The Versatile

The Versatile
Chapter 15's

Hazel woke up at six in the morning. Now her stomach is protesting hunger. The first place he went was the kitchen. Josh and Spencer are not awake yet, so Hazel can eat freely, without having to see them both.

Hazel opens the freezer and picks up some food. After she filled her stomach, she headed for the television room. Maybe there's some good news, which could help him crack the code.

Hazel sat on the couch and turned on her television. The air in this room is quite warm and makes Hazel comfortable, because it feels like home. Hazel kept changing her television channels, until she stopped at a local television channel.

“The ceremony of raising the red and white flag by Indonesia will be held at ten in the morning local time. The ceremony commonly held on the seventeenth of August is to commemorate the independence day of the country.” The television still sounded. Hazel was stunned to hear the news. Hazel immediately rushed to Josh and Spencer's room.

Josh and Spencer's room side by side. Then Hazel knocked on their room simultaneously. There's no answer. When Hazel knocks for the second time, both doors open. Spencer, in his shorts, opened the door, and so did Josh. And they're bare-chested. Hazel was silent for a moment.

“We have to go to Indonesia!” hazel said later.

“Why?” asked Josh who was now rubbing his eyes.

“It's about my dad, I think he's hiding something there.”

“Alright, we leave at ten.”

“OK, and ..” before Hazel finishes her sentence they close the door, and again simultaneously. “Why do they thicken anyway?”

“I heard you Hazel!” say them simultaneously.

Hazel leaves, not wanting to get into a fight with them. Go back to his soft sofa while watching some cartoon shows. The longer his eyes get heavier. Hazelpun leaned against his body, and fell asleep in a sofa.

Josh and Spencer are ready to go. They both got dressed and packed. Hazel is still asleep on the couch, Josh is trying to wake her up. But Hazel didn't wake up. When Spencer wakes him up, Hazel opens her eyes.

Josh and Spencer stand in front of Hazel. “Are you watching me while asleep?”

“No, it's ten o'clock. We have to leave!” spencer. Spencer wore a black leather jacket and a titan t-shirt, as well as light brown material pants, very young.

“No one saw me delirious right?” asked Hazel, getting up and sitting on the couch, trying to gather her balance.

“No. But we saw you when I called my name.” Josh smiled.

“What? I called your name?” Hazel was silent, looking like she was thinking. “Listen! I didn't dream of you, really.”

“It's okay, a lot of girls like me at school, but I've never been interested in a seductive girl like them.”

Now Hazel is confused as to what Josh means that Hazel is her type girl. Hazel rubbed her messy hair, then she took the bathroom and got dressed. Fifteen minutes later, Hazel was ready with her clothes on.

This is Hazel and Spencer's second trip to Indonesia. But the atmosphere is different as before. At the time, she was just Spencer and Hazel liked Spencer.

It felt like he wanted to put his head on Spencer's boat. But after finding out Spencer was married, she threw that thought away, she didn't want it anymore. Now he is flanked by two men with different traits. Hazel is a child who needs to be taken care of.

As usual Hazel was silent, she was still thinking about whether it was right for her to mention Josh in her sleep. Spencer also told her that. She wasn't too anxious, it was just that she had never been this close to the man she liked.

Hazel prefers to be alone than be friends with cheerleading girls. He prefers sports than having to scream and jump around like cheerleaders do.

As the day grew more and more afternoon, their days of the day were spent just sleeping, going to the bathroom, and observing the view of the clouds. Hazel doesn't talk either, only sometimes Spencer asks her how she is.

By nightfall, everyone on the plane had fallen asleep. But not with Hazel still awake. He looked at the sleeping Josh, Josh looking handsome and charming. Then he saw Spencer, he looked handsome and strong and handsome. Spencer really came at an inopportune moment, when Hazel was trying to forget him.

Hazel turned her eyes away, the window of a suitable place to refresh her eyes. Hazel walked back, and she saw some empty seats in the back. Maybe he could use that chair.

It was better to sit alone than to be with the two people. Hazel sat in the window seat, then she bent her legs and hugged him. The night view is beautiful, but there is something strange about it.

There was someone flying in the sky, but strangely that person looked like he was walking on the ground. Then he ran towards an invisible termpat and disappeared.

The pilot's captain's voice coming from the microphone woke Hazel. The plane will soon land. Spencer and Josh have been awake since, but none of them have woken Hazel. They don't see each other, do they get angry at me? hazel said in his heart.

Once the plane really stops, everyone goes down. After taking their things and taking care of everything they look for a hotel to stay at. The Indonesia that used to be when Hazel was there really changed. Hazel looked around her, the same airport but changed physically. Very real and clear. Hazel recalls yesterday's events, someone, flying, wingless, walking, all of them spinning around her head like a replayed recording.

“This country a thousand years ago is completely different. What made all these changes?” Hazel asked in amazement.

“Everyone changes Hazel, so does this country,” Spencer said. From his tone Hazel could hear to the cynic.

What's wrong with me? Inner Hazel to herself. Why are they acting so weird?

The hotel they stayed at was really good. Jakarta Sheraton Hotel is a place for rich people who want to stay. Luckily Josh had brought in a lot of money before he left. They booked three hotel rooms, Josh took care of everything. Because Hazel and Spencer don't understand today's procedures.

Josh and Spencer walked into the room without saying anything. Hazel remained silent at the door of her room, she did not know what was going on with the two men.

“Males are indeed strange.” Hazel rolled her eyes, then went into her room.

Maybe today he should rest after the jet-lag he's been through. Then, tomorrow he will look for the riddle that his father left behind. Now he's too tired to take care of everything. Without a second thought he lay down and fell asleep.
