Seokjin smelled Soojung's scent in the air. He looked ahead and saw the woman who was walking in the opposite direction, towards him. Seokjin won't make complicated problems weird. He will not ask the woman for an explanation about Soojung's attitude that suddenly changed to her.
So Seokjin averted her eyes, looking the other way ignoring the woman.
Seokjin continued walking while Soojung was standing still, looking at her as if she were a ghost. The vampire's jaw was hardened, trying to strengthen his stance to ignore Soojung, although there was little anxiety in him when he saw Soojung's deathly pale face.
And just like that. Seokjin passed through it, not saying hello, not rolling her eyes at the female student who had kissed her.
He let Soojung who still continues to look at him while he continues to walk then turn into another hallway, missing from Soojung's eyes.
His first meeting was with Soojung when the woman was still Junior High. Seokjin rescues Soojung from two Cha clan who are sucking her blood. Actually Seokjin could not interfere in that business. Clan Cha could have wiped his tracks after sucking human blood despite breaking the rules. But there was a strong urge inside Seokjin, telling her to help Soojung. There was such a surge of emotion inside him that he almost killed one of the vampires. And he takes the fainted Soojung to the hospital, takes care of all her treatment and manipulates the incident. He manipulates the memory of the police and the doctors so that they are convinced that Soojung had an accident. But there's one thing Seokjin didn't do: he didn't erase Soojung's memory back then. Because he didn't want to do it. The woman deserves to remember what happened to her.
And now that the woman has grown up, Seokjin still cares and thinks of Soojung like this, worrying about her like this.
Seokjin blew the bangs out loud. He immediately turned around and returned to the direction where he met Soojung. He has to clean up all this. At least they don't have to pretend to be strangers anymore.
Seokjin looks at Soojung who is walking slowly. Hands against the wall while holding their heads. Feeling anxious, Seokjin sped up her steps towards the woman, holding Soojung's body that was about to fall to the floor.
Seokjin's eyes were bulging, seeing clearly that humans were sick. Soojung's face was very pale.
The woman returned the look in her eyes, holding her arm with the rest of the energy she had. “Mian..” whispered softly.
“So-Soojung..”Seokjin was shocked when Soojung collapsed unconscious. Spontaneously Seokjin held the woman in bridal style and immediately took her to the health room. Some of the students looked at it in astonishment, wondering what really happened until a lecturer held his student like that.

Taehyung and Jungkook were eating together in the cafeteria. Since the incident behind the laboratory building, Taehyung did not want to discuss the matter. Each of his friends asked what was really going on, Taehyung seemed to avoid it, saying that it was all a mere misunderstanding. How could all of that be a misunderstanding when they saw how Taehyung cried being hurt by the two senior students?
And Jungkook always can't bear to discuss it again at every opportunity.
“Have you told your hyung about the incident?” ask Jungkook suddenly.
Taehyung. He stopped eating and looked at Jungkook who asked suddenly. Taehyung did not understand the context of Jungkook's question at first, but after a while Taehyung raised his eyes on his friend. “M-mwo?”
Jungkook raised his eyebrows. “So you didn't tell that to your hyung?”
Taehyung. He pretended to laugh cheerfully. “Nothing to tell, Jungkookie.”
“Although it was a misunderstanding but you should have told your hyung. They'll probably try to defend and protect you, Tae.”
“I told you that two people were just the wrong target..” Taehyung said lying, “I don't want to make my hyung anxious by telling me about it.”
Jungkook's face hardened, disagreeing with Taehyung's opinion. “The two people are from Architect majors, I've already found out about them.”
Taehyung was surprised to hear that. He did not expect Jungkook would find out about the two seniors who attacked him behind the Lab building.
“We can complain to the chairman of BEM, Tae..” said Jungkook, “So this will not happen again in the future. After all it's still violence even if you say they're mistargeted.”
Taehyung. “I-it's not necessary, Jungkook. I-I've forgiven them.”
“Mwo?” Jungkook looked at Taehyung in disbelief. Forgive me? The word was never in Jeon Jungkook's dictionary. He was never taught to forgive. He was always reminded to be able to avenge the same thing on the person who committed the crime on him. His uncle always taught him to hold a grudge against the vampires who had killed his parents. There is no excuse that Jungkook has not been able to give the same taste to the vampire who killed his parents.
Taehyung gave a doubtful smile. He was afraid of a serious Jungkook like this. He did not want his vampire identity to be discovered if he extended the matter about Woobin and Xiumin. He's not ready now. He is not ready to lose his friends.
Taehyung holds Jungkook's hand on the table. “Jungkookie, I beg you.”.
Jungkook snorted, inexhaustible with Taehyung's thoughts. “Are you sure?”
Taehyung gave a nod.
“Then what about the wounds they made?” ask Jungkook again.
Taehyung. “My wounds are healed. I'm fine, Kookie.” That's not entirely true. On Taehyung's chest there was still a blue scar and his blistered skin could not heal. So terrible is the effect of silver on the body of a vampire.
Jungkook finally sighed. “Arraseo. And don't call me Kookie! It was very cringe.”
Taehyung puckered, showing his boxed smile. “But it's good and sounds good to you. Kookie~~~”
“Aish, don't call me Kookie.”
“I'll tell Jiminnie about your new call. He definitely agrees.”
“Ya!!” jungkook hatch. He could imagine Jimin's devilish laughter now if he heard the new call.
Taehyung gave a big smile and went back to eating. He hopes Jungkook will not discuss the incident behind the Lab building. Case closed's. He also hoped that Woobin and Xiumin would not bother him anymore, had they already avenged Taehyung by hurting the vampire baby? That's enough isn't it?
After eating Taehyung showed me his cell phone gallery. Jimin sent selfies from Jimin's phone while in Itaewon.
“Look around, our photos while in Itaewon... hahaha I just realized we are not at all creepy, Kookie.”.
“Your costume is very good, Kookie,” praise Taehyung, “Jungkook the Vampire.”
“Ughh don't call me that.”
“Wae?” Taehyung held back a smile, “You will be in a vampire costume, suit you.”
“Taehyung!” hatch Jungkook cut. He was disturbed by this conversation. He dressed up as a vampire on Halloween not because he liked vampires, but vice versa! He hated vampires.
Jungkook looked at Taehyung with a frown. “I don't like to be called that. I hate vampires, Tae.”
Taehyung's eyes widened upon hearing his friend's sudden confession. Jungkook hates vampires. Jungkook asked for his vampire card, then in Itaewon Jungkook dressed up as a vampire, so Taehyung assumed that Jungkook had an interest in vampires. Not the hate he said just now.
Jungkook was still staring at Taehyung straight up, seeing Taehyung's expression change like shock so. Jungkook has never told anyone about his hatred of vampires. But somehow he wanted to tell Taehyung plainly at this time.
Taehyung's feet under the table were shaking. Jungkook hates vampires? Then what happens if Jungkook finds out Taehyung is a vampire? His first friend was leaving him..? Nope, no. Taehyung didn't want that to happen. He must be able to cover his secrets as best as possible, lest Jungkook know that he is a vampire.
They were still glancing around in a tense atmosphere until Jimin finally came to their table, breaking the mood. “Hey!” jimin said as he hit the table trying to surprise his two friends. “Mian, I'm late, there's group work.” Jimin took a seat next to Jungkook, leaning against the sofa, exhausted. “Ahh I'm hungry.”
Jimin looked at Taehyung and Jungkook alternately, noticing the strange atmosphere between the two. Jimin frowned in surprise. “What's up? Why do you look at that? Why is it so serious?”
Taehyung blinked and shook his head. “A-anni..”.
Jungkook did not comment. He took a drink and took a slow gulp while occasionally watching Taehyung.
“A-I go to the toilet first yes.” murmured Taehyung. He was still in shock and trembling after talking about vampires, and he needed to calm down for a while.
The baby vampire stood up and went to the toilet. Jimin looked at the departure of his friend in wonder. “Dia why?” Jimin felt Taehyung was not like usual, his friend was like he was scared and shocked.
Jungkook put his shoulder down.
“What were you guys talking about?” ask Jimin curiously.
“Only talk about difficult courses.” says Jungkook briefly. He had lied to Jimin like this because Jungkook did not want to talk about vampires. He did not want to make the atmosphere more awward for Taehyung.
Jimin nodded trying to accept that answer. “Geurre. Soon midterm exam yes... we need a lot of preparation.”.
Jungkook sighed. “I go to the toilet first.” The man got up and walked towards the toilet. He actually did not want to pee, he was just worried about Taehyung going to the toilet.
When he was in the toilet, he saw Taehyung who was wetting his face with water from a faucet. Taehyung was surprised when he saw Jungkook in the mirror. Jungkook felt Taehyung's expression as shock and fear upon seeing his presence.
Jungkook walks towards the sink next to Taehyung. He washes his hands calmly. “You okay?”
Taehyung did not know what to answer. He goes to the toilet to calm down, reminding himself to handle the situation properly so that his identity is not discovered, so Jungkook does not suspect him of being a vampire. Even if his friend hates vampires, at least Jungkook does not need to know the fact that Taehyung is a vampire.
Jungkook was silent for a while while looking at Taehyung. “Mian..” he said slowly, “You don't have to stress thinking about what I said..”.
Taehyung's face grew increasingly tense at Jungkook's words. He doesn't want to hear it, he doesn't want to hear Jungkook say about vampires anymore. Taehyung is unable to react if Jungkook returns to talk about his hatred of vampires.
“I wouldn't mind you calling me Kookie. I won't be mad, Tae.”
Taehyung was stunned to hear that. The context of Jungkook's talk isn't about vampires??
“Then it's a little cringe..” Jungkook continued, “But I won't be mad you called me Kookie. You don't need stress like this.”
Taehyung's eyes blinked. So this isn't about the vampire thing? Jungkook worried about him because he thought that Taehyung's shock was due to Kookie's nickname problem?
“Taehyung?” jungkook said again because Taehyung had not responded.
“Ah, ne ne ~” Taehyung says finally. He felt a little relieved and his fear slowly disappeared. Jungkook at least thought that he was like this because of his nickname and not because of vampires. “Gomawo... Kookie... I'm fine calling you Kookie?”
Jungkook rolled his eyeballs. “Call as you like. I should have been regular.”
Taehyung laughed crisply. His body was already relaxed with this chatter. He hugged Jungkook's shoulder, “I also thought I'd call Jimin Minnie, what do you think?”
Jungkook grunting. “It would hurt her so much because it looks like you are mocking her height.”
Taehyung. “A-anni, that's not what I meant! For God's sake, Jungkookie, you're so cunning!”
“Lho, kenapa aku yang licik, kaulah yang memikirkan sebutan itu.”
“I called Minnie which stands for Jiminnie~!! Aigoo... same as Kookie which stands for Jungkookie.”.
“But it also has its own meaning that matches its owner. You're the one who's sneaky, Kim Taehyung.”
Taehyung laughed again. “Kajja kajja, we are back.. Minnie must have been waiting for us.”.
Jungkook laughs alone and lets himself be pulled Taehyung to return to their table. Jungkook doesn't want to extend the talk of vampires. He did not want his good mood to be disturbed by the thought of vampires.
