The Versatile

The Versatile
Chapter 33

“Great! I think everyone has believed in us.” Spencer whispered to Nissa.

“Yes, but you made a big mess.” Nissa patted Spencer on the back.

Spencer frowned, they were among the people demonstrating. Most of the people who demonstrated were around twenty-one to thirty years old. There may be more, but the average looks twenty to thirty.

“Spencer, you know what this says me to?” ask Nissa.

“What?”

“I once read a history book from the remains of our ancestors. Things like this have happened, but they occupied a building called the MPR.” building

“Really? Maybe your country is going through a period of reincarnation.”

Nissa looked at her different city. Maybe if he had a time machine he would choose to stay in the past. People began to push forward and Nissa began to separate from Spencer.

“Spencer!” Nissa shouting. But the voices of these people were louder than his.

“Nissa! Where are you?” Spencer starts to panic and looks for Nissa everywhere.

“Spencer! I'm here!” Nissa shouted again. But Spencer really didn't hear it.

Spencer ran away from the crowd and chose to go inside Monas. It's pretty crowded inside, but not as crowded outside. There are some teenagers who are resting. On the other hand there was a group of people talking. But there was one person who caught Josh's attention. The brown haired woman who he thought was not so asig anymore in his eyes.

Spencer called him. But then she remembered that her brother had done something stupid. Spencer was hiding among the crowd. Trying to blend in and watch Olivia from afar.

Not long after that he saw Hamish with a few people behind him holding his back, as if he was his friend. Though if viewed carefully, the person is trying to threaten him with a flazz.

They must have lured Olivia to Hamish. Of course they won't just give Hazel away. They need Hazel more than Hamish.

Hamish and the guy walked off somewhere. Olivia will be a tough opponent. How not, he has trained like Spencer to do this kind of thing. Spencer's right choice right now is to wait for the right moment.

He must not lose his only chance of this one. Hamish is also important for him now to know where Hazel is.

The cold air that had pierced Josh's skin since last night made him immune now. It's almost ten in the morning and Josh hasn't had a meal since yesterday. His body was trembling, almost every inch on his body he could feel that he needed food intake. Many times Josh tried to stand up, but his legs could not support his body that weighed twice as much as his feet.

His sunglasses that last night had helped him on the run flickering in his collar. It was as if he knew what was Josh's problem. Without a doubt Josh was wearing it.

“Detected the presence of mineral and carbohydrate deficiency.” The woman's machine voice reminded Josh of Hazel.

“What should I do? I don't have any money?” josh asked at his glasses that couldn't possibly be answered. But it turns out the voice of the machine woman answered Josh's question.

Without thinking long Josh stood from his place as if now it was his home. He casually walked out of the narrow alley, turning back towards the narrow alley.

Dark and a little scary at night. That would be the first time Josh has done it. Maybe for the last time too. Sleeping on the street is unpleasant and unpleasant, especially if you feel hungry. That's how Josh feels right now. It's just that he doesn't know what people in Hazel's time have been feeling that every day they have to sleep on the street and always feel hungry.

Josh has now stood with all his might that he can. The only thing he had to do now was to stand up and head for the grocery store. Again, this is a city full of luxury and wealth demanding money is everything. So, there will not be cheap restaurants with low quality, which there are only expensive restaurants with super luxurious waiters.

The door opened for a moment, but Josh had released his ID that was blocked. It seemed like his sunglasses were currently at work. This place is still very quiet, only Josh and three others are having breakfast here.

Josh was sitting in the corner of the restaurant. He had not eaten steamy food for a long time, but that did not mean he had forgotten about the existing system. Josh wrote on his desk screen to order a full-carb breakfast and three glasses of plain water.

Three minutes later a waiter brought Josh's order. Josh ate it with a mouthful or rather he inhaled it deeply. Josh just took a minute to finish his meal. He also paid for it without thinking. When Josh was about to walk out of the store, his eyes were distorted. Television screens at the store reported that there was a massive demonstration in front of Monas.

Josh is running out, he has to go to Monas right now. He's sure Hazel must be there. The distance was quite a distance if he had to walk, so Josh decided to take public transportation. Not far from where it is now there is a bus stop. A few minutes ago the bus left, meaning there will be another three minutes.

Josh was waiting for the bus to come. His heart would not be at ease if he had not yet reached there. His mind was still being overshadowed by Hazel's face. She's sure Hazel's gonna be okay. She's a smart girl who knows how to fight, but still she's been caught and Josh is getting worried about her.

Josh glanced at his watch, one more minute until the next bus arrived. But Josh was really impatient. For him time is everything, not even one second will he be in vain. Thirty seconds left and the bus was already starting to be seen from afar. Josh wanted to pull the bus.

“Come, quickly!” Josh complained.

He's in a hurry now. And the bus was going very slow. The door opened and Josh walked in with a troubled feeling that continued to haunt him. He still wears his sunglasses. Just in case someone recognizes her and her glasses are very good at detecting.

It took me ten minutes to get to Monas. Even he has not reached his Monas yet, as the road to Monas is partially closed and requires Josh to walk the rest. As a result of last night's incident, his legs still hurt until now. But not as bad as last night, he could barely feel his legs, like numbness.

Josh walked fast, half-run. Trying to get there as fast as he can, as fast as his feet can. Five minutes later he arrived in Monas. People were shouting, the words they were shouting were the same, but Josh could not hear clearly what they were saying. Too much noise and too many people.

Without a second thought Josh was wearing his glasses. He asked for his glasses to look for Hazel. The glasses scanned everyone and searched for them using satellites. Not long after that the glasses managed to find Hazel.

“Target found! Three kilos east. Inside the National Monument,” glass maya tells.

“Good.” Josh ran towards Hazel. Even though his leg started to hurt again. People are getting crowded here. Even Josh could barely breathe.

Now he's in Monas. Josh looks around, people look at him like he's a criminal. But he doesn't care about it, all he cares about now is finding Hazel. Josh was going around this place like he was looking around. There's someone who looks like Hazel, but Josh is a little hesitant. Slowly Josh approached her, trying to call her.

“Hazel!” call Josh slowly.

The girl looked, everyone looked. Including the person who was the girl spying.
