Chapter 37's

Hazel could see Haikal clearly. He stalked the man, but Haikal did not notice. Hazel has prepared, she's using her anti-flazz. Walking leisurely towards Haikal and as he expected, all the officers pointed a flazz at him. He is famous here. Yeah, as the one who caused all this mess.

“Do not approach!” said one officer.

Hazel raised both hands, as if giving up. Haikal looked at him from afar. His view was meaningful, but Hazel could not interpret it. One of the officers approached Hazel. Anti-flazz is invisible, so they don't realize Hazel is wearing it. They were too busy to notice such things.

One of the officers got closer by pointing at his flazz. Hazel looked at the officer with a cynical smile.

“Why are you smiling? you strange woman! We'll catch you!” The man took his handcuffs.

At the same time Hazel snatches her flazz and shoots her into anti-flazz. The officer froze for a moment, thinking Hazel had missed to fire a flazz. “You are not an expert in shooting, ancient people!”

“Indeed like that is the point!” Hazel smashed the officer in the face with her flazz handle.

“You think I'm kidding?”

After that Josh just kept quiet and felt astonished. “How can he learn such a good kick from the movie?”

“Of course he can. She's Hazel, the girl who can fight with only her hands and feet.” Spencer patted Josh on the back.

Now Haikal was staring at the girl he had been wanting to meet. “Do not approach! I can shoot you from here!” His voice sounded terrified.

“Please. You've seen how I beat the people there,” said Hazel and she kept approaching Haikal. And getting closer.

The distance was really close to being able to shoot him, even Haikal did not need to aim at the girl. But this close to Hazellah, she can take Haikal down in seconds.

“Hazel officers are everywhere! We have to go now!” Hamish yelled at Hazel.

Haikal looked at his friend, not knowing when he had last talked to his friend. His friendship was broken by haikal himself. Even his best friend doesn't believe him anymore. Being honest doesn't make you lose and telling lies will make you lose everything.

“Hey Josh!” Hazel calls Josh who is chatting with Nissa. “Where did you get these glasses?”

“Your father's glass room,” Josh said, then continued his conversation with Nissa.

It's ten o'clock, curfew has been imposed. “If I don't return within two hours, find me.” Hazel left the narrow alley.

The atmosphere was already very quiet, even it felt like the wind was not blowing here. Hazel looked up, the sky was very dark. Darker than usual. As it was dark, Hazel tried to remove her sunglasses. Besides, it's night, who wears sunglasses at night?
