regard.
Regard who knew it, he just kept quiet without saying anything. His sharp gaze, his cold expression, both could be certain that something had happened to Ilna City and the figure that was nearby now.
"The demons have attacked Ilna City mercilessly. A horde of powerful monsters that slay the weak Demi-humans, rape them, make them slaves and sell them, I can't stand the savagery they treat my people in such a vile way."
"Let me guess, you killed them because they treated the people of your town cruelly."
"Yes, that's right."
When his steps approached Regard who was only 3 meters from his place, his face that was close to the face of Regard made a smile adorning Sasaki's lips.
"I killed them with this girl's body."
"You're really mean."
"Don't worry, I did it for the sake of maintaining peace and quiet in my previous Town."
The words halted for a moment while silently facing the ceiling filled with leaves and tree branches, as well as the afternoon light that was a few minutes away would descend in a western direction.
"But those who survived thought of me as a useless person. As a result, this girl was banished, humiliated, abused, and abused by the residents, her parents let go of her and made her a slave."
Regard was sure those words didn't look like a lie at all.
His expression that looked sad as he gazed into the distance that he did not know, the experience of the past that was darker than him, as well as the bad and harsh treatment that people had done to the Goddess of Wolf, Regard thinks the times he saved as a hero are considered evil spirits swallowed by darkness.
"By the way Human, why do you have such a large amount of mana in your body? Are you really human or not?"
"I don't know, I don't know."
"Don't know?"
Highlight his sharp eyes and the cold expression displayed directly by a figure resembling Sasaki smiling at Regard's indifferent words, he said, he quickly pulled out a white sword from behind the white kimono he wore to the neck of Regard.
"Take me, man! Are you a human being or not?"
"Should I answer it?"
"What do you mean?"
Stabbing Regard's neck mercilessly, his body slumped to the ground with blood running down his neck making it difficult for him to breathe and speak.
If only Regard hadn't held him back, he would have died. That's why he deliberately let Sasaki stab him in the neck to prove that he didn't treat the resistance, but it seems like his estimation was wrong.
"I admit you can still survive, but what about this one?"
One of his left arms that opened the palm was lifted up from below making the bars made of bones piercing the flesh on his body causing blood to rush down the ground quickly.
"It's so sad."
"Yes, you're right. I'm pathetic because I haven't done the preparation."
Away from where he was, a familiar figure with a familiar voice made Sasaki look back and stare at him sharply and coldly at his presence.
The figure that appeared was the figure of Regard who wore a black robe and a hood that covered his hair fluttering in the wind that blew fiercely.
Regard who walked slowly to Sasaki made his move followed by a young purplish light that shone every time his shoes touched the ground.
Showing the mana deliberately streamed clear through the soles of his feet, Sasaki was surprised that he was able to control it. But something strange could be felt, the darkness that enveloped Regard's body could radiate clearly through the aura behind his cloak.
"You started it first so..."
A pair of mist enveloped both of Regard's arms then turned into the black sword he had already grasped.
"You'll know the consequences, miss."
Trang!
Once a slash could be fended off easily by Sasaki who used his sword that came from his bones.
Keeping his distance by retreating and moving away, Sasaki shot a barrage of feathers from his tail that turned into a dagger making it difficult for Regard to approach him.
Although he had difficulty approaching, Regard remained on balance while fending off a barrage of gunfire from Sasaki's tail feathers that turned into dagger blades with both of his black swords.
"Taste this, Man!"
Several red balls are directed at the Regard through the three tailed Sasaki. The medium-sized ball shot rapidly towards Regard who slowly became brighter and turned into a dazzling orange color and exploded.
The soaring black smoke could be seen by Sasaki returning to his sturdy posture making him look more dignified while watching the figure of Regard inside the black smoke that was slowly dissipated by the wind.
"intriguing. Is that how you survive and take out a lot of demons?"
The footsteps that sounded approaching Sasaki, the figure that looked like Regard emitted a reddish glow from one of his eyes that resembled a blaze.
Sasaki, who did not want to be approached by the man, quickly threw several sky-blue orbs that numbered two large balls. The ball turned bright and spread cold air which made the air around become frozen in an instant.
Regard who froze like ice made Sasaki sure that it managed to stop him. Before he could confirm it, he quickly ended the fight using his strongest abilities.
