A second later Jungkook immediately remembered what happened. Last night he accompanied Taehyung here, and he seemed to be asleep but there was someone helping him to lie down comfortably and be enveloped. Jungkook looked to the side, empty, no Taehyung. Jungkook immediately sat up, half shocked to think something bad happened again to the vampire.

Jungkook grabbed the blanket and got out of bed. He gasped to see Taehyung standing daydreaming on the balcony, looking at the sky.

Jungkook approached him immediately. So it seems like last night Taehyung moved it so Jungkook could sleep comfortably and soundly. Jungkook wonders if Taehyung is okay.

“Tae?”

Taehyung turned his head and gave a gentle smile to Jungkook who was already standing next to him. “Morning, Jeon. I hope you sleep well.”

Jungkook observes Taehyung. “How about you? What's your sleep?”

“Very.” Taehyung gives an eye smile that surprises Jungkook. So drastic is the change in V this morning. He looks very different but Jungkook is relieved that he sees a V like this.

“No one hurts?” ask Jungkook again. He realized that Taehyung had even changed clothes, no more blood stains on the face indicating Taehyung had cleaned himself, whether the vampire had been awake since when.

Taehyung.

“So...” says Jungkook slow. He already wanted to hear Taehyung's words about what happened yesterday, how Taehyung could be taken away to such a far away place.

“You haven't told me about what happened yesterday afternoon.”

Taehyung knows that Jungkook is currently asking for an explanation. He did not want to make Jungkook anxious and curious so he would tell her.

“Yesterday when I–or arguably my innocent– awaits you in front of the library. I was taken by a person I did not know and drugged. Then it looks like I was taken to a distant place.”

Jungkook's eyes grew surprised. “Who has done it? Why did you let yourself be taken by an unknown person?”

Taehyung looked down and smiled faintly. He's gonna go through the part where the one who did all that was Lisa. Taehyung will not tell that, he does not want to make Jungkook panic and confused. Taehyung will figure out his own way to clean up Lisa, how the woman has something to do with the syndicate. Well, in accordance with Taehyung's premonition all this time is not.

“I'm too innocent.. You know what Taehyung's innocent.” looks like.

Jungkook holds Taehyung's arm. “Then? Where were you taken?”

“You could say that place is a kind of vampire transit place that is captured for later will be handed over to the headquarters of the syndicate,” Taehyung said, “I have to say this but I hope you can take it well.”

Jungkook looked at Taehyung tensely.

“Jungkook, the one who caught me was hunter. They're three and they're in the process of converting me to a vampire sales syndicate.”

Jungkook froze, very dumbfounded. “Hunter?”

Taehyung returned Jungkook's fixed gaze. This may still be surprising because Jungkook's uncle is a hunter and it seems Jungkook once aspired to become a hunter. Taehyung did not want to make Jungkook's heart break with this news but he had no choice but to reveal the facts of what the hunter had been doing all along.

“I woke up when I was about to be exchanged and sent to the syndicate. What I'm telling you is gonna surprise you, Jungkook. But do you want to hear it?”

Jungkook gulped, tense. He nodded slowly. He believed in Taehyung, there was no reason for him to doubt what the vampire would tell him.

When Taehyung woke up, he went down and saw Seokjin sitting alone drinking his coffee. Looks like Alpha didn't sleep all night. Taehyung then tells him what happened yesterday and Seokjin also tells him about the vampire head in the box. Seokjin recounts that the head vampire is Vernon, one of the members of the vampire council, has a soulmate who is currently hysterical because he had previously had a dream about what happened to his soulmate. So tragic that Taehyung felt his stomach was very nauseous. It could be what the syndicate did. Taehyung goosebumps himself when imagining the condition of Vernon's soulmate now, must still be hit and very traumatic. Taehyung recalled that his hyungs said that he and Jungkook were soulmates. If the condition experienced by Vernon was experienced by Jungkook, no, no, Taehyung did not even want to imagine it.

“The one in the box I brought was the head of a vampire.” muttered Taehyung.

Jungkook is a horror.

“That head will be exchanged with me. I was kidnapped so that one of the hunters could get the vampire's head, I guess because there was a grudge and a personal problem. But before they took me to the syndicate, I was awake. I saved myself and killed them all.” Taehyung stared straight at Jungkook, waiting that Jungkook would think of him as a murderous vampire and that he was already a sadist. But nothing, Jungkook did not judge him at all.

Jungkook seemed to be thinking about something. Absolutely not terbesit in his mind considers Taehyung is a monster because it has killed. Jungkook will do the same if he is on the scene to save Taehyung from the hands of evil people. What Jungkook thinks is that even hunters are responsible for being the culprit behind vampire sales. Lest the hunter's job at capturing vampires is to hand them over to the syndicate to be exploited and have their blood sold?

Taehyung looked at Jungkook. To him this human before him was very meaningful and a part of his life these days. And Taehyung can't help but ask his doubts: “Are you afraid of me, Jungkook?” tanya Taehyung broke the silence.

Jungkook immediately raised his head and shook his head firmly. “What do you mean, of course not.”

“Because I have killed a lot.” continued Taehyung with a bitter tone.

Jungkook holds the vampire's arm, trying to convince her that Taehyung is not a murderer. “Those depraved ones. Everything that happened to you was because of their mistake. I will also finish them off. I'll finish off Dongwook if I meet him. The syndicate I'm going to destroy.”

Taehyung gave a faint smile. “It's dangerous, Jeon. I won't let you get involved any further.”

“I don't care. Since I'm determined, I will destroy the syndicate, the people who ruined your life and made you a vampire.”

Taehyung was quite surprised by Jungkook's words. Would that man be his support and help him?

They looked around and Taehyung felt a new strength and spirit.

Lee Dongwook in his office was very frustrated because he got two bad news at once. First, one of the transaction locations belonging to the syndicate was destroyed by tornadoes, three mafias were killed there. Second, there was a murder of three hunters even one of whom was the chief hunter! The incident occurred when one of his men delivered Vernon's head in exchange.

Dongwook's head almost broke because these two events were so detrimental to him. In addition to losing the syndicate's property, he also had to bear the loss. He had to spend a lot of money to hide the case of the death of three hunters, pay a lawyer and pay a cover-up fee. Damn. Dongwook felt like he wanted to run amok and scratch someone. He still did not know who had killed and finished off the hunters in such a terrifying manner. He did not have time to get information or photos about the vampire that will be exchanged.

It's frustrating because of how much his game lately hasn't gone his way. Jungkook and Taehyung escape from his grasp and how now it seems as if there is some kind of vampire attack on his business world. Damnit.

Dongwook clenched his hands tightly. He won't give up, he won't stop here. He will do everything in his power to defend this syndicate. Just look, Dongwook is going to do something as a counterattack.

“Three hunters killed in a horrible way!” tukas Donghyuk angry, “I had a chance to see their condition. I bet they were killed by vampires in a horrible way!”

Soojung who was sitting on the sofa said nothing. He still tried to focus on his college assignments on the laptop, trying to control his expression when he heard his uncle's speech. Donghyuk probably didn't know that Soojung wouldn't care about it. Soojung has even been on the side of vampires and is against the deeds of hunters.

Jungkook walked over to his uncle who kept talking. It seems like the hunters that are being talked about are the same hunters that Taehyung killed yesterday.

“Vampire is indeed a psychopath and a murderer!” said the middle-aged man, “You can imagine the hunter leader whom I have respected killed in a very tragic way.”

Jungkook flat expression and drank his cola. So one of the hunters killed was the chief hunter? Jungkook was very unconcerned that the dead man was the chairman though, which he obviously sided with Taehyung. His jaw began to harden with annoyance at the thought of what the hunters were trying to do to Taehyung.

“Hunter headquarters will look for the culprit until it can.” said Donghyuk is still urgency. “Fucking vampire! I'll hunt him!”

Jungkook's hand holding a soft drink can was clenched firmly. His teeth were trembling as he tried to hold back the anger.

“If I knew who the vampire was, I would chop his skin with a silver knife,” grumbled Donghyuk, “Then I would give him his carcass to be eaten by the ravens.”

Jungkook could no longer bear to hear his uncle say how his uncle was talking about Taehyung, imagining how to finish the vampire. Jungkook unknowingly squeezes the can of his soft drink until it crumbles and the water spills out. Jungkook is eager to protest and says that the hunters first hurt Taehyung and will even take him to a vampire sales syndicate!!

Donghyuk looked confused at Jungkook, seeing how soft drinks were spilling onto the floor, let alone the expression of his nephew who looked dislike.

“Kook, why?”

Soojung raised her face and looked at her sister, seeing Jungkook's expression, Soojung was sure that the incident that hit the hunter had something to do with the Kim clan. And Taehyung could have been a victim again in that incident until Jungkook now seemed so angry.

Jungkook clenched his hands tightly. Angry so mastered it that he was sure he could throw this soft drink can into his uncle's mouth so that his uncle stopped talking. Luckily, Soojung stood up immediately. He seemed to know what Jungkook was thinking.

Soojung holds Jungkook's arm, trying to calm her sister's emotions while their Uncle looks at the two in an incomprehensible manner.

“Kook, don't you have a lot of work to do?” soojung tries to distract. Jungkook turned his head and looked at his brother, his eyes were already red and almost teary with anger. “Go to your room, Kook.”

Jungkook is still staring at Soojung. Slowly his breathing returned to normal. Soojung picks up a crumpled can of soft drink from Jungkook's handle and signs Jungkook off.

Jungkook finally left and said nothing, even though he was eager to curse at his own uncle.

“What's with him?” donghyuk asked astonished at Jungkook's departure, “He looked angry.”

“He was just stressed out because of a lot of college assignments,” said Soojung flat. He picked up a tissue and started cleaning the softdrink spill on the floor, “That's reasonable.”

“He was very strange..” muttered Donghyuk but tried to believe Soojung's words.

Soojung smiled thinly. In this house both himself and Jungkook no longer believe in the job hunter. The fact that hunters work to find vampires is to sell them to syndicates. Perhaps that's why most hunters struggle with treasure because of how much money the syndicate gives to every vampire that can be captured.

That morning Jungkook returns to pick up Taehyung for them to go to campus together. Jungkook wonders if V will go back to hiding huh.

Jungkook saw the door of the house opened. Taehyung came out and ran small. He wears clothes in colorful colors: brown pants, green sweater, orange scarf and yellow skullcaps. Such a style was the typical style Taehyung possessed that was innocent. The weather this fall is getting colder, the students began to equip themselves with warm clothes. While Jungkook is still faithful with black and dark colors.

The door opened and Taehyung hurriedly got into the car. “Morning, Jungkookie~” with boxy smile.

Jungkook still looked at him. Taehyung was trying to install a seat belt when Jungkook said, “You V...”

Taehyung immediately turned his head with his eyes bulging.

“I know you are V.” said Jungkook again.

“M-mwo? How do you know?” tanya Taehyung was quite shocked. Today he deliberately wears the clothes Taehyung usually wears which are innocent, giving a wide and cheerful smile in order to lie to people. The hyungas were deceived this morning but why did Jungkook guess?

“I won't be fooled,” Jungkook said snorting. He himself did not know where this confidence came from until he could tell the difference between V and Taehyung. “You're not good enough at acting for me.”

“Whoa jinjja..” Taehyung twisting eyeballs but laughing too, “My hyungs alone can be fooled.”

Jungkook pokes and justifies Taehyung's disorganized scarf position. “What are you trying to cover up for? It doesn't work for me.”

Taehyung gave a big smile along with an eye smile. “So I can't lie to you anymore huh?”

“Of course.” Jungkook laughing.

Taehyung laughs and Jungkook starts to start the car for them to get out of there. Taehyung still put on a sweet smile and looked ahead. Yep, he did all this because he had a plan. He will not complain about Lisa's actions to Jungkook, because he himself will punish the woman. He himself will teach the woman a lesson.

“I'm excited for today..” muttered Taehyung smiled to himself.

Jungkook looked over and gave a smile. He was happy to see V's mood like this. At least Taehyung is no longer 3L like yesterday (weak, lethargic, letoy. wahahaha sorry for the language)

"Today's a good day?" tanya Jungkook gave a grin.

"Of course, Jungkookie.." Taehyung gave a smile to his rabbit teeth, "Live like you only live once."

Jungkook smiled widely and nodded in agreement. Well, life is only once, and once it's enough if done right.
