The Versatile

The Versatile
Episode 24

Hazel was preparing breakfast when Josh approached her in the kitchen. Her clothes were nothing like the clothes she used to wear. White T-shirt and knee-length shorts. Hamish appeared and sat down at the dining table. Without her top clothes and black trousers.

“Hey where are your clothes, man? You don't remember we had a girlfriend here?” Josh sat in the chair, Hamish followed him.

“Better than to spy on me while sleeping,” replied Hamish.

Hazel couldn't help but look at Hamish so she turned her back trying to occupy her plate-seeking self. Hazel is a little shocked, and blushing, but she hopes Hamish and Josh don't see her.

“What do you mean? Does anyone think you're sleeping? You kidding? Who wants to see an ugly man like you? Especially when you are sleeping!” tease Josh.

Hamish turned his chair around, then sat back down. “That's what you said. But the fact is that there is someone who intimidates me while sleeping!” reply Hamish.

Hazel turned around with a bread knife in her hand. “Are you going to keep saying that here? better finish your breakfast! I want to show you guys something!” Hazel ate her sandwich.

Now they were just devouring their respective sandwiches without speaking. It's quiet, but it's better they shut up than they make Hazel feel guilty opening Hamish's bedroom door.

Hazel bites off the last piece of the sandwich and Hazel walks away from the two men and stops just before she comes out of the kitchen.

“The glass room I found yesterday,” Hazel stopped talking, “I found something there.” Then continue on his way to the glass room.

Hamish and Josh looked at each other. Not yet he finished his meal, Hamish had left it on his desk. While Josh spent his mechanism leisurely, then sipped his drink and walked towards the glass room.

Hazel was standing leaning against one of the glass. Hamish came in in a hurry and was already wearing his clothes, followed by Josh who was walking leisurely. Then Hazel stood up straight and removed her backrest. The glasses then turned around, just like what had happened last night. Dozens of weapons and sophisticated tools are displayed at every corner.

“Wow, this all belongs to your father?” Josh who had looked relaxed now showed his astonished face.

Hazel folded her hands. “I think yes.” Then he turned around and picked up some tools.

Hamish follows Hazel, but all he takes is a revolver. Josh is still fascinated by all of this. Hazel took out a bracelet-shaped object. Looks like a regular bracelet,

Hazel scanned that thing. There's a small, very small button. Until Hazel has to confirm it by looking closer. The button looks like a connector from both sides. As Hazel presses him, the bracelet changes shape to vertical. And on both sides there are sharp objects that can hurt his skin.

“Keren, it looks ordinary. But this folding knife shaped bracelet,” Hazel murmured. “Josh what you got there.” Hazel turns to Josh who is busy looking at things.

“Entaihah, but this looks like regular glasses.” Josh put on the glasses and showed them to Hazel.

Josh looked at her from behind his black glasses. Suddenly his eyes were scanned from the glasses.

“Josh wear this. Maybe there's something you can hear,” Hazel said.

Josh followed Hazel's words, he put them on his ear. “Eye scanning is being done.” Someone said through his little earphones that were taped to his ears. “Scanning finished. Welcome to Mr. Armor.”

“Hey how can she know my name?” Josh said it in shock.

“All of these spy tools. During my time at work I was always familiar with such great tools even though I had never used them. But this ...” Hamish was silent for a moment. He was holding a revolver with a silencer at the end. “I have never seen this weapon, since hundreds of years ago.”

“Yes, that's cool right? So this is what I want to show you. I have no intention of peeking,” Hazel said as she looked at Hamish with a flat gaze.

“I also have no intention of mocking!” hamish quickly denied.

Hazel rolled her eyes without saying anything. He didn't want to discuss the matter anymore. It is better to switch the conversation if you do not want your anger to explode. Quarrels will not get them along, but they must be together all this time.

“Now what should we do?” josh asked as he looked at Hazel and Hamish alternately.

“We return to the monument! I'm sure there's something my dad wants me to know.” Hazel's answer was convincing.

“But yesterday we were there and the result we shot the girl again,” complained Josh.

“You got shot by that kid again? Who the hell is that kid?” hamish asked in annoyance.

“You know, it looks like I've seen that girl at my school.” Josh rubbed his forehead, as if he was trying to remember something. “Yes, I've done it a few times and I always find it looking at me.”

“Maybe she likes you,” joked Hamish.

“Ya, by shooting me to want to die.” Josh glared his eyes at Hamish. “Everyone knows our faces. We can't go anywhere.” This time he looked at Hazel.

Hazel was silent for a moment, thinking about how they could leave without being caught by others. “We will go undercover. Hamish, you're used to undercover. Isn't that your job?” ask Hazel.

“Ya, and I'm an expert in disguise.”

“See what you're doing? You could've screwed things up!” the woman screamed in anger.

“At least I've tried not like you, who just rule and get mad!” reply to the blonde girl.

The blonde girl sat down. While the other woman was pacing with a confused face. Their plan had failed, but they had a million plans by justifying all means.

“All their systems are broken, even their IDs can not be traced. They are free to roam,” said the woman worried. His voice is a little raucous now.

His sneaky smile made him look even more like a demon angel. “But, everyone has recognized their faces and the police are looking for them and make them the number one fugitive,” the blond girl explained.

The woman was silent for a moment, staring at the blond girl. “You're right, we have a chance.”

After tidying up all the remnants of the items she was wearing, Hazel changes her clothes with a T-shirt and jeans. Then he added the hoddie, jacket and hat. Hazel wasn't very good at grooming, but this time she didn't want to go to a formal event. She wants to go undercover and Hazel thinks this is the perfect disguise.

In the guest room Josh was already dressed like a person in general, only he added a mustache to his disguise. “How? Cool is my mustache?” Josh was aghast from his seat when he saw Hazel had dyed his hair. “Your hair is black? You color it?” tanyanya slow.

“Yup, for incognito. Besides, I fit perfectly, right with black hair?”

“Ya, very suitable.” Hamish appears from behind Hazel while looking at her from the ground up.

This time Hazel didn't flinch. She quickly replied to Hamish, “You also fit your clothes so well that Hamish.” Hazel laughed, and so did Josh.

Hamish wore a striped shirt with jeans as usual. The strange thing was not her clothes or the way she wore them. But the strange thing is his face is dressed up like a geeky person with big glasses and a big mole on his cheek.

“This disguise know!” snapped it. “After all these glasses have the same fungi as your sunglasses Josh you found in the glass room,” Hamish explained.

“How about that big mole on your cheek? that's also part of your disguise?” asked Josh in a mocking tone.

“Of course not. This is just as a complement only,” added a little embarrassed.

“Alright, everything is ready with your disguise? We leave together, but we'll split up after we get there. In accordance with the plan. Wear this earpiece in your ears and the microphone pair your teeth.” Hazel explains it quickly, but everyone understands what is being said.

"We're leaving now!" hazel said spirit.

Their journey went well. After parking their car, Hazel heads straight for the National Monument. Josh comes in as security, while Hamish as a tourist. They are very good at mingling. Hazel moves fast, she goes through the emergency exit. The access road leading to the top is closed by iron with a security key code.

"I think all the systems here are broken, so why don't I just break them all" said Hazel, who then took the gun she had tucked in her pants.

He never puts a gun without his place. But he had to hide the weapon. Hazel never learned to keep such a weapon, because it was dangerous. But he used to see it in action films that he had seen.

Hazel points her weapon at the lock. He pulled the safety and pressed the trigger quickly. A zlupp's sound was heard from his gun. Fortunately Hazel put on her silencer gun so that the sound released is not loud.

Two new shots could damage the lock. But Hazel was silent for a moment, as if waiting for something. There is no alarm sound, maybe they did not pair it, or maybe the alarm does not work if the key is tampered with. Whatever it is that makes the alarm not work Hazel does not care, the important thing is that she must go inside and look for whatever her father is pointing at her.

The stairs to the top of this monument are quite far away. When viewed from outside Monas is quite high. “OK, surely this is tiring,” said Hazel who not long ago he was near the top of tanga. “Am I almost there? Not too far,” he said again.

The top of the Monas was dark, the edges were already covered by iron. Hazel's views here are limited, but fortunately she wears the clock she found in the glass chamber. The clock can analyze a place under any circumstances even dark.

Not long after the clock found the iron-opening button. However, the button is inside a small glass and the glass only works with the sound system and Hazel doesn't know what to say. But Hazel tried.

“Monas,” he said slowly. The button remained silent. “National Monument,” for the second time Hazel tried and failed. “17 August 1945,” for the third time Hazel tried and did not come to fruition. “What is possible Golden flame tongue huh?” ask Hazel to herself.

Not long a click sounded from the glass which then opened. The button Hazel presses until the light barrier is exposed. Hazel approached the edge of the building. From up here Hazel can see the city but not as she imagined. The view of the city he saw was quite close.

“This is weird.” Hazel scrunched her forehead. He did not understand why the view from here did not look far away. Hazel did climb a little stairs, but from outside Monas looked tall.

Hazel circled the place many times, but she did not understand what was happening. What his father wanted to be up here.

Hazel stayed in place, the earpiece rang loudly. Josh's voice was clearly heard.

"Hazel, they're all on your way! Get out of there!" josh's voice was in a hurry. Josh was walking out of the crowd.

"Hazel you're gonna get caught! Get out of there!" hamish said worriedly.

Hazel quickly pressed the button again. The iron slowly closes and the button is closed back in the glass. The room was dark for a moment, only the clock became a guide. The clock also detects the officers heading towards it. There were about two dozen officers heading towards him.

There is no other way but by elevator. Hazel forcibly opens the elevator door with her pen. He stuck the pen in the middle, then the pen pulled out the opening iron from the right and left ends.

Hazel got into the elevator, and she went down slowly with the stairs and the rough handle. Slowly but surely. Fortunately, it is not too far down. Hazel opens the top cover of the elevator, the same way Haikal finds her trapped in the elevator. But this time not to save someone, but to save himself.

The elevator is empty and the door is closed, but most likely the officers are out there too. The clock detected about six to eight officers guarding below.  Hazel has a gun, but they also have a flazz that can make Hazel sprawl in a moment.

Hazel has no choice, the only way is to put her gun away. He took his gun out of his pants, then pressed the door button. One, two, three. The elevator doors opened and the officers were riveted by Hazel's presence. Hazel brandished her weapon at them, and they also brandished a flazz at Hazel. Hazel's earpiece kept ringing, Hamish and Josh's voice still ringing in her ear.

"Hazel where are you?" ask Hamish.

"Hazel answer us!" Josh forced.

"Brapped! I can't get out" Hazel said quietly so that no one could hear her.

Hazel's position is unfavorable, she's outnumbered. Still in a still position, an officer threw his flazz at Hazel. However, Hazel manages to dodge and presses the trigger. This time it was the officer who was shot by Hazel.

Not long after someone returned to flazz them, Hazel quickly replied, as if their pistols were clashing. But this time Hazel was unlucky, the shot was just a trap so the other officers could hit Hazel appropriately.

Within seconds Hazel fell and the gun slipped out of her hand. Hazel fell on the floor, her eyes twitching. But in his less clear vision he could still see the person he now hated so much. Haikal.
