“All changed, right?” ask Hazel. His eyes were still fixed on the sky.
“Because of them, everything so changed.”
“No, it's because of us. We are here and have foreseen many changes for the future.” Hazel looked at Spencer's face.
They look at each other. “You're right, it's because of us. And the reason we're here is helping the people up here.” Spencer shifted his eyes.
They don't talk for a few minutes. They stared at the night sky illuminated by the moon and stars. Hazel thought of the people down there who could not enjoy the beauty of seeing the night sky with the moon and stars. The sky below is plain, empty with no moon and stars dotting the sky.
“So, Olivia is your sister?” ask Hazel later.
“Yes, of course she's my sister,” Spencer replied.
“Why could he be such a bad guy? why would he want to destroy the government?”
Spencer recalls a childhood he took fifteen years ago. “At that time I was eight and Olivia was sixteen. Our mother is a spy, therefore she is rarely at home and we have never felt affection from her.”
Hazel looked at Spencer with sympathy.
“Then not long after that mom came home and said we should move. Mom said she would never leave us again if we moved. As we were packing, I saw my mother take a gun from the drawer and carry it. Suddenly someone came and asked me to work again, but I didn't want to. That guy just left and I know the reason now.” Spencer's face looks sad.
“Why?” hazel asked not to be silent.
“He wants us alive. But on that day, my mother left us forever. Mom told us to go with Dad. I didn't stop crying for my mother to come with us, but she left us. As my car started to move away from my house, I saw my mother come out of the house and shoot the person who came, but she was also hit by gunfire. Many times.”
Spencer's story reminds him of his father. Spencer's story is more awful than Hazel's.
“Me and Olivia saw mom get shot. I can do nothing but take us far away. At that time Olivia was convinced that the one who killed the mother was an organization under the auspices of the government. Olivia's just assuming, but she's not investigating. I guess after he works with a versatile that is not in the government he will realize.”
Hazel approaches Spencer and holds the man's hand.Hazel's large, strong hand makes him look very small. “I know how you feel. Even my father didn't want me, but it made me strong and made me who I am today.” Hazel smiled proudly.
“There is always a lesson from what we have been through and we should be able to be even better.” Spencer smiled as well.
“Friends!” call Josh suddenly and make Hazel take his grip off Spencer's hand. “I think it's been quite the night for us to sneak in. Haikal and Hamish have been monitoring the situation and they think it is now safe.”
Spencer looked at Hazel. “So, what are you planning?” tanyakanya.
“We will destroy their solar panels.it is their light source, if we manage to disable it, then they will not have the power reserve to illuminate the whole world below.” Hazel smiled cunningly.
“You're right, then what will you do after?” ask Josh curiously.
“We will destroy the dam.”
Josh and Spencer stare at Hazel in disbelief. Haikal and Hamish Yagn just got off the roof.
“It will make the water permeate the underworld,” Spencer said.
“We must not destroy anything here, the past can also change. We'll be the same as Olivia. We have to do something without having to make a mess.”
“But what?” ask Hazel.
“I know,” says Hamish suddenly. “We hold water and snow from above. We can make snow out of this water by crystallizing it,” he added.
“Yes, we can make snow that has been hundreds of years never below,” said Haikal happily.
Hazel looked at the two excited people. “That's great, even though Indonesia actually never had a snow season,” Hazel looked at Spencer. Because only Spencer is from the same age as Hazel.
“Really? Maybe this could be the greatest thing in history.” Hamish shrugged his shoulders.
“Alright, let's get started,” said Josh excitedly.
The five people left their hiding places.they would do the right thing, at least that's what they knew. They are without weapons, only Josh has his super glasses and Hazel abandons his anti-flazz.
When it got to the border, it looked like a military base. With tents everywhere and everyone holding Flazz. They entered the border through the back. The place where the solar panels line up. Because if they pass in front they will be arrested.
They hide behind solar panels to avoid being seen. Hazel's small body makes her completely invisible. They had to sneak in one by one to get in. Their nearest door was to their right.
Many officers walked here. Hazel stood up as the officers let their guard down and entered the door that went straight down. Hazel pulled the others down. Josh is next down, followed by Haikal, Hamish, and the last Spencer.
Actually Hazel was a little worried about her idea. Hazel was afraid that she would fail, she was afraid that everyone would hate her, everything above or below. He was afraid that he could not be like his father. He did not like working for the government, but his father always wanted Hazel to work in the government like his father. In stark contrast to the dreams he had while living downstairs, he dreamed his father had said the opposite.
Hazel bit down her lips, trying to concentrate. Spencer leads the way, he knows this place better than anyone else. This place was spacious enough to explore, but they had to search the central room as quickly as possible.
“Friends!” call Spencer. “I found it!”
Spencer went in first, then they all went in. There is one big screen that organizes everything automatically. The screen plunged the whole of Indonesia, this place like a satellite.
“Josh! I think this is your part,” Hazel told Josh.
Josh walked up to the screen trying the best he could. Josh gets into his water system, trying to turn the falling water to be crystallized into snow. Josh's face was very tense, but he tried to stay calm.
“We cannot destroy the source of the solar panel from here, but we can inhibit it from flowing,” explained Josh.
“Nothing,” said Hazel.
“The snow is down now, I set it up until the water runs out. It took ten hours for the water to run out.”
“I don't think we have a ten-hour job.” Hamish smiled as he shrugged his shoulders.
