An hour later, Jimin was awake. His limbs were still a little numb but he could no longer fall asleep, no matter how long he had been asleep. Jimin stared at the ceiling trying to remember what last happened to him.

“Jiminnie..”.

Jimin turned his head and saw Taehyung sitting by the bed, looking at him anxiously. Ahh, she remembered. Taehyung brought her from the basement just before her mother tried to transfuse her blood.

“Tae..?”

“Drink first...” says Yoongi gives Jimin a glass of water.

Jimin was astonished to see that Taehyung hyung was in his room. He also saw another man, tall and handsome, standing looking at him. Is that person also another Taehyung hyung? His friend called his two hyungs for help?

Jimin received a glass and took a deep sip of water. He felt better when he drank a glass of mineral water. Taehyung helps her to sit up on the bed.

“Tae, where's my mom?” ask Jimin. Her last memory was her mother fainting injected dope by Taehyung. And although Jimin still questions what his mother is trying to do to him, Jimin remains concerned about the woman's condition.

“Your mother is already in her room, sleeping.” Taehyung said half nervously. Seokjin had gone to the basement and controlled the woman's memory, erasing the memory associated with vampire exploitation, making the woman never remember what she had done to Jimin with regard to vampires.

Jimin looked at Taehyung then looked at Yoon-gi and the other men in his room. He was still confused as to what was really going on. “A-I don't understand, Tae.. why did my mom do that to me..”.

Yoon-gi smiled thinly. Humans like Jimin may never understand because they don't know anything about vampires. But Jimin's mother seemed to know enough about vampires and somehow managed to lock them in her house, draw their blood and transfuse vampire blood on Jimin periodically. Yoongi predicts the woman may have been one of a group of scientists in Seoul who exploited vampires. They are an exclusive group that even the vampires of the world are trying to chase and destroy this syndicate. Not yet known who the mastermind/big boss in this syndicate. From year to year there is indeed news from other clans about the missing vampire. It could have been ‘work’ done by mad scientists.

But looking closely, it seems Jimin's mother did it only for Jimin's good, not to do it for the syndicate group. Yoon-gi still has to figure out why the former doctor repeatedly transfused vampire blood on her son. If you want to stay young, why not transfuse the vampire's blood on yourself? Jimin is young, his life is long…

Taehyung could not answer his friend's question. He let his hyunga answer Jimin's question.

Seokjin took a few steps closer to the bed. He looked at Jimin, believing that the human was Taehyung's trusted friend, who valued Taehyung as a friend, not a monster.

“Your mother is trying to transfuse vampire blood into your body.” Seokjin said calmly but cautiously.

“Mwo?” Jimin was surprised to hear that, “Vampire?” Let's say he never imagined that a vampire-like creature was real in this world.

Taehyung looked at Seokjin anxiously. Is it safe to tell Jimin that much? Will their clan identity be safe?

“It is believed to make one's body stronger and high stamina.” continued Seokjin. He did not want to extend this explanation, he would let Jimin guess for himself whether his words were true or not.

Jimin looked at Seokjin in shock. Is that also what causes sometimes he is very high energy, not tired even though he has long hours of dance practice? Does it also have something to do that makes it sometimes able to move quickly and salto in the air?

Yoongi gave a smile, feeling the emotional upheaval within Jimin.

“We can think about that later,” said Seokjin, “For now there are things you need to do, Jimin-ssi.”

Jimin looked at Taehyung in confusion. Taehyung gave a nod while squeezing his chingunya shoulder.

They all went to the basement. Jimin felt his energy had returned to normal, no longer weak. He followed them into the basement using the door in the kitchen. Jimin never knew there was a basement in his house. He knew the door but it was always locked and his mother told him it was just an ordinary barn. He did not expect that the door was connected to the basement, where his mother might work and spend time.

Jimin creeps back when he hears moaning from another room in the basement. Is there a vampire in there? Is it true that his mother locked up vampires and took vampire blood to be transfused into his body?

The voices stopped as the four of them reached near the door made of silver.

“We have to take out whatever is in there..” muttered Seokjin turned to Jimin, “Can you open that door for us?”

Jimin's eyes widened to look at Seokjin. What did he mean, why did he open the door? Why not just them? What if there's a vampire coming out directly attacking and sucking his blood. Lest he be slaughtered.

“Trust us...” said Yoongi patted Jimin on the shoulder.

Jimin gulped. However this was his home, and what was inside was one of his own mother's deeds. If he is grounded, he must accept it.

Jimin walked forward to the door. He looked back, looking at Taehyung who gave a nod to him. Jimin unlocks the door that hangs there. So slow as slow motion.Jimin opened the silver door. His eyes could only stare when he saw what was inside.

“KYAAA...” pekikya. He looked back at the horror of seeing inside there was a vampire figure.His skin was already half blackened, lying on the floor, looking at him with his vampire eyes bright red in the dimly lit room.

Yoon-gi immediately darted, pulling Jimin's body from the front door. Seokjin moved quickly to the front of the door without touching it. He saw for himself the vampire in there, clearly exploited. When viewed from the condition, the vampire was locked up for quite a long time, maybe a month or two months.

“Taehyung, take your friend upstairs.”, said Yoongi to a frightened baby vampire. Taehyung never thought that humans could do such a thing to vampires? What is it that vampires have to be captured and their blood taken to be exploited as research material?

Jimin was still visibly shaken by what he saw while Taehyung immediately held onto Jimin's already extremely cold arm. Taehyung pulls Jimin, takes him out of the basement. He'll let his hyungas finish the rest.

Jungkook glanced back at the wall clock in his room. The clock is showing at half 1 am. Jungkook has been studying for the exam tomorrow. He had called Taehyung several times since 11 but his friend never picked him up. Jungkook wondered, did Taehyung fall asleep? Didn't Taehyung promise to stay up late and call her?

Jungkook looked at the phone on the table, fondling what he should call Taehyung again. He became anxious, actually what did Taehyung do until he had not called him?

Jungkook picked up the phone and tried to call Taehyung back. Long time did not lift until finally heard Taehyung's voice across greeted him. Jungkook was relieved when he heard Taehyung's voice.

“Halo, Kookie?” Taehyung's voice sounded exhausted and there was the sound of the highway as well, as if Taehyung wasn't in his house.

“Tae? You're where? Outside?” ask Jungkook wonder.

“Iya, I'm on my way home..”.

“Mwo? Where'd you? It's been very night.”

“Ta-so I'm from Jimin's house..” says Taehyung carefully. He could not if he had to lie to Jungkook by saying a false excuse. “This is me being ushered home by my hyungku, Kookie.”

Jungkook can't figure out what Taehyung did at Jimin's house until this late?

“Tae, tomorrow there is a test... Why did you go to Jimin's house?”

“Ta-so I visited Jiminnie..” said Taehyung nervously, “A-I forgot the time, hehe. But now I'm going to get home and I'm going to study, I promise.”

Jungkook sighed softly. He scratched his own hair. How could his two friends even play while there is a test tomorrow?

“Mi-mian, Jungkookie, you've been calling since? If you're done studying and going to sleep, it's okay, I'll stay up late and study, hehe.”

“Anniya, gwenchana, I still haven't finished studying. I'll still learn in a few hours.”

“Yeay!” sahut Taehyung across the street. “Well, I'm home. I'll learn straight away.”

“Arra.. arra..” says Jungkook slowly. He puts his phone on the standee and activates the loud speaker mode, letting Taehyung talk across telling him Taehyung is getting ready to start learning.
