Jungkook closed his eyes with frowning brows. Taehyung was biting and sucking his blood. At first there was pain, a kind of pain pierced by a syringe, and after that there was nothing, although Jungkook felt a little uneasy imagining that now his blood was flowing out sucked by Taehyung.

When closing eyes like that somehow Jungkook like seeing flashback memories they used to. Very painful memories. The moment Jungkook hurts Taehyung's feelings :

“You want to talk heart to heart?” tukas Jungkook half scorn. Taehyung nodded innocently.

“My parents. I want to take revenge on vampires.. Because of vampires... because of vampires I lost my parents!”.

“And I never thought, I was even destined to be friends with one of them!” continued Jungkook cold.

Taehyung. Eyes are already glazed.

“You are a vampire.” Jungkook said. A voice laden with disappointment, anger and disgust.

“Today you lied to me. You are a vampire! Why are you trying to be my friend?”

“Jungkook... a-I can explain it..” Taehyung's tears started flowing.

“I can't be friends with vampires..” said Jungkook bitterly, “For me it was the biggest mistake of my life.”

“Andwae..” isak Taehyung is very injured. “Andwae, Jungkook.”

“You are terrible. You're monster.”

Taehyung. His friend's words were too painful to accept. “A-I'm not a monster.”

Jungkook laughed gruntingly. “I've always wondered why this world should be occupied by vampires? This world is not fit for vampires.”

Taehyung was crying more and more, tears were pouring down his cheeks. “I never asked myself to be born a vampire..” isak Taehyung raucous, “I never asked for it.”

“What's my fault that I'm a vampire?” isak Taehyung pleaded.

“I can't be friends with vampire.” Jungkook looked at the bracelet he was wearing. The bracelet is a friendship bracelet that Taehyung once made, a bracelet that Jungkook has always worn. “This bracelet too...” Jungkook released his bracelet, “I no longer need it.”

Taehyung shook his head with tears already dripping onto the ground. “Please, Jungkook…. I'm sorry that I'm a vampire. But please remain my friend.”.

Taehyung's world collapsed before his eyes as Jungkook threw the bracelet on the floor as if he didn't care that the meaning of the bracelet meant so much to Taehyung. The vampire was crying more and more.

“Enyahlah..” Jungkook tukas for the last time, “I can not be friends with you anymore.” With his words as sharp as a knife, Jungkook passed away leaving Taehyung who was still crying.

Jungkook did not understand why he suddenly saw bitter memories that would only add to his guilt and regret. He used to hurt Taehyung so much like that.

Jungkook slowly opened his eyes, timidly he saw his arm that had been bitten. There was a reddish bite mark, a Taehyung canine mark that stuck on his skin. He glanced at the vampire next to him who was already normal-faced although the fangs were still plastered and there was a hint of residual blood on his lips.

Damn.. Jungkook feels like he wants to faint if he remembers he just became a vampire victim.

“Taehyung is back in time..” said Namjoon relieved.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung with a pattern. He thought being bitten by a vampire would cause pain and trauma. It's weird, isn't it?

Taehyung replies to Jungkook's view and immediately hides his fangs. Situations like this are awward. He must suck blood from people who hate vampires and have a personal vendetta against vampires. Does Taehyung now add to the trauma and hatred within that human being?

“I think Jungkook's arm should be compressed first so as not to cause bluish marks,” said Yoongi. The dhampir turned to Hoseok, “Hoseok, please bring Jungkook down to be compressed and give our guests a meal and vitamins.

Hoseok nodded. He patted Jungkook on the shoulder, signalling him to get out of bed immediately. Jungkook according to, he is still speechless for what just happened. He felt very dazed.

Taehyung looked down, he couldn't even say thank you. He still didn't understand why only Jungkook's blood didn't make him vomit.

After Hoseok and Jungkook had already left the room, Namjoon finally said, “Thank God, everything is going smoothly. But why isn't it just Jungkook's blood that keeps Taehyung from vomiting?”

Yoongi gave a faint smile. “Last time when Taehyung was dying, Jungkook gave his blood to Taehyung..it was the first time Taehyung sucked human blood directly.”

“Mwo?” Namjoon winced in wonder. “But that doesn't mean that vampires can only suck human blood, right? I'm really looking at other vampires who can still suck different human blood.”

Yoongi looks at Taehyung's face which looks shocked and confused. How not? Isn't this some kind of karma for Taehyung and Jungkook? It was as if the gods were punishing and giving both of them a lesson in their respective wrongs. Jungkook who initially rejected vampires and even almost gave up Taehyung on the hunter. All of this is like a fruit.

“Soulmates...” says Yoongi slowly, “I've heard of that kind of thing. Conditions where vampires will only be able to consume blood from one human.”

Taehyung's face was getting shocked. He can only drink blood from Jungkook???

“S-soulmate?” Namjoon turned his back on Yoon-gi, much to his surprise.

Taehyung had never heard of such a thing, nor did he believe so much in such a thing in the universe. Yoongi might be making it up. Him and Jungkook soulmates?

“Couples sejiwa..” continued Yoongi, “I guess when Jungkook first gave his blood to Taehyung a few weeks ago that's where they started bonding.”

Namjoon let out a dramatic sound. Jeez why Yoongi's words gave her goosebumps, it's like a TV drama!

“Don't make it up,” hiss Taehyung glared at Yoongi, “What made me and Jungkook become soulmates for no reason?”

Yoon-gi smiled thinly. “Jungkook is your first friend, Tae. I remember how much you appreciated him as a true friend. You're best friends, trusting each other until Jungkook's trust is tested when he finds out you're a vampire Namjoon listened to Yoonghi in amazement, the words coming out of the mouth of the dhampir were like the script of a famous movie.

“Jungkook is at a crossroads, between wanting to avenge the death of his parents or choosing you to stay by his side.” continued Yoongi. “And finally he regretted, wanted to remain your friend. I think that's when he gave you your blood, that's where the soulmate agreement began. Perhaps gods also participated, uniting two conflicting worlds. The bonding door opens between the two of you.”

“Stop! Don't equate my life like a picisan fairy tale!” Taehyung's jaw hardened and inexplicably he felt that the words of Yoon-gi were weighing heavily on him. Soulmate. He doesn't want to be tied to anyone!

“Hwoa...” muttered Namjoon amazed, “This is so cool.”

Taehyung squinted his eyes cynically at Namjoon, so Hyungya might think so.

“This shows that you two are indeed destined to be true friends,” comments Namjoon, “It's not as hateful as you are to Jungkook… It's as if the gods want to reconcile the human world and the vampire world through you two. Daebak, I almost shed my tears.”

Taehyung wants to throw a pillow at his hyung which further damages his mood. He's not a playwright, he doesn't want his life to be played like that.

“My explanation could have been wrong,” Yoon told Taehyung, “But that's all that makes sense if you can only suck Jungkook's blood. You can believe it or not, it's up to you.”

Taehyung grunts. “We can't possibly soulmate.” His jaw hardened, considering how Jungkook used to try to trap him, harming him. There is a soulmate who did such a cruel thing huh? “He's not my soulmate, he's just a blood bag for me.”

Yoon-gi smiled thinly. It's only natural that Taehyung doesn't speak to Yoon-gi. Such a thing was impossible for Taehyung to accept. Yoongi did not guarantee that his words were 100% correct.

“What is clear is that you can only drink his blood.” muttered Yoongi smiled softly. Taehyung's face hardened even more, the fact that there made him very upset.

Meanwhile, Hoseok brings Jungkook to the kitchen, compressing Jungkook's arm from Taehyung's bite so that it will not be swollen and bluish. Hoseok also prepares drinks and food for Jungkook, ensuring that the donor does not limp after the ‘’ blood transfusion that has just been done.

Hoseok looked at the face of Jungkook who was still pongo since earlier, whether it was an expression of shock or a dazed expression that Jungkook had, as if something had disturbed the human mind since then.

Jungkook nodded.

“Um...” Hoseok stared at Jungkook hesitantly. He wondered what Jungkook felt like when a vampire bit and sucked blood. Hoseok had never experienced it so it made him curious. “What hurts when Taehyung bites you?”

Jungkook gasped and raised his face. “No. It doesn't hurt.”

“Jinjja?” Hoseok raised his eyebrows.

“It should hurt?” Jungkook asked in confusion.

“Well I mean.. It feels like maybe a wild beast tearing your skin apart, maybe?”

Jungkook gulped. Does that have to be the pain? But honestly, he did not feel any pain. It hurts more when the doctor draws your blood in the hospital. What Taehyung did earlier did not make Jungkook traumatized.

“Do not scare our donors, Hoseok!” namjoon said that his voice sounded from another room. A few seconds later he popped into the kitchen with his eyes glaring at Hoseok.

Hoseok just scratched his head and grimaced. “I don't know what it's like to be bitten by a vampire, so I'm just curious.”

“The taste of course hurts,” said Yoongi who came to the kitchen, “There is a bite that does not hurt?”

“But Jungkook says do not feel pain..” Hoseok said.

Yoongi glanced at Jungkook and gave a smile. “If the donor gives it willingly and sincerely, of course it does not hurt.”

Jungkook returned Yoonghi's gaze. What is the meaning behind the dhampir words, the meaning of denotation or connotation?

“Yeah, especially if soulmate..” whispered Namjoon trying to hold back laughter. Hoseok frowned at Namjoon, not understanding his Master's words.

“Then where's Taehyung?” ask Jungkook who did not hear Namjoon's words earlier. “Is she okay?”

“He's back to normal,” says Yoongi, “He still wants in his room.”

Jungkook nodded. Hoseok patted the human shoulder. “Kajja. You must be hungry.”

“By the way tonight your brother will come here right?” namjoon asked as he sat in the bar stool while Hoseok was opening the refrigerator, seeing what he could cook quickly for Jungkook.

Jungkook nodded. Tonight he and Soojung are invited by Seokjin to dinner at the Kim Brothers residence, perhaps some kind of introduction and a familiarity event.

“Jimin will also come.” added Yoongi. Jimin is already considered a part of the Kim family due to the closeness of Jimin and Taehyung. “So I think you can stay here, Jungkook, until tonight's show arrives.”

Hoseok gave a grin to Yoongi, his hand holding the frying pan. “Later tonight Yoongi Hyung will be cooking. She's very good at cooking. You like steaks, don't you, Jungkook-ssi?”

Yoongi grunted softly. “Everybody would love a steak. But Taehyung is fan number 1.”

Jungkook only listened to the vampires talking. Looks like Taehyung's favorite food still hasn't changed huh? The old Taehyung and Taehyung who now both love steak? Isn't Taehyung a double personality? Jungkook still thinks that Taehyung who now is not the same as Taehyung who he used to know.

Until nightfall Taehyung did not come out of his room. Seokjin has gone home from work and he is very relieved when he hears that Taehyung is no longer sick, yeah a little surprised that Jungkook's blood has saved Taehyung. Again.

Yoongi prepared a special dinner, the best steak dish, of course because there is a favorite guest of Alpha who will come to this house. Yoongi will make sure his cooking is positively effective. At about seven o'clock in the evening Soojung arrived, not too surprised to see her sister already there.

Jimin came soon too. He chatted briefly with Jungkook until Namjoon asked Jimin to go to Taehyung's room, telling him to join soon because dinner was about to start.

Jungkook sat down to join at the dining table. She sees the interaction between her brother and Seokjin's sweet. The two chatted quietly with meaningful smiles. And Seokjin also looks very gentle and can treat Soojung very well. Jungkook is quite satisfied and feels safe looking at their relationship.

“Nah finally Taehyung appeared too.” muttered Hoseok who disperse the reverie of Jungkook.

Jungkook looks at Taehyung and Jimin who emerge from the door and join at the dining table. Although Jungkook looked at Taehyung but the vampire did not look at him, as if dodging.

Yep it's true, Taehyung is dodging. He just still feels awward with Jungkook, still can't believe that Jungkook is his soulmate? What kind of shit is that? Unfortunately he also sat in front of Jungkook at this dinner, making him have to extra avoid Jungkook's gaze.

“Because everything has gathered,” said Seokjin with a fluffy smile, “I want to introduce my lover to all of you.”

Soojung smiled shyly and Seokjin's hand under the table had been clutching her ever since.

“Include my girlfriend Soojung, she is also the older sister of Jungkook.” continued Seokjin.

Hoseok applauded while the others gave a friendly smile to the beautiful woman sitting next to the Alpha. Taehyung also gives a polite smile to Soojung, only to find out that their Alpha is dating Jungkook's older sister. But what does it matter? That's none of his business.

“Nah, Soojung..” says Seokjin, “I'll introduce my family to you.” Seokjin introduces her clan starting from the vampire who sits close to her. “What's on my left is Yoongi, I heard you guys have already chatted?”

Soojung nodded and smiled back at Yoon-gi. He couldn't possibly forget the dhampir who had introduced himself to it. According to Soojung, Yoon-gi was very wise and every word was so mature.

“Then beside Yoongi is Namjoon, the final level lecture at the same campus as us,” said Seokjin, “Then there was Taehyung.. Ah, he's Jungkook's best friend.”

Taehyung chokes softly hearing how Alpha introduces himself as Jungkook's best friend. The hell??

Jimin held back a smile but instantly gave Taehyung a glass of water.

“Oh!” soojung said stunned as he looked at Taehyung. He recalled that the vampire was a vampire who tried to save his sister from death, although Jungkook himself almost harmed her. “Greetings, Taehyung-ssi.”

Taehyung smiled faintly. He didn't need to look ahead of him, he knew that now Jungkook's face must be triumphant.

“Next there is Hoseok,” said Seokjin, “He has not long joined this clan.”

Hoseok's smile was wide. He is proud to have joined the vampire clan.

“There's Jimin over there, he's also your brother's best friend, Soojung-ah, I think you already know?”

Soojung gave a nod. He had seen Jimin when Jimin came to stay over to play a game with Jungkook. Jimin gave a cute smile to Soojung.

Seokjin looked at everyone in the place one by one. “I hope we can get closer and get to know each other. The difference between humans and vampires will no longer be a barrier between us. Let's cheers for the beginning of a sweet relationship between us all~”

Seokjin lifted her glass into the air followed by the other glasses that were raised.

“Cheers~!” they roared and toasted together.

Jungkook drinks while watching Taehyung whose face is flat, as if he is not interested in tonight's event. Jungkook is increasingly convinced that Taehyung did avoid him. Jungkook doesn't want to be appreciated, but didn't his actions earlier this afternoon show that he sacrificed himself to save Taehyung? But it was as if Taehyung did not want Jungkook to be in front of him right now.
