Ch. 9:Misunderstanding (1)

"Black Wind."

(Black Wind, a black wind capable of being created by Shilphonia in both small and wide scope, both of which he can do depending on its usefulness. Black Wind is capable of both attack and defense, depending on Shilphonia's own needs)

The dark colored wind blowing around them made Shilphonia and Friya get wrapped up by the darkness of the wind inside.

The woman knew that the range of the black wind covering the area around her made her dodge immediately to stay away.

"I'm not letting you go!"

Taking out his ability, a strong wind blew that caused the black air around him to turn into normal.

Not missing the opportunity, the woman took out a large amount of Lightning Lance that led to them.

Lightning Lance in large numbers darted quickly making Shilphonia and Friya who were shocked by his abilities, start to avoid his attacks as much as possible.

(Lightning Lance, a spear created from lightning elements that can be made one or many, all depends on the user. Lightning Lance was actually basic magic. But depending on the use, whether you want to pour a lot of mana or not, it can have the effect of being stronger than basic magic)

Despite already dodging his attack, Lightning Lance who had targeted the two of them started to chase and made a rumble roll out when it hit the two of them.

(Thunderbolt, the lightning element that is able to be poured into an object or living thing to accelerate movement, it is also able to be used to add strength to attack the enemy. Thunderbolt is both a support magic as well as an attacker magic, both of which can be used under certain conditions of the user using it)

Noticing from behind the mask, his gaze was curious over the attack that was deliberately directed without any pause towards the two of them.

(Heaven Slash, a magic capable of creating a large-sized sword blade from the end of a stick using a sufficient amount of mana. The blade of the silver-colored sword is large that is able to neutralize the darkness that is his opponent, it will just disappear when it hits him)

The huge white light slashing through the Shadow Wolf's body made the two of them grimace in pain and then vanish from where they were.

Raising both of her hands up, the iron-horned masked woman let out a large amount of mana that made the entire previously bright sky dark.

Before long the sky darkened, thundering rang out accompanied by lightning that repeatedly grabbed onto the surface and the trees that were in a wide range. Continued with heavy rain that soaked the surrounding area made Friya and Shilphonia confused over the actions he did earlier.

"Why doesn't it affect me?"

Smiling at the shock of the two of them, the iron-horned masked woman approached towards them and laughed.

Finished doing what was necessary, Regard returns to Shilphonia and Friya to talk to them about the reason he did this to both of them.

After they decided to come down to the surface, Regard explained to them both the intent of his actions earlier.

"I did it so you wouldn't fight each other."

"Why don't you want us to fight?"

"Do you have a fear of something in the past?"

"none. I just wish you could live side by side."

Both were surprised by his words.

Regard could understand their confused and astonished faces at his words, which they could not at all understand and understand the meaning of his words. For this reason, Regard will explain in detail the reason why he said something like that to them.

"My point is I want you guys who are not involved in the Necromancer class to coexist with each other."

Hearing the soft words from Regard, Shilphonia was surprised by her shrinking eyes.

Regard then explains that he was protecting the Fairy Forest from being destroyed by Friya's Meteorite.

As it would endanger the safety of the other elves, Regard decided to use almost all of his mana to smash all the rocks that fell from the sky into the forest.

That was why he had fallen down from a height because Regard himself did not have enough mana to withstand his strong hunger from having consumed a large amount of mana, he said, he fell helpless and lost consciousness.

Shilphonia did not expect that her prediction was wrong, starting from thinking that Friya who injured and made Regard unconscious to make him fall helpless on the ground to fight seriously against Friya, all that is just a misunderstanding.

Approaching Regard and hugging him tightly, Shilphonia felt sad and guilty for what she was doing completely outside her own rules.

Regard who received his embrace, held and stroked Shilphonia's back slowly and smiled at her.

"You did it for me. Thanks!"

Hearing the sincere words spoken to her, Shilphonia let go of her embrace and looked at Regard with a reddened face.

He did not dare to look at her gaze directly, instead, he simply hung his head because his strong guilt made him not dare to look at her.

"I'm sorry to you too, Furuhiora. Sorry for the misunderstanding I've done to you."

Walking closer to Friya, Shilphonia apologized and hugged Friya's body tightly.

He has absolutely no idea of the true story, which Shilphonia knows is that it all started with Friya deliberately starting the battle against Regard. That was why Shilphonia was blinded by the turbulent emotions within her body, causing her to attack Friya.

Moreover, Friya has known fully about her care that was done by Regard earlier on the ability that Friya used, he said, should Friya be ashamed of her unconsciousness in the face of Regard who almost sacrificed some of the elves who were still in the Elf Village.

"Thank you for your help in saving the lives of the elves."

Shifting his gaze away from Friya, Regard shyly scratched his back hair.

For a few seconds he was embarrassed, he realized something he did not have to keep all this time so he immediately looked at Friya and Shilphonia in turn.

"If we're not welcome in this place, we'll go. What do you think, Shilph?"

"Good decision."

"Given that we've made trouble for you, we want to split up from now on."

Bouncing and bowing their heads and bodies at Friya, they went from her place towards the outside of Fairy Forest.

Friya who said nothing just looked from a distance at the two, who slowly disappeared from a distance which made her grieve over the loss of their existence from the Fairy Forest.

The Regard POV

"By the way, Regard, how could you possibly disguise yourself as an unrecognizable other person?"

"Are you aware of it?"

"Yes, I was surprised to learn that you did it to get us both to work together before."

Sure do.

The reason I did so was so that the two of them would forget their fight and decide to cooperate with each other to face me and Hellhound.

All I know is that I didn't do anything in return so that Furuhiora could repay the kindness we did before. Instead, what we did was to destroy a portion of the forest with a fight against each other which caused our former fighting environment to look terrifying and terrifying.

Why should I?

I could read his thoughts from his expression that looked objectionable and irritated to me.

To be honest, I was hoping that he would manage everything, but he had deliberately given it all to me. So, I had to firmly and boldly explain to Furuhiora about the rejection I had meant earlier.

"I appreciate that you want to come with us, Furuhiora."

His face looks happy when he hears my words. But it was only temporary, because I would say something more that would make her happy face turn sad.

"But there are conditions in joining us."

"Condition?"

"Yes. Shilph, explain it to her!"

"Tu-wait... Why should I!?"

Not answering anything to him, Shilph let out a long sigh, holding his head.

I'm sure she looked dizzy and angry at my words and attitude earlier so I can only apologize for the mistake I made to her later.

"Actually Regard can take you but on one condition is to give your blood to him."

"blood? If it's not wrong you've given her blood, haven't you?"

"Yes. Since he is a Necromancer, he needs blood to serve as his strength and ability."

What Shilph said did make sense.

As long as there is blood, I can survive and be strong in any respect. No matter whether the enemy is stronger than me or not, I can only do so if it constantly consumes blood in order to calm the darkness within my body.

Well, not only blood but flesh is necessary to remove the unbearable hunger from the darkness that is in my body.

But, I can't ask for much because it's just the basic rule.
