This novel is indeed 'slow burn', so it is slow to reach the core of the novel and its climax because the author must tell first how the process of relationship of each character. So not suddenly Soojung is dating Seokjin. or Taehyung is legitimately related to Jungkook and Jimin.

But did you know that this hasn't even reached halfway through the story? Because the conflict will probably start from this episode. You could say the previous 25 episodes were still prologue...

Jungkook nudged Taehyung's arm sitting next to him. While the lecturer was explaining the course, Taehyung instead played around with the beads under the table. His face seemed so focused and very excited, ignoring the course this afternoon.

Taehyung just turned his head for a while and re-inserted the beads into the rubber straps. It turned out to be true what Yoongi Hyung said, this was fun and exciting.

“What are you doing from earlier?” whispered Jungkook, “Let's get caught by Professor Lee.”

“A little more kok..” reply Taehyung. He carefully inserted black beads. “Good no?”

Jungkook raised his eyebrows. “You're making a bracelet?”

Taehyung nodded. “I want to give it to someone.” The vampire chuckled to himself.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung skeptically. Somebody? Does Taehyung admire a woman and want to give her a bracelet? Taehyung doesn't like someone. After all, isn't it very ancient to make your own bracelet from beads?

“You're glad you didn't get a bracelet like this?” taehyung asked while showing the bracelet that was almost done.

Jungkook looked at the bracelet. Actually Jungkook is not a lover of accessories and for him the bracelet made Taehyung is very simple, anyone can make it. Jungkook did not understand why Taehyung had to make it himself if he could find many such ones in the jewelry store.

Jungkook just shrugged his shoulders and looked back at the lecturer who was teaching.

Taehyung cut out his mouth. “This is ugly??”

Jungkook turned his head again, unable to see the face of his friend, reminding him of the eyes of a puppy who asked for pity. Aigoo…

“Anni, anni... that person will definitely be happy to get a bracelet from you.”.

“Jinjja?” Taehyung's eyes sparkled.

Jungkook sighed and nodded. “Can we now refocus on learning? Before Professor Lee caught us.”

Taehyung nodded and showed his boxed smile. Aigoo plain he just because he heard the original answer from Jeon Jungkook.

During the break, Jungkook found out that Taehyung made the bracelet for him and Jimin.

After having lunch together while waiting for his next course, Taehyung pulled something out of his bag. Three beaded bracelets are almost similar but only slightly differentiated with different colors. The dominant bead is black.

“Tarra~~~” exciting Taehyung while putting 3 bracelets on the table.

Jungkook gulped. Don't-don't these couple bracelets as a sign of friendship. Oh God he should have been able to prevent Taehyung from making these bracelets. Jungkook is not a lover of accessories and if he is told to wear this bracelet…….

“Whoa...” says Jimin, “It's a-by?”

Taehyung. “I made him.” he said proudly.

“Jinjja?” Jimin picked up one of the bracelets whose bracelet eyes are white, “This is good, Taetae.”

“This friendship bracelet from me~” Taehyung said with eye smile.

“Aww so sweet...” muttered Jimin while pinching his friend's cheek. Jimin immediately put on the bracelet he chose and showed it off. “How? Fits right?”

“It suits you~” Taehyung said while clenching two hands, happy because his bracelet was well received by Jimin. Taehyung turned to Jungkook. “Well, Kookie, which one do you want? The blue one or the red one?”

Jungkook gulped back. He couldn't possibly resist it, Taehyung might cry and Jimin would hate him. He couldn't possibly choose the color red because it was too flashy. Jungkook also took a blue bracelet. Taehyung and Jimin were still looking at him, as if waiting for him to wear the bracelet. Jungkook also wore the bracelet which was immediately greeted with cheers by Taehyung.

“Wow, you look cool, Kookie!!” taehyung said showing a smile of his box while giving a thumbs up.

“Ah jinjja...” Jungkook looked at the bracelet he was wearing. Hmm, not bad either.

“So I will wear the red one..” Taehyung said and took the remaining bracelet. He muttered cheerfully as the bracelet was already curled sweetly on his wrist.

“I feel like we are a power ranger just wearing this bracelet..” said Jimin in between laughter, “As if this bracelet will change us and give us superpower.”

Taehyung nodded in spirit. “It would be cool if we could be like that!”

“Gomawo, Taetae, for his bracelet..” murmured Jimin smiled. He feels Taehyung is too sweet. Their usual friendship can become more meaningful because of Taehyung's presence and innocence. Especially before he and Jungkook were not close but now become partners in crime. Taehyung's innocence makes Jungkook's cold heart melt. Jimin is happy he was able to experience friendship in his college days.

“The gate is very good..” Jungkook said in praise. He held each bead and felt that the bead was of sufficient quality, not childish as he thought. “Gomawo.”

Taehyung's smile expanded long. She's so happy. He hoped that he would continue to be with these two human friends. He hoped there would be no need for a barrier to keep them from being together. And although Taehyung is a vampire, if necessary Taehyung will continue to hide and dwarf his identity as long as he does not lose these two friends.

That afternoon after college ended, Soojung and Seokjin dated. This first date was self-determined by Soojung like a deal. Soojung takes Seokjin to the ice skating rink. Honestly, Soojung is very good at skating in ice skating rinks. Unknowingly he wanted to show his merits on this first date.

“Ice skating?” seokjin said when reading the name of the place they visited.

Both of them entered the skating rink while already wearing the proper equipment. As a warm-up they simply walked slowly on the ice rink while chatting. The atmosphere is not romantic nor is it tense. The atmosphere was so light, it did not charge anyone at all.

They started to take turns asking questions. As a first date, of course, the two want to get to know each other. The easiest thing is from the date of birth.

“24 October..” said the woman smiled small.

“Oh? A week before Halloween?”

Soojung snorted laughter. “Actually when we chat in a cafe talking about vampires, it's my birthday.”

Both of Seokjin's eyebrows shot up, slightly stunned, meaning Kai licks Soojung in the cafe back then even on the woman's birthday? If you remember, Seokjin felt Kai deserved a few punches back then. He should have done it if he knew like this.

“We continue yes the question. What is Oppa's favorite food?”

“Lobster, how about you?”

“You always copy my questions..” said the woman laughed, “But lobster includes high flavor. If I like pasta.”

Seokjin nodded, will remember it well. “Your favorite color, Soojung?”

“I like red, how about Oppa?”

“Red? I thought you liked the dark color. Red is quite astounding.”

Soojung. “I like red but don't like to dress red.”

Seokjin tilted her head while holding a smile. “It was pretty weird. If I like gray and maroon.”

“Then where does Oppa live and with whom?”

For a moment Seokjin felt speechless. How should he answer Soojung's question? Seokjin didn't want to cover anything from the woman. He also had a relationship like this with Soojung because she was seriously interested in Soojung. He doesn't want to lie to Soojung by saying she lives alone. In the end, Soojung will know the truth, right?

“I live with 3 brothers..” says Seokjin. He referred to his clan members as brothers although not blood. Close enough, right? Moreover, he did consider Yoongi, Namjoon and Taehyung as part of his family.

“Dongsaeng?” Soojung turned her head and was interested in getting curious.

“Yap, all men. We are home and I love them very much.”

Soojung smiled. “I imagine the home of 4 men without the presence of women.”.

Seokjin grunting. “Although we are all men but our house is very clean. One of my brothers was very happy to cook and clean in between his free time. My other sister prefers to study and read books, while the youngest at home is still very spoiled but her mood affects us all the most.”

“Wah..” Soojung amazed. He also has a younger brother, but Jungkook prefers to spend time playing games and even if they are together at home, they will only talk about vampires with Uncle. “Definitely your home atmosphere is very crowded and pleasant.”

Seokjin. “Then what about you? Ah... I remember, you said it once: you live with your sister and uncle huh?”

Soojung nodded. “Then you can change your question, Oppa.”

“Your favorite band?”

“Phony Ppl.”

“Wow I didn't expect it, Soojung..” muttered Seokjin, “It turns out you're a hiphop.” fan

Soojung. “I think Oppa doesn't know that band.”

“I of course know... Then what if now we slide on ice ?”

Soojung nodded. They both ran and danced on the ice. Those who had previously only walked casually now chases cheerfully, sometimes while laughing. Soojung smiled widely even until her cute hunch. Soojung showed off how she could glide by raising one leg in the air. Seokjin applauded the woman's flexibility.

Seokjin held Soojung's hand, they glided together around the arena agilely. Even some people who also play there wonder who is the visual couple who is playing on this ice board. Both are like idols who are showing their abilities in front of the TV.

That night Seokjin was unceasingly smiling. His heart was very light, and for a moment he forgot that he was a vampire.

After being satisfied with ice skating, Soojung invites Seokjin to eat at her favorite restaurant. The restaurant also sells lobster which of course makes Seokjin very excited. They eat and spend the night chatting and throwing questions to get to know each other.

Meanwhile, Namjoon was in a hurry. He who is new from the mini market to buy ice cream (Taehyung was sending a message so that before returning Namjoon stopped by to buy ice cream for him), felt that he was followed by someone. Damn, Namjoon should have brought his bike.but because these days lurking Hoseok life, Namjoon did not bring a motor to campus.

And the bad news is that the one who was following him was Hoseok himself.

What the fuck. Are they hiding and hiding? Is Hoseok wondering where Namjoon lives? What will Hoseok do when he finds out that Namjoon lives with his vampire clan? Is Hoseok going to hurt the vampires?

Namjoon tried to shake off his bad thoughts. Hoseok couldn't have done it. Hoseok is a vampire lover, Yoon-gi has already said that Hoseok will not be a threat. But Namjoon was worried. Aren't some vampire lovers trying to exploit vampires to satisfy their curiosity? Ah what if Taehyung is threatened. Damn, Namjoon felt that someday he would need to have a serious chat with Hoseok about this. They have to make a deal and an agreement.

Namjoon accelerated his pace. For now he will not let Hoseok know where his house is. He must quickly go and disappear from the sight of the man. The ability of each vampire is to move 3 times faster than ordinary humans. With that ability, Namjoon immediately rushed across the highway and planned to turn and disappear before he reached the residential area.

The new Namjoon will turn the other way when he hears the sound of horns and brakes that wrench the ears. Some people were screaming. Looks like there was an accident. Namjoon immediately turned his head as he smelled the scent of blood in the air. His eyes widened when he realized it was the scent of Hoseok.

He ran back to the highway and was shocked to see Hoseok lying on the paved road, his head bleeding a lot and his hand position was so awkward, so paralyze. A plastic package containing Taehyung's order of ice cream, fell to the floor. Namjoon was shocked to see this sight.

A truck stopped near the body of the man who was not moving. The driver got out of the car and grabbed his hair frantically looking at the person he accidentally hit.

“I really didn't see him running across the highway like earlier,” said the poor middle-aged driver, “He should have crossed at the zebra cross instead of in the middle of the highway.”

Namjoon's eyes are still wide. Hoseok must have been chasing him and crossed the highway without seeing a truck that was speeding. Hoseok had a tragic accident while trying to chase the vampire. Will Namjoon no longer be suspected and his identity will not be revealed by his own classmates?

The boisterous atmosphere that seeped around Hoseok like in-mute. Someone called an ambulance, but no one tried to check on Hoseok. Namjoon didn't hear anything. His ears focused on hearing the sound of Hoseok's heartbeat that he could hear. Heartbeats are not like humans in general. Hoseok's heart rate is getting weaker.

Namjoon's hands were clenched. At a time like this what should he do? Bringing Hoseok to the hospital, the doctor will not be able to save him with the severe condition experienced by Hoseok. The man will not be saved by an ordinary doctor, unless….

Shits.

Namjoon moved, attacking the crowd. “Excuse me, he's my friend. He's my friend!!” he cried so that he could get rid of the people who were crowding. And without a second thought, Namjoon raised Hoseok's blood-stained body. He'll take her to his house.

The vampire hurriedly carried Hoseok's critical body to the residence of Kim's clan. He hopes Seokjin is home to save the life of Hoseok who is on the edge of this horn.
